I really had a good experience here. Love the ambiance, and the staff was great. I didn't even have to ask for extra crispy lol he just knew I enjoyed the kool aid. Wasn't overly sweet. The fries was so freaking good and fresh omg. I don't live in AZ but I'm craving them right now. Next time in AZ will be heading back!

We ordered for pick up 24 bone in wings today , 4 sauces. They were so dry and over cooked that we could not even eat them ( although we tried ) We had been here A few months back and we're very impressed not only by the flavor and juiciness, but also the size of the wings ( they were the largest wings we had ever seen) so we were looking forward to these tonight . Very , very disappointed they were small and so hard in spots that we could not bite into them. Such A waste of money ! There are plenty of other wing places that are so much better , quality of the food and price. We will not be coming back.

We got a 12 piece, half buffalo medium and half lemon pepper, plus some fries. The wings were very good, they were crispy and hot! The sauces were delicious! The fries were hot and seasoned well, we also got a good amount for what we paid. Overall the experience was great as the staff was kind and personable!

The lemon, honey, pepper water down wings

Took a friend of mine Home is from North Carolina, was bragging about the wings get there ask for lemon, honey, pepper wings only to know six count only to know later after tasting them, there was just lemon pepper wings and rich was too salty. I had her honey, lemon pepper wings the waitress drizzle honey on top of the wings. We're just totally gross asking him to be replaced. She took him in the back it seemed to me she at a little water to the sauce, and that was it. These rings was totally disgusting. The fries was pretty good but the wings that I had I end up throwing them away because the waitress will refuse to make it right

    Big load

I was greeted at the door with awesome smile and eagerness to be welcomed, I ordered the Big load which gives you a variety of options from wings, tenders, mozzarella sticks and onion rings. They nailed every single one of em perfectly and that's not exaggerating my experience here, but let me tell you the hottest buffalo wing flavor had me with the hiccups lol but I couldn't put em down man they were delicious! Sry if my photo doesn't do justice but you just have to try it for yourself. Food and service is bussin!!!

    Chicken Tenders
    Jason K.

These are the tenders. Limp, mushy slabs of chicken with wet breading straight out of a bag of frozen trash. At least the hot sauce was appropriately hot and the two women working there were very pleasant and helpful. Food sucks though.

    Lemon pepper, 5 Tenders
    Sierra U.

Chicken was nicely seasoned but they didn't let the oil drain off the tenders in the fryer basket or something because there was a thick layer of grease at the bottom of the box. My onion rings on the side were kinda burnt so didn't eat most of them.

Great food awesome customer service. It was a pleasure to visit this establishment. The small big load is what I had for lunch. The lemon pepper wings was fire! Great season, great crunch and the meat was tender A++

Great music playing in the background set the mood, songs like Knock Three Times and Song Sung Blue by Neil Diamond. The lady who helped me place my order, possibly the owner, was so sweet. Patient too, as I made my selections. It was hard to choose what to get as the shop has so many appetizing sweet and savory options on the menu. I ended up getting a chocolate milkshake and a 6-pack of oatmeal cookies I was able to take home and share, including chocolate chip (no nuts), chocolate walnut, peanut butter dark chocolate cashew, dark chocolate pecan, dark chocolate cashew, and oatmeal raisin with pecans (they have a nut-free version too). The taste of everything was phenomenal. The shake had the perfect consistency and a strong chocolatey flavor, yet wasn't too sweet. And the cookies were nice and chewy and loaded with delicious chunks of nuts and chocolate. Honestly, I couldn't really tell the difference between the nut and chocolate combo flavors as the oatmeal was really the highlight. The peanut butter one and oatmeal raisin were more recognizable. ALL of them were amazing!

I tried the sugar‑free dark chocolate goji berry gluten‑free cookie and WOW--it was delicious. The milkshakes are next‑level rich and creamy; my son couldn't get enough of his caramel shake. The savory lunch items looked so good coming out--perfect comfort‑food options that smelled amazing and made us immediately start planning our next visit. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient, which we really appreciated since it was our first time and we took a while to decide. This place has such a fun, cozy, welcoming vibe, and we are absolutely coming back to try the lunch menu next time. Highly recommend checking it out!

I recently had to be in the downtown Glendale area - the Yelp machine recommended I hit up Blue Corn Cafe. There's some development / construction in the downtown area so parking is a little limited. However - I was able to snag a spot right along 58th Ave and get a good view of all the cute shops to check out at a later date. Blue Corn was surprisingly busy that morning due to hosting a Coffee with Cops event. I got the low down from a few of the GPD staff that they are consistently rated as one of the best cafes in the city, maybe even the West Valley. They have recently-ish opened up a second location in DT Mesa, which definitely fits their vibe. I was told the owner gets up early every day to bake - I love the dedication to his craft. Like many mom and pops, there are times when quantities are limited. So ofc I had to buy some baked goods to go for my work team! Their muffins are HUGE - like 2 -3 servings per *singular* muffin. I didn't know what I was getting into when I bought 6... hello carb heaven for us. I noticed a lot of sweet and savory options - croissant sandwiches, cookies, you name it. Definitely the muffins were well-enjoyed by all (PSL, lemon-blueberry, red velvet), and the general consensus was lemon blueberry as the winner. It's a small space with not a lot of seating options however there appears to be a back patio that might be shared with other restaurants. I couldn't get a view on my way out. Cannot wait for the next time that I'm in the area to grab more sweets!

This was my first stop, and I'm so glad it was. The café itself is absolutely charming--spacious, clean, and with plenty of seating. But what stood out immediately was the customer service. From the moment I walked in, everyone was smiling. You can tell this is a team that genuinely enjoys what they do. Despite the line, they were patient, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Their coffee selection is wide but not overwhelming. . I went with the matcha latte with pistachio, which was well-balanced. When it came to food, I couldn't decide between my usual go-to (broccoli and cheese quiche) or the bacon, spinach, and cheddar--or even the tomato basil, which sounded amazing. I asked the barista/ server to choose for me, and she recommended the bacon, spinach, and cheddar. It did not disappoint. The crust was thick and perfectly done, and the filling was layered and flavorful--just incredible. I also ordered an ube muffin and was given a complimentary lemon tart (no complaints here!). The ube muffin was exactly what you'd hope for--lightly sweet with a delicate blend of vanilla, nutty notes, and a hint of coconut. The lemon tart was perfectly balanced--bright, slightly tart, and complemented beautifully by the whipped topping. Before leaving, I grabbed a loaf of sourdough to go. They even offered to slice it for me--small detail, big win. And I have to say, coming from San Francisco, I do not say this lightly: this is hands-down some of the best sourdough I've had outside of San Francisco. Honestly worth the 45-minute drive just for that alone. I come from a background in the restaurant industry, and great service doesn't go unnoticed. Everyone here was attentive, kind, and truly invested in the experience they provide. The customer service alone is worth the visit. They so offer Panini's and daily soups.. Their menu changes daily. They also offer Louisiana hot sauce so someone knows what they're doing. I can't wait to bring my kids here next time. We will absolutely be back.

I finally got the one that is daily up for grans, and I was so excited! My sister and I can't figure out why there's only one bag per day, but it's very coveted so we were excited to see what was actually inside! We walked in to the bakery with the intention of ordering more treats, in addition to what was in the too good to go surprise. When we walked in, it was 10:05, and they closed at 10:30. They had already put away half of their gelato and baked goods in the cabinet. There were three parties of people that walked in while we were in there and then sitting out on the really nice patio. It happened to be a little under twenty minutes away from us so we decided let's do it & they were open late. Hell yeah. There's not a crazy amount of pastries but the selection was great. We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. Perfectly chilled, the dusting of the cocoa powder didn't taste like nesquik--incredible. At first the price had me thinking if we were doing too much, like damn, should we have just gone to Sprouts bakery? But after being able to indulge in a great quality dessert, it was worth every dollar. My only feedback, careful when you're paying at the register. If you're not paying attention, the tip automatically defaults to 18% on the tablet. Only thing I didn't care for. I could see if I was eating at the restaurant, but I just popped in to take pastries to go. So, that was kind of annoying. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert!
