The kaiser bun is so soft, the meat is freshly sliced then stacked high, options of mustard, cheeses, lettuce and tomato. It is quite the exercise for old jaw to unhinge to its max to make way for enjoyment of his meat combos. His famous Roast Beef is cooked to a rare-medium, not well done like at the supermarket. I would have preferred a horseradish Mayo instead of the mustard, maybe you can ask if that's an option on your next visit. The Fight Club is an assortment of meats, and for $8.50 it's a great deal. Now these are not Foodie sandwiches, nothing extra unique to be discovered, it's just fresh, quality and made with a smile for you. They also sell frozen meals and soups to go. I have a heavy tray of Eggplant Parm in the freezer, will comment on that after it's gets baked. I'm ordering a sandwich platter for a potluck, he makes the traditional sliced bread, deli meat triangles or sliders from his wall menu(these are $3.50 each).

Super homey feeling and the blackboard styled menu was cool. Owner seemed nice as well. For my order I got takeout on the Friday special - Hot roast beef sandwich ($8) and a chicken samosa ($2). I think I enjoyed the sandwich a decent bit. Definitely fair priced and came with lettuce, onions, and cheese. However, the sandwich was super greasy and when we ordered, he just microwaved it lol. At least subway will put it in an oven. The samosa was pretty tasty though. Overall, I think my experience lacked a bit but maybe their cold roast beef is better (but it also wasn't available when I went). 3.5/5 stars.

The interior of the restaurant was spacious and comfortable. We received a warm welcome by the amiably attentive staff from the moment we entered. We placed our order immediately - falafels, hummus, labneh, moutabbal, and arnabeet - and didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. We were given two freshly baked steaming hot homemade pitas which came straight from their stone oven. The food here is very good. The falafels were deliciously made with ground chickpeas, super seasoned with fresh herbs. They were scrumptiously salty, fried to a crispy golden brown, topped with sesame seeds and served with a tahini dip. Next was the fried cauliflower which was tossed in a tahini-garlic sauce and drizzled with copious amounts of sour lemon. The sour lemony taste of the arnabeet served as a counterpoint to the salty flavour of the crunchy falafels. Served with fresh baked pita bread came the delightful hummus, labneh, moutabbal dips. The moutabbal was exceptionally tasty made with fire roasted eggplant, blended with tahini-garlic topped with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and jewelled with a sprinkling of pomegranate seeds. The hummus was an excellently smooth blend of chickpeas and creamy tahini. A solid choice. The labneh pressed yogurt mixed with garlic, drizzled with olive oil and topped with zaatar seasoning of thyme and sesame seeds. Their dessert section appealed to me, particularly the Lebanese Kinafe boat made from shredded vermicelli filled with cheese baked and drizzled with sweet rose blossom syrup, served in a freshly baked sesame pie. I am already planning what to try out for my next visit - the Paramount Special Drink of mango/strawberry juice and chopped tropical fresh fruits with strawberry, kiwi, pineapple, topped with almonds, pistachios, ashta cream and honey. Amazing restaurant for delicious middle eastern food, clean comfortable dining atmosphere and excellent service. Thankful that they are open late until 10 PM on weekdays and until 11 PM on weekends.

We had called prior to ask if they took reservations and they said not unless it was for a very big group. I was familiar with the franchise and knew what I wanted to order. We got a chicken shawarma wrap, a mixed combo entree and a beef hummus. The beef hummus was as I expected. Good amount of meat and super flavorful. Really enjoyed it with the pita. The chicken wrap was a little disappointing - it was a bit dry and a bit smaller than expected. The mixed combo grill tasted great - with kafta, beef and chicken. It did feel a little overpriced at nearly $30 but it was tasty. The service was so so. It was very comfortable seating as it wasn't busy. We were checked on maybe once and it was hard to flag someone down to get a refill of water (which didn't happen). Overall was a decent experience and would come back.

My first experience wasn't the best. The business made things better when I went back a second time, but it does take a bad first experience to deter me from being a return customer. I have been driving along Markham Road (highway 48) weekly. I flagged getting takeout for dinner here a couple of Wednesdays ago. After getting groceries in Whitchurch-Stouffville, I ordered food from this Osmow's through my Uber Eats app. I got mixed proteins (chicken and beef shawarma) on fattoush salad, with garlic sauce and tahini. I tend to like anything on salad in general, but I crave salad a lot these days. My order was estimated to be ready in 25 minutes. I knew that I would arrive early with my lead foot, so I stopped by Chatime nearby to pick up some bubble tea. Osmow's is steps away from Firehouse Subs. I backed into a spot in front of Osmow's main entrance and walked in. It is strictly takeout from this eatery. All tables and chairs are stacked away in a small corner of the store. I had a nice man help me. I showed him my Uber Eats order number at the counter. He fetched my order that was in a plastic bag. I thanked him and headed out the door. When I got home, I put away my groceries and then had dinner. I like that the container keeping my food safe was compostable. I also got cutlery and napkins in my plastic bag. My mix proteins on salad was yummy. I loved the morsels of tender chicken and beef shawarma. The garlic sauce and tahini were full of flavour. I went with no spice. At Osmow's, it can get super spicy if you go hot. The fattoush salad was fresh. The iceberg lettuce was crispy even with the sauces and proteins on top. I enjoyed the ripe tomatoes, onions, green peppers, and cucumbers in this salad. I did ask that the crispy pita croutons be held. They were. Yay! I devoured my meal. It was so good. My tummy and I were happy. I have found an Osmow's location in Markham that I like. I look forward to trying more food items off the menu. I am eyeing the lamb salad next. (205)

Heads-up to fellow Americans: If you're visiting from the United States, bring Canadian cash! Credit and debit cards issued in the United States are not accepted here. Nonetheless, the staff was really helpful and attentive while explaining their payment procedure. They walked me through the alternatives with no haste or attitude, which made the experience even more inviting. I ordered the Sultani Plate, which included a skewer of tender koobideh and a perfectly grilled barg kabob. The meat was juicy, tasty, and beautifully grilled. The rice was buttery and fragrant, and the side salad provided a welcome fresh crunch. My wife and kids chose the Chicken Chapli Kabab Plate, and we were all impressed. The patties were juicy, seasoned just right, and went perfectly with the rice and naan. It's a terrific choice for both adults and children, as it's tasty but not overly spicy. We also got Mango Shakes and bottled water. The shakes were thick and creamy, with a tropical sweetness that complemented the savory foods well. A terrific way to calm down and finish the meal. Atmosphere-wise, the setting was clean, family-friendly, and busy--but service was efficient. You could tell this place is popular among locals, and for good reason. Whether you're a local or a guest, Bamiyan Kabob is a must-stop for anyone looking for hearty, tasty Afghan cuisine delivered with real friendliness. Just don't forget your Canadian dollars!
