The food is pretty good and they offer music on Monday and Tuesday nights.. the atmosphere is casual and everyone is very nice. It is a dive bar, but a fun bar. Service is good.

Dive Bar in Roseville CA Once my friend mentioned that Almond Tree offered Loco Moco on their breakfast menu I had a spur of the moment craving for this Hawaiian dish... in 30 mins or so we were both sitting inside a dimly lit dive bar. I'm just glad Belinda was game and kept me company LoL! We met at around 5:15p and the tables were pretty empty. Oh the place wasn't empty, there were people alright... they were either around the bar area or inside the enclosed smoking room. This dive bar is known as the "Cheers Bar of Roseville." Although I wanted to try some apps from their Happy Hour menu I really came here for the Loco Moco. Happy Hour is Mon - Fri 3pm - 6pm and Late Night Happy Hour from Midnight - 2am. Loco Moco: the presentation was pretty and some of the locals even came up to us curious asking what it was. The portion was just right for the price of $14. Everything was good except we both agreed that the meat was a little tough. It is usually served during breakfast but just so happens the cook that makes it was there tonight so we were able to order it. Our waitress came by to take our orders. She was nice and friendly but we saw her far and few in between. She was also the bartender so she was busy. No entertainment on this Wednesday evening... I'm not sure when they have their karaoke and dance nights. Maybe Belinda and I will join their karaoke one night. NOT. Review #2767

"Meet me at the tree!" It'll be epic. Best dive in Roseville by a mile. Karaoke Wednesday through Sunday, good food, and good drinkies too! They have an indoor smoking area, completely sequestered from the rest of the bar, for those to partake. I've yet to come back here with a cigar but one day! ;-) I was first introduced to this place a few years back when we had an after party here with a big group of folks. The Tree is more than capable of handling such a group but I do warn on weekend evenings it gets packed once 8 pm rolls around, especially with the dance floor and karaoke. AND the promise of bomb ass food including wangs, pizza, various fried apps, and steak! I generally enjoy coming here. The crowd is usually easygoing regulars, the drinks are cheap, the bartenders are brilliant and quick with the refills, and there's plenty of room to sit at the bar or at tables. They even have a few games to play and a couple TVs for sportsball. This is a dive that has a little of everything. Good times. Good memories. Thanks, Tree! PS Clean bathrooms and big parking lot

Ribeye steak sandwich. No joke.

Steak sandwich is da bomb. Gotta get it. I need to come here hungry and try the steak dinner too reasonably priced ribeye. Drinks are cheap and bartenders are friendly. Mixed patronage but everyone is polite. Karaoke can get cracking and loud.

Ribeye sandwich!!!!!!!!!!!

Almond Tree Grill and Lounge has been a favorite entertainment destination for Roseville locals for many years.

It's been so fun every time we've been there but we've had some issues with being double charged. If it wasn't for that we'd love it here!

Regulars not very friendly to the newbie's. Bartenders enable it by sitting by and watching without doing anything.

Large bar, pool table, lots of TVs, patio area. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. I guess the biggest complaint I've seen was they charge $5.50 fee if you use a credit card. If that bothers you then bring cash. Good crowd and atmosphere for the football game I was there to watch. Wasn't much of a dive at all. Great bar. I will be back.

I have to say I was impressed !!! So they don't have a menu but they have very good liquor at the bar. They had one of my favorite beers from revision which is called Reno as F .. They have Pool tables and a music player where u can pay for the songs you want . I like the music people were selecting my group of friends even danced and sang to most of them . This establishment was pretty clean and organized the restrooms are nice and clean lol . Sorry but it matters . It was a good crowd of people . The bartenders were all very friendly. This place gets pretty packed and the music is loud. I have to say that is what I like about it . Fun fact this is one of the oldest bar in Placer County. Family owned for more then 100 years . Overall we had a blast here last night . I loved the music and the vibe . Prices are super reasonable . I had a great time with a lot of my friends . I would definitely come back for some more fun in the future. Tucked behind an unassuming alley in Old Roseville sits a green door marked only with the number…read more323. No signs. No bell. No sliding peek window. No sound leaking through the walls. You'd be forgiven for thinking you were in the wrong place or about to make a mistake and put yourself into a sketchy place. We looked around for a more "realistic" entry way not knowing the most realistic entry way is one that looks like a back door to a closed vacuum or furniture storefront. That's exactly the point. You knock. Immediately, the door opens. A man in a cowboy hat looks you over. He doesn't wear a name tag. He doesn't need one. He asks, "You have something to say?" If you've done your homework, and say the right thing, the door stays open. You're in. I do not know what happens if you do not have the word. What follows is less a bar and more a pocket of time. The interior is small but well conceived. The bar sits directly at the entrance, flanked by a few standing guests and several small tables. Beyond that, the space opens up into a lounge with seating for six to eight, and a longer bench-style area for a dozen or so. The walls are dark, the lighting low. It's the kind of place that feels like it remembers what Prohibition was, even if most of us never lived it. It felt like walking onto a movie set where we might be extras, and the main characters would enter and play out a scene. It was a perfect example of a speak easy in full swing. Even the glassware was legitimate. The decor is intentional. Books tucked into corners. Stags mounted on the wall. Nothing feels store-bought or trendy. It's immersive without trying too hard. The seats were not overstuffed contemporary types nor were the tables or even foot stools. They all looked like they came from a speak easy back in the day. About the only thing that did not look like the real thing were the patrons, as they were dressed casually, and of course the iPhones. I suppose that would have caused quite a ruckus during prohibition! Conversations are constant, layered over each other and laughter. It gets loud, but not obnoxious. There's a rhythm to the space that holds. My suggestion is to not go at 7pm on a Saturday and hope to get a prized table, couch or seat. Now, to the drinks. House Divided serves anything you ask for, but they lean into the theme. Classic cocktails done right. Throwbacks with historical lean. Creative new entries like lavender martinis that aren't just gimmicks. Each drink feels made by someone who knows what they're doing and takes pride in the process. This is not vodka-soda speed bar territory. It's craft, and it shows. I did not see a bottle of ocean spray anywhere, but what I did see were large glass bottles labeled with the juice or concoction held within. The little details are obvious! If I were to translate my usual framework:    *   Ambiance and Service: 4 stars (it can get loud and if you are here to have a conversation it will be difficult)    *   Quality: 5 stars- I had a simple drink - vodka and cranberry. With something "special" that the tender added. I don't know what it was, but the taste was wonderful! Way different than my standard go to!    *   Value? That depends on whether you're measuring price per ounce, or the fact that you just got to walk through a green door into another world. But in reality, 5 stars. Do I wish for more seating? Yes. Perhaps more quiet? Yes. But if it were those things, would it be the same? No. My guess is going on a Saturday at 7pm is going to be a bit crowded, and loud. That's my fault, and testament to their quality. Next, I found the staff to be great! Even the doorman gave it character, cowboy hat and boots and all! Great experience!

Who doesn't love the idea of a speakeasy?? We decided to head to Roseville in pursuit of a secret place. We found the secret door, knocked, and a young man answered. He asked for the password. Unfortunately I am not on social media and that's where you're supposed to find it. Bummer! I decided to use my own password. It worked and we entered the inner sanctum. It was a cool, smallish place with nice decor. The bar was the first thing we saw. I looked around to see a few tables and couches to the left. It was pretty early and there were only a few people there so we got a cozy little table in front of a velvety couch. I went to the bar where a burly tattooed OG bartender greeted me. I ordered an old fashioned and a raspberry lemon drop. My old fashioned was done very well. I'm on an old fashioned kick right now and love to try them at different places that look like they know how to make them. This one was really good. My friend wasn't so keen on her lemon drop, saying the lavender was a bit overpowering. We had another round and this time she had something different that she enjoyed. My second old fashioned was just as good as the first. It was getting later and more people happened to have the password and it was getting crowded. We were done, paid the tab, which wasn't bad considering how most speakeasy's can be pretty pricy. Overall, it was a great experience, the place was nice, friendly, and the drinks were done well. Give it a shot. Find the password, or use your own if you dare!

Now we did wait a little while for anyone to come up to us, but we were very aware of the two people only servicing the whole place. The main bartender kept glancing at us to basically let us know he sees us but we could clearly see he was helping LOTS of people. When Nick came over to greet us, he was extremely kind and helpful. We thanked him for his effort to tend to everyone in a quick as he could manner. We weren't in a rush so we didn't mind. The place is a typical sports bar with tvs playing sports and a few games such as pool, etc. it's a tad dark in there, but hey, it's a sports bar. What are you expecting? The drinks came out quick. And so did the food. We ordered beer and a sea breeze cocktail (I wasn't a big fan of- not because the bartender did anything wrong, I just didn't like the flavors) but nonetheless the beer was cold and good. We ordered off the happy hour menu and we got a pepperoni pizza, chicken tenders and fries, blu cheese fire fries, onion rings and a wedge salad. I enjoy a nice refreshing wedge salad with blu cheese dressing and this was exactly what I wanted! The fire fries had a little kick and had buffalo sauce with blu cheese crumbles on it. Tasty with a cold beer. Everything was pretty good. We will definitely be back and try other items. Hopefully we stop in on a day when Nick is in again, he definitely made our experience great.
