Los Alamitos Tree Service came to my home promptly and did an outstanding job taking care of over 17 trees on my property. They also cleaned up the backyard, which now looks absolutely wonderful. Their work is disciplined, professional, and courteous. Omar, the owner, was very insightful and took the time to share valuable details about what I should and shouldn't do to maintain my property. His knowledge and professionalism really stood out. I highly recommend Los Alamitos Tree Service to anyone looking for expert tree care and exceptional service. read more

The service and responsiveness from these people is a 10/10. I had an estimate scheduled for a Friday, and to my surprise, he SHOWED UP ON TIME! This is a rarity these days with contractors so I already had a good feeling. Omar provided the estimate for tree trimming, tree removal and stump grinding. It was a bit job! He quoted in Friday and started the job on Monday. He arrived with 2 additional workers (on time). They were worked fast but didn't cut corners. They told me it was a 2 day job and guess what??? They finished in 2 days! They left my yard clean, showed up on time, worked all day long and were so pleasant to work with. Great communication and we already hired them for the next job! Very pleased with the work and pricing! read more

Omar & Los Alamitos Tree Services are awesome. They have the best rates out of several companies we've called. We've been using them for years now, but just the other day they came and did 4 trees for us. They are professional and tidy, cleaning up everything from the ground. Thank you Omar!!! read more

Great service, unbeatable prices and customer service. Oscar and his team came out to remove and stump grind a large tree and trim another smaller tree. They arrived promptly at 8am and were finished with the job by 4pm. Removed one star because they left the stump wood for another company to pick up for fire wood 2 days later. That 3rd party company flaked without telling Los Alamitos tree service. It took a few calls before they came and picked up the remainder of the wood a week later. read more

I called for a quote to remove 3 trees in my backyard, a giant palm tree and two weeping ficuses. Omar came out to give me an estimate, he explained the process of removal and recommended that I stump grind all of the trees at once to save money. He did the estimate on Wednesday, and by Saturday morning my trees were no more. His team worked fast, clean and even had their PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)on!!! This company is licensed, bonded, and carries Workmen's Comp. They were so good, I'm bringing them back out this Saturday to clear all the weeds from backyard after all the rain! It was a great price for a job well done!!! read more

I made an appointment early this week for this company to come out and spend 2 hours trimming one Carob tree. They scheduled me for 10 am today, Friday before 4th if July week. Twenty minutes before my scheduled appointment they called and canceled saying they were "behind" and that " this happens "all the time" so they wouldn't be coming out at all today and wanted to know if I wanted another "tentative appointment " for sometime next week. I declined since there's quite a number of competent tree services in my area ( Mission Viejo) such as Affordable Tree Service and Reyes Tree Service. Since I had wasted valuable time with rearranging my schedule the least they could have done would have been to call me yesterday since they must have already known by the end of the day they weren't coming first thing this morning. So if you want to waste your valuable time with a company that won't bother to inform you they're not coming on the date and time that they selected then by all Means call these people lol. read more

I haven't had work done with them yet but they did come out and give me a estimate so I called to schedule an appointment. They are so unprofessional, I left them many messages and they don't return my call . You still can let me know if you don't want my business so I can move on. read more

Very satisfied with their service. Omar and his team came and trimmed 8 big palm trees and 20 smaller palm trees for us and cleaned up and removed all debris. They arrived promptly and it was so easy to contact them and get a quote. I definitely recommend them. read more

I hired this company to trim mature trees in my front yard. The owner of the company came and gave me a quote and seemed knowledgeable as to tree trimming. However, the owner does not do the work. He had two young kids who he relies on to do the actual tree trimming. These kids did not use scissors to trim the trees. They used a SAW! They sawed my mature trees in half--vertically! I called to complain, and the receptionist hung up on me. I will never use them again and I do not recommend them. read more

Last weekend I hired Los Alamitos Tree service to remove a tree from my backyard in La Habra . They took it all out with the roots and everything and they did a really great job and was very clean. I am so happy with the price and service from these guys. Omar and his crew are the best. They showed up on time and did the neatest and most through job we have ever had done on our yard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to any of my neighbors. read more

I called Omar for a quote because my back yard was beginning to look awful. Omar, following my wish list, transformed my back yard and I can't be happier with the results. Omar and his team are very professional and do excellent work at a very competitive price. They removed plants, planted new ones, installed synthetic grass, set up gardening boxes for me, and completely cleaned up front and back yard, made sure the drip system was working, etc. They went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Loa Alamitos Tree Service. read more

Called these guys a couple of times over the past few years after they leave their flyers on my doorstep. Twice I have scheduled and twice they have been a no show. Apparently they don't need the business and are wasting time placing flyers and scheduling appointments. I went with Lina tree who showed up as promised. read more

My son had Los Alamitos do some tree trimming in his backyard. While they were there last fall I asked if they would give me an estimate on a palm and maple that I have. Omar came up looked at the trees and gave me a verbal estimate. I told him I'd call after the maple lost its leaves. I checked with the guy that had done my trees for several years with the price increasing $50 to $100 year over year. I called Los Alamitos back last week and scheduled them. While they did have to reschedule that was no big deal for me. They showed up today and did a great job. The protected my plants below the tree and were in and out in less than an hour. They are clean, professional, polite, and respect your property. I'll definitely use them again. read more

I used this company for sod installation, I was referred by a friend about their services. From the moment I picked up the phone I knew I had made a great choice. The lady that set up the appointment was very helpful in answering all my questions first timer questions and concerns. The men that went out to my house to install the grass were very polite & left my yard looking healthy & green!! I would recommend this to anyone :) read more

Excellent in every way. Prompt, courteous, hard workers. My pine tree was trimmed expertly.

Called them to access unhealthy tree. Advisor came out and told me I had gophers in the yard and it was causing the tree to die. Easiest $200 they have ever made for 10 minutes of "work". Called pest control and they told me I had so gophers whatsoever. Called them back out to remove the tree since they said I could apply the consultation credit to the service. Not only did they refuse to honor the credit, they tried to charge me $700+ to remove the tree. Seriously?!? Even with the credit, other companies are charging far less for the same service. Beware of this shady company. read more

Called David at AMDM for a quote to re landscape our backyard after getting a recommendation on nextdoor university. He came over assessed and stated he would give a quote by the following week. He finally got back to us 9 days later after me continuously asking him on the status. No breakdown or official estimate was ever given, just a dollar figure. After texting him and calling him again with that simple request I finally gave up and went with someone else. Granted these landscapers are busy, to not even get an official acknowledgement is unacceptable and compels me to provide this review. They may well be a very good landscaping company based on the reviews I've seen, but this was unacceptable customer service. $3500 worth of business ended up going elsewhere. read more

I called for a quote to fix my sprinkler system as some of my trees look like they are not getting enough water. Noel came to the house with a mask on, was very polite, got straight to work and started pulling dead pieces off of my trees. I said okay what do you suggest on the sprinkler system, he tested each sprinkler individually walked around to look at where they were watering and told me my sprinkler system is great all I needed to do was to clean off those trees and all those dead branches and I should be fine. To go ahead do that wait a couple weeks and if I don't see new growth to give him a call and he will come back out here and give me a very cost-effective estimate on adding some extra sprinklers if needed. What a great honest Company and person. Very impressed. Gave me great advice, and then gave me the contact information for a wholesale sprinkler parts store in case I wanted to go and get some parts on my own. I would recommend him to anyone. What an honest awesome hard-working dude. Respect. read more

I had this company cut down 5 trees in my front yard in Mission Viejo, that had grown out of control over the years. They did an outstanding job. They showed up exactly when they said they would , I love reliability. They were very friendly, they even hauled my firewood for me, and they did a great job. I will use them all the time now. Really glad I found them! read more

I found Omar and his crew from a business card left on my door. Having found my long-standing tree trimmer/remover of 10+ years the same way and being thrilled with his expertise and work, I decided to give Omar a try. My regular guy wanted hundreds of dollars more to do the same job. I read all Omar's reviews on Yelp and checked Omar's license with the state. He provided evidence of insurance. Everything checked out fine . Now for the good part. I could not recommend Omar and his crew highly enough. They arrived promptly on time, even though it is raining today and we thought sure they would cancel. They removed two very large trees, ground the stumps, and cleaned up the all the debris in approximately two hours. An EXCELLENT job!! I would definitely use him again and give him the highest recommendation. And to whomever that was that said he was rude...my guess is people respond to how they are treated. I found him friendly, respectful, VERY customer service oriented, and all around a good guy. read more

Omar and his crew were amazing. When we called and made the estimate appointment the girl was very kind and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the night before they were supposed to come out we had experienced some high winds so they had to cancel, but they called immediately to let us know and to reschedule. We scheduled them to take out the trees and they ended up calling and saying they could come out 3 days sooner if wanted. They showed up promptly and worked until every tree was out. Cleaned up the yard and trash and left the yard looking nicer than when they arrived. We will definitely recommend them to anyone who asks. read more

We had to remove a bougainvillea and some other plants before getting our fence repaired. Omar and his crew did an excellent job. Omar and his crew do excellent work and work hard for you. They are nice, professional and show up on time. I've used them for tree trimming in my large backyard and also for tree removal, drainage replacement and new Sod. Omar will give you a very honest price and he's a great communicator. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family and I appreciate how good they are so I'm posting a rare yelp review. read more

My only complaint: I think these guys are getting busy. I've used them before, but the last time I had to wait almost a week to get them out to trim palms, remove 4 small trees, and do some serious pruning on a fifth. My understanding is that they group jobs together in a neighborhood to maximize working time and minimize driving. Sometimes you have to wait. But these guys are the real deal when it comes to tree trimming. Forget the pair of guys that knock on your door wanting to trim your trees. Omar and crew rock up in a big truck towing a chipper behind it. They have helmets, climbing gear, ladders, a power stump grinder, and all the other tools and saws to get it done. The best surprise: The price was lower than the two guys in the truck going door-to-door. Unless it's a short-fuse job, these are the people I will call every time. read more

Gave these guys a call from a flyer they left on my doorstep. So glad I went with them. I've got a decent sized yard with about 25 trees. We've got everything from palm trees, magnolia's, and ash trees. They trimmed about 20 of them and we had them remove 3 along with a few stumps left behind from smaller ones we removed ourselves. It took them about a day and half but the trees look great. We have much more light in our back yard now. All of the guys that came out were friendly and very courteous. They also picked up after themselves which it seems is not usually the case with most contractors. Cleaned up all the tree debris and trimmings. Can't say that I've got any complaints. I've already told a few friends to give them a call when they need their trees done. I know I'll be calling them again next year. read more

Very disappointed with Omar and his attitude. The workers were good but he was not customer focused and was ride. I will not be using them again nor will my neighbors who asked if I was satisfied. read more

If I Could rate them a zero stars, I would. As I write this review, the company I had to hire to redo the sprinkler system is basically replacing the entire system. Apparently even when we pointed out the leaking valves, Omar and his crew couldn't fix it with two trips. The sprinklers were watering everything but our new sod. We decided to cut our losses and hire someone that knew how to install a functioning system. read more

These guys are amazing! We had 2 huge Brazilian Pepper trees, 30' queen palms and some ficus trees that had not been trimmed in over 5 years. To add to all this, we have a ton breakable yard art. The guys showed up on time and immediately got to work. They had the trees trimmed exactly as we requested, did not break one thing and were cleaned up and out of here by 3 pm. Amazing and impressive! The crew was very nice and personable. We cannot recommend them more highly! read more

We contacted the company and they were responsive and scheduled the tree removal for a few days later. They promised to remove the tree and grind the stump down eighteen inches. We were thrilled and the removal of the tree itself went fine and promptly. The stump removal people came and used a machine around the stump and it looked like they were doing what they promised. Alas, two weeks later when our landscapers came to prepare the soil they removed one inch of soil and the entire stump was there. They are spending hours removing the stump that should have been removed by those who said they would. When we called the company we were told we could schedule stump removal with them in a week. But we just discovered the stump that was not removed and our landscapers are here now. We asked for a partial refund since they only did part of the job and they said, "we don't do that." I would never use them again. Ever. read more

Never again! First let me start off by saying when they work, they work! Their work is good and they know their trees, that's when they finally show up (IF they do). This is the 3rd and final time I try and schedule with them! I took a day off from work to get my trees trimmed and have work done. I called them Monday, the lady on the other line ran my info and confirmed my address. She said they would be here today on Friday between 11am-12 noon. I called this morning to confirm they did not have me on the schedule, then the lady said she'd call me back. Shocker! No call back! So I called she said they'd be here around 11am-12 noon. 12:30 nothing I call no answer. 1 pm still nothing I call to my surprise and amazement no answer! This is the third time this has happened! Clearly they don't want my business and I don't need their's. If you want a tree trimming business that is reliable LOS ALAMITOS TREE SERVICE are NOT THE ONES!!!! read more
