My first Colombian restaurant ever, and I was impressed!! This place is so cozy and filled with decorations! Not a spot was empty on the walls. There were paintings, tv's, hearts, etc. I had a Lulu drink which is some kind of Spanish fruit, very unique taste. The salad had strips of papaya or mango... Not sure which bc I picked those out. I had the skirt steak, and it was delicious when paired with some green spicy sauce they gave us. The Colombian rice is so different from the Chinese rice I have been used to. The Colombian rice was super soft and it was flavorful, with a hint of salt, and it smelled great. I tried the $9 seafood soup, and it was so creamy and had so much flavor in one spoonful. I also tried the chicken fried rice, and it was really good! Worth trying because this was my favorite dish! This dish is not filled with chunks of chicken, it was filled with strands of chicken, which were soft and tasty. I am very impressed with the taste of Columbia. I can not wait to try more Colombian food. I will definitely return to this place!!!!

This was the first Columbian restaurant that I ever went to in NYC years ago and I always remembered it so revisiting was like going back to a favorite past time. The first thing you will fall in love with is the decor of the restaurant. (I get the feeling of a family owned restaurant that has been around for years in one of the oldest cities in Columbia on a quiet street). Service is great the waiters are very helpful and do their best to ensure you have a good experience. The food is delicious and taste as though someone's grand ma made it. Every meal is filling because the portions are great. Enjoy Colombian sodas with your meal or beer. This is the place is a must visit!!!

Very good Colombian food near Junction Blvd in Queens. My husband and I came here years ago and had completely forgotten about the restaurant until recently. We made it our duty to find it, and I'm so glad we did. After approximately 4/5 years nothing has changed about the business. The portions are still huge, food is still delicious, cost is still very affordable and the inside looks exactly the same. One step inside and you'll feel like you're in Latin America.

Bestt authentic Colombian food! Delicious food for great prices. Their lunch specials are great! The portions are great if you have a big appetite. Once you walk in, it feels like home. ENJOY!! You wont regret it!!

Hey, to give out a 5 star is because they truly deserve it. This is a very cozy Latin American restaurant up in Jackson Heights I truly recommend. Sorry Manhanittes, but you will have to take the 7 train far from the City and walk a few blocks, but it is worthwhile. Almost anything on the menu is freshly made and with lots of flavors. Portions are huge, so you may want to share or ask the waiters before you start ordering. There isn't much to do in that area, so if you happen to be around, do not hesitate to visit this place.

The second time, we had to deal with stupid bouncers or security guards before being let into their bar/pub. That's a huge turnoff for me, and it's only worth it for strip clubs and concerts. Sweet Afton is a hip Irish-style pub known for its craft cocktails, extensive beer selection, and upscale pub fare. It has a cozy interior with exposed brick and a sought-after outdoor garden area that is enclosed in the winter.  A few of their menu items include "Astoria's best burger" (using Pat LaFrieda beef), the Dirty Pickle Martini (featuring McClure's pickle juice), and beer-battered fried pickles. I learned that they have a sister pub called the Bonnie in Ditmars, which I have been to and had a great time. Last Saturday I came back for a third time. I was surprised at how things had changed; much more laid-back, with good customer service, good vibes, and one of the most delicious bar burgers I have ever eaten, with a side salad, in any pub or establishment in Queens. Furthermore, Sweet Afron had some nice alternatives to bear and larger, and I selected a cider instead. First, I was offered a sip, and then, upon my approval, a full glass of cider. In conclusion, I do plan to return!

The sauce was just how I like it, not too sweet and just right. The steak was tender and I devoured it right up. I also enjoyed the green sauce that they put on top of fries. Their happy hour menu is top tier. I love every single one of their frozen drinks. The service is a hit or miss. The busser was so quick to take away our dishes even when we were still working on it. He even took my godsister's margarita without her noticing, even though there was some left. I'd understand if they needed the table back and wanted us to wrap up but the dining room was pretty empty. Cleaning up aggressively while we're clearly still eating just makes an unpleasant experience.

She was the absolute best with everything; coordinating my event, texting, emails, calls and meetings to go over the menu and all the details, and demonstrating the space/rooms we rented. This WHOLE experience was top notch! I held my daughter's first birthday/baptism dinner here last month with about 30 of closest friends and family. It couldn't have been more perfect. First off, my event was from 4-7PM but thankfully they allowed the decorators to come way before hand to setup, I was also able to stop by the morning of to check on everything. They had custom menus on all the tables. Everything came out exactly how I had envisioned it! The food was amazing ... as always; I have been coming here for yearsssss. And the service was great. They were super attentive and always available when I needed them. I could not have asked for a better place to have such a milestone event for us. Again thank you Savannah and to the whole team at Blend for making this day unforgettable!
