We ordered food to go. They gave me an estimate of 40 minutes and clearly it was ready long before that. When we got there, the food was not under a warmer. Everything we've ordered was cold. I couldn't find the restaurant in the shopping center. I had to call them. When we walked in, I was greeted to ask if I had to go order and I was asked to provide proof of my order which is fine, but the staff was extremely rude. I thought I had ordered a salad and when I asked the girl she said "no you didn't" in a very rude manner and very poor customer service. The food was terrible. We ordered a supreme pizza and the toppings tasted frozen. The pizza was undercooked. I ordered buffalo wings. They came with no sauce on them. So, the last, last time I visited Long Wong's, they gave me the wrong order. Which was upsetting because I was looking forward to my comfort food after a long, exhausting day. However, whatever that was, was DELICIOUS! Sadly, I don't know what flavor it was lol it was a dozen wings, all flats, extra wet. But, I couldn't tell if the sauce was like a honey BBQ or maybe a Teriyaki...? I have no idea. But, it was soooo tasty, and I would love to find out! Pretty solid place if you're looking for basic wings with great flavor. Wasn't too busy, but a nice pseudo sports bar vibe. My son and I saw the billboard on the other side of the street and decided that we would try it, even though they 'claimed' to have the best wings. My son bought curly cheese fries and mild hot wings. First of all, the fries were skinny and burnt. I asked my son if that was normal. Whether it was normal or not, they were nasty. I discovered the next day, after being super hungry, that the fries had chili at the bottom of them. The chili didn't taste like chili and the fries were still burnt. The wings were standard. If you like school cafeteria food, this is the place to go. A bit pricey and not worth what they charge. We ordered the pizza with wings combo and a BLT. The cheese slid right off the pizza. It had waaaay too much sauce. Wings are good. Some people have complained they are over done. But I like them crunchy. To me, they are good. But the BLT came with a side of fries, they were definitely sitting under a heat lamp for hours. They were all wrinkly and dried up. We also got 2 large sodas. I would assume so by all the "Best of Phoenix" stuff on the walls and just like all the rest, this one is in a seedy location and nowhere near clean by any standard. In fact, I'm sure if I saw the Kitchen area I would never eat at another Long Wongs, but I digress. Back to the review. I learned today that you can say "Heaven and Hell" another way by using "Chili Cheese Fries". Why Heaven and Hell you ask? Heaven because of the way they taste and Hell for the mess and calorie count they must surely contain.
