Pretty standard Mexican food in comparison to other joints in town. I don't love the decor or layout of the restaurant particularly but the service has been good both times I've gone. I also appreciate the free chips and salsa. I've had enchiladas and fajitas. The enchiladas were just alright but I really enjoyed the fajitas. They were fresh and I had enough to take some home. The times I've come here it's because I was nearby or my first choice restaurant is closed. It's decent but not a favorite. read more

They have a fajita salad that is big enough for two people and the drinks are not weak or watered down. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is casual. I had high expectations for this place, given all the great reviews. The carne asada was nothing special and lacked flavor. The service was the real disappointment; our waitress was incredibly inattentive, leaving our salsa and waters empty for the majority of the meal and completely forgetting to bring out the Corona I ordered. Towards the end of the meal I ended up asking her to refill our water and salsa and cancel my drink order. The place was NOT busy, with maybe four other parties on our side of the restaurant. Overall quite disappointed. Go check out Serrano's or Tequila Kitchen for fresh ingredients, great service, and a bottomless salsa bar. read more

Absolutely excellent food. I've gone here for over a decade and I have ordered every item on the menu and even out of state, nothing beats their carne asada. I highly recommend the carne asada dinner to the point where if there were more then 5 stars for review, I'd give it to them. The food is really good, but the service is awful! There is no greeting, no recommendations, and no specials mentioned by the servers. My family and I are regulars here and the food is always amazing. The service is top notch, we never have to wait more than a few minutes to be seated. The food here is really good. But that is the only reason we still give this place a chance every six months or so. The service here is about as bad as the food is good. If you want to eat at a Restaurant that at least makes an attempt to keep your water glass full, do not come here. Also don't bother asking for anything like extra salsa or limes because you will never get it. It is disappointing that a place with food so good is so terrible to eat at that we avoid it. read more

10$ for a cheese quesadilla !!! went on a saturday to order dome takeout. got some taquitos for 16$ and a burrrito 17 $ that was horrible !! I specificcly asked if the burrito was grilled steak and told yes. Got home and it was mushy taco bell style ground beef. We come here a lot for take out or dine in, their food is very consistant and always good and affordable. They have coupons for 10$ off when you get 2 drinks (sodas count) so for two people to eat at a restaurant for under 30$ is a great bargain. My only issue is the inconsistency with pricing, some of the waiters will charge for somethings and some wont, such as shredded beef instead of normal ground. Hell, at least make a minimal effort to maintain authenticity by going to Carr's and picking up a few containers of the Kern's brand. My chimichanga was just okay, but my daughter absolutely hated her tacos. Guys, I've been coming to your spot for years... what happened? You used to serve such great food, your margaritas were great! Your service was excellent. The past three times I've been to your restaurant my girlfriend and I have waited at the front to be seated for at least 10 minutes without even a greeting. This last time we elected to sit at the bar just so we could have service. We were acknowledged very promptly however once the food came, we were very disappointed once again. Everything seemed overcooked and dry. It feels like you stopped caring about the food. We were only checked on once after we finished our drinks(mind you this is 20 minutes after we were served). I've been hoping that this was a fluke that last few times but it's not. I may comment the last time we came here we stood at the front and no one came FOR 10 MINUTES! Drive by and go to Taco Bell---- a chi-wawa knows more about fresh food. MUSHY-- STALE--OVER MICROWAVED. Pricing for a plate of food that will not stack and flows is criminal. My boyfriend and I have both worked food service most of our lives, so we are pretty tolerant of a lot of things. However this was the WORST service I have EVER had. The waitress took our drink order but never brought our drinks, and then forty five minutes later (when we finally got our food, which was wrong) when we reminded her she argued with us that we hadn't ordered any drinks. She ignored us the entire time we were here. First time in thirteen years I have ever seen my guy not leave a tip. Awful service. read more

For a town with a lot of Mexican restaurants this one stands above. Best halibut fajitas in town. Even just the salsa is wonderful. My kids favorite are the chicken taquitos, he asked to come here just for them, and the portions are huge. We always have another meal to take home for later.
