Best value (2 dinner plates for $16, 2 sandwiches for $10) and by far the most toppings for no additional charge. Go over to Ali babas across the street and you'll see what I mean. They even have a sour mango sauce that really balances the flavours. Service is slightly on the slow side as they seem to cook the chicken in batches, which isn't a bad thing if you're looking for fresh. I like Shawarma a lot and I wanted something that was a little fresher with more vegetables. I'm fairness it was a Sunday afternoon but nothing looked fresh. Everything was stale and the wrap fell apart as soon as I went to eat it, making the sandwich/wrap inedible without a fork, which I didn't have. So the guy at the counter was nice but the food was so poor I'll never return. Nearly everything looked like it had been sitting around all day long. read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk past but i was tired of everything else on Bloor . I got the large chicken shawarma and wow - it's hugeeee and very filling . could barely finish it in one sitting . i only added lettuce , tomatoes and rice (i skipped out on the veggies and cabbage but trust , he has a nice selection of things to go into the shawarma). I don't know what the hell happed to our order tonight. From the reviews I thought this place was worth a try. We ordered from them on DoorDash. We ordered Family meal deal which comes with : 2 rice 2 salad (I chose garden and Greek) Hummus, garlic and pita And garlic potatoes came with it I also ordered baba ganoush and lentil soup Delivery driver told me that the staff member wouldn't give her the second can of pop. I opened up the rest of the food and this is what I found: -lentil soup missing -second can of pop missing -potato's missing -tabouli instead of Greek salad - an unidentifiable item that should have been the baba ganoush but was rather canned tomatoes dumped into a styrofoam container with pieces of eggplant skin. There was zero seasoning also. I couldnt believe how bad they botched this. Only when I could bring myself to even try the food did I realize how garbage it was. Zero dressing on the half ass chopped up vegetables that they call salad, the rice was so so bland and cold. I can't even keep writing because of how upset I am. I can't believe a company using a third party deliverer would totally take advantage of that and just give us whatever they felt like giving us instead of what we ordered. A horrible experience. I will never order from here again. It's sad because I was really looking forward to trying a new shawarma place. read more

Had the chicken shawarma wrap and really enjoyed it! The owner suggested having rice in it, and it was quite good! You can smell what's been cooking as soon as you walk in... The shawarma roasting, and all the spices... It's lovely. The staff is friendly, and welcoming, and the service is fast. It isn't the kind of place where you'd sit for very long though - more of a place to have a quick bite or get take out. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. Will be back soon. read more

Good food at a great price. Great specials if you buy 2 or 4 sandwiches. Can't go wrong with for 2 falafel wraps for $6.99 or shawarma wraps for $9.99! The staff are nice and the place is easy to get to. Just across the street from Runnymede station. I will be visiting more often. read more

I ordered from this restaurant off of Uber Eats and received the wrong order. When I called to tell them this and get what I ordered, they insisted that I had my order wrong, despite the fact that I was looking at my order while I talked to them on the phone. This place gets 5 stars and beyond! I shouldn't admit how many times my boyfriend and I have eaten here but we can't get enough. The owner told us recently that we're their best customer...it's that much. In my defense, they have a special for 2 falafel for under $7. It's by far the best deal around! I can say without a doubt I've eaten more than 100 falafel wraps from here and it's still my go-to place, so take that as you may. Recommend, recommend, recommend! read more

Not at all in consistency firstly, months back because of stale pita stopped petronaging this place. Today picked up a Family Deal. missing two pops. gave one pita only under chicken for FAMILY MEAL. For Hummus he couldn't find proper container. made three smallest container but found two lids,so ended up placing two smallest only in bag. that also stale and it was good he didn,t find lids to put third one in my bag. Walked by many times thinking another run-of-the mill place, until, as a spur of the moment thing, I popped in with a friend and we were both really pleasantly surprised.
