The first Colombian restaurant to have vegetarian options on the menu, I was pleasantly surprised and it was a delight. We managed to get a seating during the FIFA quarterfinals and needless to say, we had such a good time at La Pequeña Colombia. Plenty of seating and right after getting seated we were offered Budweiser on the house, a token of appreciation by the restaurant in honor of the World Cup. The waiter good and friendly. The food was very flavorful and I really enjoyed my order of vegetarian dish. I recommend La Pequeña Colombia and will be back to try some of their other dishes.

This spot has become a bit overpriced like all the restaurants in Jackson heights but the food does not disappoint. I ordered their bandeja paisa with carne asada, an order of calamari and a sangria. The bandeja was delicious, the chicharrón was perfectly crispy, the beans were not too salty and the steak was a medium well. The calamari was crunchy and the hot sauce gave it a nice touch. Their drinks are honestly the best, they add little pieces of fruit into their sangria. The restaurant itself is very clean, not too bright and a nice environment. The server was lovely as well.

Delicious authentic Colombian food, there's a huge variety of traditional plates from seafood to fast food to the basics like bandeja paisa or ajiaco. Some soups are available only certain days so is best if you check first in case you are interested on a soup in particular, everything else is always available. Is not cheap but it's worth the price, portions are huge and everything was delicious, we had the jugo de mora (blackberry juice) sobrebarriga en salsa criolla (steak on tomato and onion sauce) it came with a side of beans and rice, very filling the beef was tender and delicious, we also ordered the bandeja paisa, everything in it was yummy specially the fried pork belly (chicharrón) would definitely recommend trying if you are looking for a taste of authentic Colombian food. Service was great and music too. Decor might not be the most beautiful but I guess this is more traditional family oriented restaurant. Could be a great place to watch soccer games as it has many tvs all over playing sports. Would recommend and would come back. Pro tip: if you pay cash they won't add the %4 extra charge for paying with card. So if you want to pay less pay in cash.

We just went back to one of our old time favorite and the food did not disappoint. I haven't been in this place for over 7 years, we ordered almost the same thing and the flavor still there. Our waitress was super friendly and funny. She was engaging and make sure we got everything we needed. We ordered the bandeja dish, lengua I'm tomatoes sauce, pork chop with bone, tamales and morcilla(not on the menu). The food was super delicious just how we remembered this place. Portion was good, we even got to take some home. They were up front with the 4% charges in using credit card. The only thing that got to me was the photographer came around about taking pictures(thought it was included as souvenir of the restaurant) and was not upfront about the charges of $20 per picture with frame. Our fault for not asking but we felt bad that he printed them already. Always ask, so beware!

Service: 10/10 Ambiance: low key restaurant 5/5 Food: 4.5/5 The Mini Entraña was delicious! And the waiters were very friendly. My friend ordered a drink but it tasted more like orange juice so that's only reason I gave a 4.5. Otherwise, a great restaurant. A cute couple was dancing and it was only a Tuesday night.

The look of the restaurant from the outside is very nice but the inside could use some renovations. We were sat in a very dark section which made it hard to see the menu. However, the food and drinks were FANTASTIC. We ordered empanadas and fried yucca as appetizers. For our main meal we ordered the carne asada. The portions are large and every was seasoned perfectly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The staff is also very attentive and friendly.

Is hard to rate this place just on my meal of a chicken parm. I think the parm could've used more marinara and the rice and beans a bit more salt. However, the hostess was nice and the food portion was really huge. I had leftovers at the end of the meal.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Queens. Since, I no longer live near by it's a huge treat to come here. Due to Covid, limited outdoor seating is available. Everything on the menu is delicious. My favorite is the grilled chicken marinated in a lemon sauce. It is so flavorful. Yum!!! Funny story, the sky opened up and cried heavy teardrops in a matter of seconds our waitress came over with an umbrella. The rain was pouring down on us so hard. It. Was difficult not to get wet. But, our waitress did her best to keep us dry. How could I not give her a rave review? We quickly ate enough to ease our hunger pains and took the rest to go. No regrets. Totally worth it!

Food was GREAT! Authentic Colombian cuisine ... very tasty. Service was OK. But beware of the $1 "container" fee they charge to take your leftovers home (and don't tell you about until your receipt comes

The food was served cold, items listed on the menu are no longer available and the wait time for cold food was too long.

Colombian arepas (or at least the ones here) come with a sweet, corn tortilla and are more open faced: to be eaten with a fork. In the past, I've had flour tortillas that are designed more like a taco and eaten as a handheld. So despite the differences, I (and my friends) enjoyed our meal. Let the official record state, I ordered the arepas con queso with chorizo. We had plans to eat our way through Jackson Heights, but because a couple of the places we planned to visit were closed, we actually just mostly hung out here and enjoyed our arepas of the sweet and open-faced variety. It was a good afternoon.

Before this, if someone mentioned arepas, I probably would have confused them with pupusas, which I'd only seen at street fairs and thought of as more of a sweet item. I had no idea they came in savory versions too. I went with the carne asada arepa, and the beef was fresh, juicy, and cooked just right. It's so common for places to overcook little chunks of beef, but here it was perfect. Each arepa is big enough to split between two people, so the price feels very fair. The filling was generous, with beef packed inside and even overflowing out the sides. They also serve the arepas with a rack of five or six sauces to choose from. Some were spicy, and one had a sweet condensed milk flavor if you like a mix of sweet and savory. My go to ended up being this green mayonnaise sauce which I assumed was like some sort of a lime mayo, which added the perfect tartiness to the rich cheese filling.
