A great place in Rancho California but their wait staff could use some work. We found this place thru Yelp and read the great food reviews and wanted to check it out. The place smells amazing even from the outside. However once they seated us it took forever for them to finally have someone take our order. And then another even longer wait after that as they lost our order. However the prices were good and the food when it finally arrived was well worth the wait. We tried two different soups, a sandwich and a burger. All delicious. They brought up a free glass of wine to South our nerves which was kind of them. I highly recommend you check this place out but make sure to keep track of the staff as you might get your order lost.

We stopped by on our way to do a winery p. I love exploring new places and getting out of my comfort zone. So after doing other errands and having a very empty stomach, ended up here. The good: the food was delicious. The flavors were very complimentary and exceeded my expectations. The bad: the wait time from our order being taken to food arriving was far far longer than expected, especially considering how slow it seemed as it was towards the end of their business day. Another group was observed also growing in curiosity as to why it was taking so long to get our meals. It was also odd when another group arrived after we did and got their meal right away, while we waited 20-25 minutes. This was especially odd considering it appeared to be a slower day as well. The in between: the decor inside has a nice relaxing vibe, however the seating of tables does not lend itself towards any expectation of privacy or a subdued atmosphere, as they are put together fairly close to the point where even low talkers can be eaves dropped upon without effort. Overall, it was a good stop but would have been better had the meals not taken so long to arrive at the table.

Palomar Village location extremely accessible including parking. Service very welcoming. Breakfast and lunch has been great without long waits, experienced so far. Omelette options are basic, fluffy but slightly over and needed seasoning. The house potatoes...,crispy, pillowy and delicious. The "Cozy pair" composed of an excellent butternut squash bisque and half a grilled Brie sandwich is delightful. Structural assembly could be improved allowing the enjoyment of the bite. No phone number provided for this location, unfortunately no military discount offered. Lorimar winery membership are welcome and take out was available while running errands. Will return. To date, highly recommend.

A great place to eat. The service was excellent. And the prices were reasonable. A great place to bring your family.

We've been waiting for the Lorimar Cafe to open. Since the Lorimar Loft closed, this is now our other Lorimar spot. We were impressed when walked in, real nice seating and upholstery similar to the wine club at Lorimar. We've been wine club members 10 years. They've got the best reds! So the food here is good. We've only tried two items so far. The loaded bagel was awesome. My wife had the Korean chicken sandwich, and she loved it. Nice ambiance here. I like that you can get your wine club glasses and get 10% off the menu food. Thanks, Mark it was worth the weight!

A charming restaurant. Very chill morning vibe, but friendly and attentive service. My husband's breakfast sandwich with bacon and potatoes was so good! The bacon was thick and flavorful. Beautiful brioche bun. The right amount of tasty sauce. And the addition of sweet potatoes in the potato mix was amazing (crisp outside, creamy interior). My veggie omelet was excellent. I love the small dice on the bell peppers, lovely amount of vegetables as well. My mimosa with OJ was especially refreshing as well. Patrick was an excellent server. If we lived close by we would be regulars!

We came here with 7 of us. The music was excellent but just too loud for us. We were going to leave but our server, Kari was so amazing, we decided to stay. She was incredible! So nice, informative, attentive and helpful!

This place, hands down, is THEEEEEE BEST BRUNCH SPOT IN TEMECULA!!! Thank you Josh for making our visit memorable. This cafe is absolutely adorable-- perfect for a quick instagram photo op, brunch, lunch, date night or a quick drink!

So glad we stopped by and can't wait to come back. Greeted by several employees when we walked in and got seated right away. Still in their soft open phase, but it was great and I can't wait to watch this place to continue to grow and evolve! We were able to use our winery membership discount, and get our complimentary glasses of wine (so awesome!). Service was great, Linda was attentive, friendly and professional. Inside there are several tables and booths, as well as bar seating. Beer and wine available! Food items were limited, but perfect for a quick bite with a glass of wine. The Korean fried chicken sandwich was amazing! Can't wait to come back!

Tucked away off the main road, this place feels quiet, intimate, and incredibly charming, with dark walls, candlelight, and wine bottles lining the walls. The ambiance, the food, the wine--it all came together perfectly. The gray sky at sunset somehow made the whole experience feel even more atmospheric and intimate. I HAD THE BEST FISH OF MY LIFE HERE!…read more The photo might not do it justice, but holy moly - I seriously had a life changing moment eating the striped bass here. It was cooked to absolute perfection with the bones separating right off to indulge to the fullest extent. They tell you it takes 30 mins to cook, which is well worth the wait. The skin was perfectly crispy and the seasoning was to die for. The meat was juicy and I couldn't stop eating it alongside the garlic yogurt. It also came with a side of chickpeas and summer squash. The cocktails were a nice break away from all the wine in Temecula - but I wished the drinks would be punchier and more creative. The charred cauliflower was a nice order, though it was too "raw" and therefore dry. I think it'd be better lightly fried to lock in some juice. Service was fantastic, especially as the server is the one that pushed us to get the fish. The ambiance is fantastic; we stayed inside but the outside is beautiful. Overall, I can't believe that fish; I hope to try it again when I revisit the area.

Brunch lasts until 2pm and then from 2pm to 245pm they serve only appetizers. Lmao. Thats certainly interesting. Aesthetically this place is gorgeous. I love that they are dog friendly and it wasnt too hot today at the patio. I got the bloody mary to start and it was pretty good. The bacon in it was amazing, however, it didnt taste like 2 shots. The drink was thick but the flavor was still good. I got avocado toast with smoked salmon. This very small meal was 20$. I got a lox bagel and 4 huge pieces of smoked salmon with capers and a side of avocado a few days ago in Vegas on the strip and that was 16$. Sooooooo... how is this justifiable? Anyways, I also ordered a diet coke and they came out with a mini can. Talk about why this place is called "small" barn. Lol! The server stated the can is super small bc its only 2$. Thats just silly. Just get the bigger can and charge me 3 bucks for it. Thats fair in my humble opinion. 4$ for two mini cans is wonky to me. Alas, these are not the reasons why this place originally got a 2 star from me. It was the tomatoes on my avocado toast. They taste spoiled, old, and mushy. It made my stomach hurt a bit. As for the salmon, it tasted like it smelled, funky. Why i ended up giving this place a 3 instead of 2 stars? Bc their creme brulee was the BEST creme brulee I've ever had. It was so luscious, creamy, and it felt like these are the kinds of desserts GODS eat! It was amazing! My server was friendly and talkative with me up until the end. She said "have a good day" in an oddly, irritated way when I paid with my card. Oh wells. Ill come here for the desserts! And perhaps ill give other things a try

Food: 5 Service: 5…read moreAmbiance: 5 Hidden gem alert! Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, you would never guess such a sexy, sophisticated spot is sitting right in the middle of it all. From the moment we walked into Fugghedabout, we were stunned. The space is dark, sultry, lightly dimmed, and incredibly chic, something you'd never expect here. It has a very grown up, intimate vibe (21+ only), perfect for date night or a night out with friends. We were lucky enough to visit on a night with live music (they have it Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), and it completely set the mood. Even though it wasn't very busy, the energy was wonderful and the music was excellent. Service was top notch. Meghan was fantastic, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and so helpful throughout the meal. Faith, the owner, also stopped by several times to check on us, which earned major points. Such a sweet touch and much appreciated. Now the food... wow. We started with the seared scallop special topped with caviar, and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked, with the caviar adding just the right touch of saltiness. Honestly, we wanted to order more. The hot goat cheese with hot honey appetizer was delicious and so comforting. Definitely get extra bread, you'll want it. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food in a sultry, intimate setting. I've already recommended it to several friends. Thank you Meghan and Faith for such a great night. We'll definitely be back!

Imagine an elegant Wine Bar with dim lighting, an Old Skool atmosphere, and a wine list and menu of entrees and appetizers that will challenge any palate, compliments of Chef Orquedea. It was our first visit, arriving just as they opened, and having the whole romantic, classy speakeasy all to ourselves, our server Megan, made us feel right at home. Ensuring we received a little history about the establishment, the day's specials, and what some of their customers' favorites. To begin the experience, we received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine in celebration of their one-year anniversary, which was a nice touch. After a brief moment, we settled on sausage and three-cheese skillet appetizers with a house baguette. The two dishes arrived piping hot, gooey, and enticing! Amazingly delicious to say the least! Kudos to their place settings, glassware, and cloth napkins. Our selected wine was excellent as well, and the selection is very worldly and admirable. THIS is my favorite date place in the area!!! Chill, fashionable, comfortable seating, gorgeous bar, soft music in the background allowing for conversation, and the restroom provides a pleasant surprise as well. Hours of operation hover around Happy Hour and dinner, closing at 9 PM on weekdays and 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. Looking forward to enjoying their live entertainment and themed events in the future, at which time I will follow up on this review. Thank you, Faith, Megan & Orquedea for a wonderful time.--
