Listen, this is the exact reason why people say "don't judge a book by its cover" - when you walk in it looks like a dive bar but I promise you the food and service was awesome! TACOS! TACOS! TACOS! We found this gem on the way home from Reno, we never eat mainstream or chains if we can help it, I read the reviews for this place and we decided to stop. It's a Sunday evening and there were a few locals, but it was all about the tacos! Kids are welcomed! We had our 2 kids with us and they had the lobster tacos and the ribeye. They both said it was delicious! Great place to stop if you want good food at a great price!! Totally affordable for a family of 4!

Cool local bar with a down to earth, old town Rocklin feeling. People are chill and the vibe is super casual. Good burger and an ice cold beer hit the spot!

Tacos and a pint o' beans

I'm in love with the tacos and beans here! Yeah, Loree's is one of the best dive bars around that serves some amazing food! If I'm in the area, I'll stop in for their crispy tacos. It's so good and I'm addicted to them! It's ground beef and cheese, in a fried corn tortilla, garnished with shredded Iceberg. Served alongside with their homemade sauces. My favorite is the black pepper sauce, it's really good. I also love their Fire beans, it's soupy with a little kick and I can't stay away from it. We did order the BLAT sandwich too but we like the tacos more. I can't really comment about the drinks because I've only had an 805 here and usually stick to just drinking Coke. The place is huge, they have ample seating in the bar and there's a dining area that has lots of tables and a dance floor. I know they do have karaoke throughout the week which my girlfriends and I need to check out. Plus, plenty of seating outdoors too if you like. Now, you should be patient when you come in because the bartender takes care of the bar/dining area. Plus, there's only one cook and she's Amazing and Fast! Overall...Loree's is a gem tucked away in Old Rocklin. There is another Loree's in Orangevale that I need to check out next.

The tacos are second to none in the area, and the Firebox beans are as unique as they are absolutely tasty.

Tucked behind an unassuming alley in Old Roseville sits a green door marked only with the number…read more323. No signs. No bell. No sliding peek window. No sound leaking through the walls. You'd be forgiven for thinking you were in the wrong place or about to make a mistake and put yourself into a sketchy place. We looked around for a more "realistic" entry way not knowing the most realistic entry way is one that looks like a back door to a closed vacuum or furniture storefront. That's exactly the point. You knock. Immediately, the door opens. A man in a cowboy hat looks you over. He doesn't wear a name tag. He doesn't need one. He asks, "You have something to say?" If you've done your homework, and say the right thing, the door stays open. You're in. I do not know what happens if you do not have the word. What follows is less a bar and more a pocket of time. The interior is small but well conceived. The bar sits directly at the entrance, flanked by a few standing guests and several small tables. Beyond that, the space opens up into a lounge with seating for six to eight, and a longer bench-style area for a dozen or so. The walls are dark, the lighting low. It's the kind of place that feels like it remembers what Prohibition was, even if most of us never lived it. It felt like walking onto a movie set where we might be extras, and the main characters would enter and play out a scene. It was a perfect example of a speak easy in full swing. Even the glassware was legitimate. The decor is intentional. Books tucked into corners. Stags mounted on the wall. Nothing feels store-bought or trendy. It's immersive without trying too hard. The seats were not overstuffed contemporary types nor were the tables or even foot stools. They all looked like they came from a speak easy back in the day. About the only thing that did not look like the real thing were the patrons, as they were dressed casually, and of course the iPhones. I suppose that would have caused quite a ruckus during prohibition! Conversations are constant, layered over each other and laughter. It gets loud, but not obnoxious. There's a rhythm to the space that holds. My suggestion is to not go at 7pm on a Saturday and hope to get a prized table, couch or seat. Now, to the drinks. House Divided serves anything you ask for, but they lean into the theme. Classic cocktails done right. Throwbacks with historical lean. Creative new entries like lavender martinis that aren't just gimmicks. Each drink feels made by someone who knows what they're doing and takes pride in the process. This is not vodka-soda speed bar territory. It's craft, and it shows. I did not see a bottle of ocean spray anywhere, but what I did see were large glass bottles labeled with the juice or concoction held within. The little details are obvious! If I were to translate my usual framework:    *   Ambiance and Service: 4 stars (it can get loud and if you are here to have a conversation it will be difficult)    *   Quality: 5 stars- I had a simple drink - vodka and cranberry. With something "special" that the tender added. I don't know what it was, but the taste was wonderful! Way different than my standard go to!    *   Value? That depends on whether you're measuring price per ounce, or the fact that you just got to walk through a green door into another world. But in reality, 5 stars. Do I wish for more seating? Yes. Perhaps more quiet? Yes. But if it were those things, would it be the same? No. My guess is going on a Saturday at 7pm is going to be a bit crowded, and loud. That's my fault, and testament to their quality. Next, I found the staff to be great! Even the doorman gave it character, cowboy hat and boots and all! Great experience!

Who doesn't love the idea of a speakeasy?? We decided to head to Roseville in pursuit of a secret place. We found the secret door, knocked, and a young man answered. He asked for the password. Unfortunately I am not on social media and that's where you're supposed to find it. Bummer! I decided to use my own password. It worked and we entered the inner sanctum. It was a cool, smallish place with nice decor. The bar was the first thing we saw. I looked around to see a few tables and couches to the left. It was pretty early and there were only a few people there so we got a cozy little table in front of a velvety couch. I went to the bar where a burly tattooed OG bartender greeted me. I ordered an old fashioned and a raspberry lemon drop. My old fashioned was done very well. I'm on an old fashioned kick right now and love to try them at different places that look like they know how to make them. This one was really good. My friend wasn't so keen on her lemon drop, saying the lavender was a bit overpowering. We had another round and this time she had something different that she enjoyed. My second old fashioned was just as good as the first. It was getting later and more people happened to have the password and it was getting crowded. We were done, paid the tab, which wasn't bad considering how most speakeasy's can be pretty pricy. Overall, it was a great experience, the place was nice, friendly, and the drinks were done well. Give it a shot. Find the password, or use your own if you dare!

Large bar, pool table, lots of TVs, patio area. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. I guess the biggest complaint I've seen was they charge $5.50 fee if you use a credit card. If that bothers you then bring cash. Good crowd and atmosphere for the football game I was there to watch. Wasn't much of a dive at all. Great bar. I will be back.

I have to say I was impressed !!! So they don't have a menu but they have very good liquor at the bar. They had one of my favorite beers from revision which is called Reno as F .. They have Pool tables and a music player where u can pay for the songs you want . I like the music people were selecting my group of friends even danced and sang to most of them . This establishment was pretty clean and organized the restrooms are nice and clean lol . Sorry but it matters . It was a good crowd of people . The bartenders were all very friendly. This place gets pretty packed and the music is loud. I have to say that is what I like about it . Fun fact this is one of the oldest bar in Placer County. Family owned for more then 100 years . Overall we had a blast here last night . I loved the music and the vibe . Prices are super reasonable . I had a great time with a lot of my friends . I would definitely come back for some more fun in the future.
