I absolutely love the vibe at Lorimar Café. We went there for brunch on Sunday, and as soon as we walked in, the owner, Mark, warmly greeted us, seated us right away, and poured us mimosas. He was incredibly kind and made us feel very welcome. The service and food were exceptional, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great champagne brunch experience. We have gone to Lorimar Cafe since it opened. After 6 months they have changed their chef and manager and most of the staff. The amount of food you get for the price is much less than before. The food is good, the atmosphere is a breakfast diner feeling but comfortable. It is better than what was there before. They do have more gluten-free options on their new menu. A few things have changed and they added a few items as well. We are in walking distance so we are thankful for a place that is close and has good options and good food. Just sorry to see the old chef go and less food for your dollar. read more

The service was okay. We didn't get greeted for at least 5 minutes even though servers were walking past us making eye contact which felt a little awkward. The ambiance is nice but in my personal opinion felt like the theme didn't really match the menu. And the food was good. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were extremely dry but the gravy helped by soaking into the bread. Portions are smaller than a tradition breakfast spot. My husband order the chilaquiles which were probably both of our favorite dish out of everything. Very flavorful with no complaints. We lastly order the churro French toast to share and it was okay. I prefer a thicker syrup compared to what they offered and French toast itself tasted a bit undercooked. The two churros placed on top were delicious. Over all an okay experience. read more

A beautifully decorated cafe in Temecula- our first time here and it delivered! Ambience, service, and food were all worth a stop here! Our server, Gigi, was warm and friendly and had great tips on what to do in the area! And, we are heading to the winery when they open. Dan is an excellent server. Food is good and love the atmosphere. A little dark for during the day but great at night

A few friends of mine came to try this place out and told me I should give it a try so I did. My sister and I stopped in and upon walking in we noticed a thick scent of paint, probably because it's brand new but at least open up the doors for a day and air the place out. As far as the menu, it seemed a little eclectic, but what we instantly noticed was that the pricing was more representative of a restaurant at a winery. Definitely overpriced for what it is. Our food was OK at best. My sister's hashbrowns that came with her omelette were undercooked and her omelette was missing the cheese that was supposed to be in it. My breakfast sandwich was just OK, pretty small, and served with breakfast potatoes which were pretty bland. My sister tried to order sangria which was on their menu, but they said they were out today. This is a café and wine bar, correct? Iced tea was good though.. Service was basic at best. The real icing on the cake was the constant elevator music playing loudly from the speakers throughout the restaurant above us. If I ever end up on an elevator to purgatory, this will be the cafe connected to it. Altogether I'm just not too happy as I was hoping the newest restaurant addition to the city of Temecula would be something good. read more

I was ousted from the open mic for playing songs like I'm too sexy by right said Fred and Mr Boombastic by Shaggy which played on mainstream radio. Reason that I was given is that this is a "family friendly" place. Now this is basically a winery/bar that sells food. So I would think that they would be a little more flexible. When I played those songs everyone in the room looked like at least 70 and in the past I had rarely seen kids there. And by the way one of their main sales there are wine beer and alcohol and in my opinion all these people drinking alcohol and getting drunk with kids around isn't exactly "family friendly" LOL...... read more

My Mom and I stopped in for lunch a few weeks ago, and it was truly the worst dining experience we've ever had. The quality of the food was horrifyingly bad. Almost inedible. The service was somehow even worse. Our server "accidentally" included a gratuity our bill, and when she was asked to take it off, she said she couldn't. It happened again, I sat down for breakfast at the Lorimar Cafe, for a change I ordered the "Catch All", a breakfast with two eggs to order, two sausages, and potatoes. Note: There are other options but the above are my choices. The eggs were perfectly cook "Over Medium", whites were cooked and the yokes poured out with just the right consistency. The sausages are the most delicious sausages I have tasted, you can have them cooked to your taste but mine were browned all the way around and cooked perfectly. The last part of the breakfast were Breakfast Potatoes, a tri-mix of some of the best seasoned potatoes I have eaten, just the right amount seasoning and also cooked very well not overdone. My meal was topped off with a cup of coffee and if you get there before ten AM, you might still get a free cup of their coffee, which I found to be a decent blend. Please give Lorimar Cafe on Rancho California by Albertsons a try, it has good food, good service, and good conversation. read more

Fantastic food and amazing customer service. I recently bought a house in walking distance and the value here for lunch is amazing. I'm not a huge meat eater, but I always get their burger because it's 100% worth it. This satellite location is actually what turned me on to the winery in general, since I was surprised by the quality of their red wines. I'm now a wine club member for obvious reasons! I do wish they'd allow free glass redemption at this location, but I understand why they stopped. Maybe one day we can have nice things again (possibly with purchase of an entree it can be allowed). I have to admit that when I get my free glasses at the winery, I am less likely to spend additional $ on food and usually just tip my server whereas if I was getting a free glass at the cafe, I would absolutely be ordering dinner or lunch alongside it. What are you expecting? Next to a Dentist office and a Supermarket. This is not the normal eatery for a retail center. Coming in the atmosphere is calming and comfortable. The service was good and friendly. My first time here I didn't expect a mostly breakfast menu. But I like breakfast My breakfast sandwich with sausage was very good also the Belgian waffles. Ate here a few times, ordered different items. The food was great, place is clean, staff is nice, service is solid.

This place is AMAZING! Truly a hidden gem. The food wa delicious! We had the goat cheese fritters which were super flavorful. My kids loved the pancakes and fruit (the fruit bowl was HUGE!). My husband ordered the Korean fried chicken sandwich and added a fried egg to it. He's a pretty picky eater and loved it. I've been twice. I had the matcha waffle which was a yummy waffle but didn't taste much like matcha. I got the breakfast burritos this time and it was perfect. The salsa and pico de Gallo were so good. I got the cinnamon roll each time too. Once with Ube and once with vanilla brown sugar. Both are amazing. I had yummy mimosas the first time and delicious black coffee this time. Everything has been SO good. I want to go again to try the banana pudding french toast, nitro cold brew coffee and the other 2 sweets, an Italian pudding and I don't remember the other thing on the menu but it sounded so.good and unique. I've been a regular customer of this place for the last several months, but unfortunately, there has been a chef change in the food quality has gone way downhill. I sometimes share a meal with a friend and the kitchen always kindly split the plate for us but now we are told they won't allow that anymore. I also heard the chef speaking rudely to our server, which was upsetting. Even though we really like the waitstaff , I think I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

We just had breakfast here, and the food was excellent. The service was friendly and kind as well. That being said, the atmosphere for brunch needs a little help. It's so dark and dreary with soft jazz music playing in the background. My husband was falling asleep. Lol I can see how it would be a nice spot for dinner. I'd suggest opening the window shades and maybe playing some more upbeat music for the daytime crowd. One more suggestion would be some fancy coffee options. No lattes or fun flavors are available.
