Came here to try the food. We ordered the nacho fries and a catfish dinner. Right after ordering the waitress told me that I had to give her my credit card in order for her to put the order in and she told me that she knew that I wasn't going to be drinking a lot but they don't take any orders without opening a tab. I thought this was really weird and it sent red flags up. We get our food and my catfish is extremely fishy and salty. The nacho fries were ok but really salty. When it came time to pay and leave that waitress had gone on break outside with my credit card on her and not at the bar. Needless to say I have no reason to ever come here and unless you have only cash and you're just there for drinks. read more

The most entertaining place you can find across the Placer County line! Because there's a trailer park right behind Loree's, the patrons are (simply put) colorful. Karaoke is HILARIOUS! I think at one point B Rabbit was doing a set. The best yet: a big tall white guy in a wife beater, ill-fitting jeans and a sideways baseball cap using the wireless mic to "work the crowd" while rapping Eminem. IMPRESSIVE! Tacos are bomb.com and while the staff think they know tequila they swear by Patron... hmm.?.?.?.... either way they're eager to help you line up your next Loree's induced hang over. Do not go visit this place the bartenders are really very rude , and they do not need to be bartenders especially the way they talk to there customers. The food is horrible and really bad tasting they had the nerve to bring our food completely burnt and give us a dirty look when we asked them to replace our food order. The only thing that was worth going to see at this shack was the karaokee lady named Deanne she is what makes this place even function at all , and please check your bill at the end of the night very closely, because they seem to like to add extra charges onto your total bill especially if they think you are a little drunk , so pay close attention to your bill at the end of the night...will never step foot in this place again... read more

Sometimes my GPS fails me...I search for the closest taqueria and the restaurant is closed that day, out of business, etc. That's what happened twice before we settled here at Loree's. We parked out back in the gravel lot and chuckled at the permanent "Free Beer Tomorrow" sign... Loree's is half dive bar and half old-school dive restaurant with truck-stop style comfort food. A couple of locals were at the bar, already hammered at 9:15 in the morning. We overheard one guy talking about how he only had to win "two more" poker tournaments to become a millionnaire in the WSOP. Pure entertainment. Our food took longer than expected even though there was only a family of 4 and a couple in front of us. But, we passed the time checking out all the hella dusty kitschy crap hanging all around us... To satisfy my ever-present tortilla craving, I ordered the 2 Taco Scramble. Two grilled corn tortillas filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, cheese, lettuce and tomato, both dusted with parmesan, accompanied by a side of home fries. EXCELLENT!!!! I would return just for that damn breakfast. Come here for cheap eats and amusing people-watching. read more

I would first like to say that I ventured out and went to this bar because I had friends and coworkers going for the bar's karaoke night. My experience was not a pleasant one due to the bartender's attitude towards my friends and I. I'm assuming it was due to the fact that we are "young" and obviously didn't fit in with the regular crowd there. He checked my ID 3 TIMES and couldn't remember checking my ID 5 minutes prior...He was also very rude about serving my group and acted as if we were inconveniencing him by ordering drinks. I hate giving a local bar a low rating but omg the food was soooooo bad it really didn't even deserve a star. The rib eye was loaded with salt, the fries also a salt lick, and the drinks . Great karaoke... Bathroom smells like &;&;/)/7@;?+**^] I was super impressed with the waitress. She was a one women show and had the entire bar covered. Having had a very good experience here one time in the past, I thought we'd enjoy eating there again. After taking a seat (and being seen by the server), we waited about 7 or 8 minutes before realizing we were probably making a mistake. Since there were a considerable number of people who appeared to be waiting for food, we decided staying would be a bad idea. As we got up and prepared to leave, my wife saw the server and asked if he were "on his own". He responded that he was..."almost every night" (or some similar comment whch made it clear that the situation wasn't unusual). As it turned out, he was the ONLY employee working on food service and he was responsbile for taking orders, taking payments, serving food and.....preparing food. I'm sure he was doing the best he could but he seemed very relieved to see us leave. The poor guy was in a 'no win' situation. This place was great the first time we ate there and I'm going to give them another try if I ever have reason to think they've hired sufficient help. I suspect service at lunchtime is better....it certainly couldn't be worse. read more

Okay, so this place is a dive, but come on the name says it all! The drinks are strong, and not too overpriced. The atmosphere is great, karaoke is fun to watch! Grab a table, the waitresses will grab your drinks for you from the bar, definite plus. But, the beer is overpriced for a pitcher. $12 for 4 puny beers(shock top) and one of the bartenders can be less than friendly. But for rocklin, it's a decent hangout, Foster's up the road is better in my opinion but Loree's is a good place to fall back on. read more

What a fun place! We met a friend there that lives in Rocklin for some drinks, and were happy to find out they had karaoke. Great crowd and service, I'll definitely be back to try the food. Awesome karaoke song selection and variety of songs being sung! Only reason I didn't give five stars was because of the cigarette smoke wafting in every time the front door wad opened. Ok, the reason it gets four-stars is because this place literally is the definition of a dive bar. First of, everything is extremely old, chairs, tables, and all the drinks come mostly in different styles of mason jars. The food is for the most part Greasy. I wouldn't say its bad. I had some garlic fries which were good but its no Olive Garden. There's no back patio to smoke, so most people are either in the front or in the parking lot sucking on cancer sticks. The best thing about this place... well, everything actually. Somehow all of these horrible elements come off as delightful, and make you feel like you are in the country or your grandma's house. The people who visit are friendly and are fun to be around. Karaoke brings everyone together for good times. This is a non-judgmental establishment, so I believe that this is what saves it from being seen as a icky run-down-shack. read more

Let me start off by saying that I love going to Loree's for karaoke... they have recently hired two new young K.J.'s who are courteous and funny and friendly and easy on the eyes. Unfortunately the songs are several years old and the books haven't been updated in at least 5 years. There's rarely a huge crowd so the rotation is fairly fast... I never have to wait more than 6 or 7 singers before it's my turn! Unfortunately, the drinks are overpriced for a dive bar... they'd be fine for a more elevated atmosphere or clientele but it's a dive bar... wouldn't you expect dive bar prices?? $4.50 for a single draft is way high for that, especially when you can get better costs almost anywhere else in a 10 mile radius. This would not be a problem by itself but when you add that the service is painfully slow and the bartenders are almost the rudest people in all of Rocklin (the bald one is the worst... he smiles at his regulars and then acts like you're making his life difficult when it's his turn to wait on you. Also he always serves his bar-seated regulars first, no matter how long you've been standing there. Ugh... horrible service.) I will say that they do have a waitress... but only one, and she only works certain nights of the week, no matter how busy they may be. I love going to Loree's and I like most of the people there. But go there knowing that you will be overpaying for what you're getting and service will likely be extremely slow and heavily seasoned with snotty attitude. read more

I was visiting in town and hung out at this bar one night. It's a total dive bar inside, and that's cool. I liked the prices and the karaoke was entertaining. The food was great, like something your mom would whip up in the 80's but with better ingredients. The drinks are strong and well priced. The crowd was interesting (20 something meets VFW) the night we were there and the people watching was great.
