Half sheet size

We love going here for all our special occasions because they make the best cake. They never skimp on the fruits and the pastry/sponge cake combo is the best! Service is quick and easy, you can pre order or just come that day and they usually have cakes available. Parking is a bit hectic on the weekends but I never have trouble finding a spot.

**December 2025: Sunday Afternoon Visit** My dad asked me to purchase a cake for my mom's milestone birthday and since most of the guests were boomer age I figured it was best to get a cake that was Asian approved. I called Long Phung Bakery to inquire about ordering and pricing a couple days before, and thankfully they were able to accomodate my request. I order a 1/4 sheet fruit cake in the past, but honestly could not remember anything about the ordering process. The woman who picked up the phone spoke Vietnamese and English, and informed me that they accepted cash and credit card. They regularly have 1/4 size fruitcakes, but advise to call ahead if you have 1/2 sheet or larger. I was advised to get a 1/2 sheet fruit cake ($80) for my party of 20. Honestly, I think the 1/2 sheet probably feeds more like 50 people or I guess 20 individual who skip the main course and have jumbo sweet tooth. A 1/4 sheet would have been more than enough. Taste wise there was a lot of fruit and for a cake that size I think it was really affordable. They will hand pipe the message on the white strip in the middle of the cake when you pickup. They also sell orchids, which I think in the future I'll plan to purchase for gifts. Small $12 Larger $15-$20 Arrangements $110+ Parking can be hit or miss. This spot is located in a busy part of Westminster and the drivers can be very aggressive. Summary: Overall, I think it's a great place to celebrate any milestone!

I gave this place a try after hearing great reviews about their fruit cakes! I called a few days before my designated date for pickup and called the number on Google however the lady on the phone said that it was wrong number! Beware of that, and I looked on their yelp and did noticed a different number provided which I then called and was able to place an order for a 1/2 sheet cake. It was an easy and nice experience, the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I'd definitely come back again if I ever have another event to host in the nearby area. I enjoyed the assorted fresh fruits with the layers of puff pastry and custard inside.

Ordered a cake for my son's first birthday party. I called and placed an order over the phone. I was unsure of the size to get so I asked how many people the half sheet cake feeds and was told it was 20-30 people. For the 3/4 sheet I was told 40-50 people. I figure 3/4 sheet cake would be good enough because in had 50+ guests. I give them my name and number so I can pickup the next day. Tell me why when I go to pickup the cake it is humongous and weighs a ton?! It's huuuuuge and really long. So long it does not fit into my fridge unfortunately. We had to leave it sitting out for a bit to enjoy it but it was still good!! The cake was a hit with my guests and they loved it! So the lesson learned is order the half cake sheet next time. Still highly recommend this place.

Thank you for beautiful and delicious cakes for all of my parties. The fruits are fresh and they have vibrant colors. The staff are very sweet and they always add emojis on the cake. See you at our next events!

Love their fruit cakes here! I love that it's not just the puff pastry but there's a layer of actual cake! Def give them a try!

Wow, this is one of the best fruit cake bakeries in SoCal. The small cake is $45 and it's just loaded, absolutely loaded with fruit. We had fruit spilling all over the place when we were cutting the cake. We celebrate holidays a bit out of order.... For instance we just celebrated Mother's Day on Memorial Day, but regardless of what we are celebrating, if we need a cake, we usually go here. In addition to the bountiful amount of strawberries, peaches, kiwi, mango, cherries and whatever other fruit is in season, the cake comes with a crispy puff pastry layer, a good amount of cake layer, and ample whip cream and pastry cream to tie it all together. A crowd pleaser. The store is also a flower shop! Casual. Parking can be difficult. Please come and create your own adventure.

The best damn cake I ever had. I waited so long for my birthday to come around so my girlfriend could get me this. They also take walk-ins and apparently make these cakes all throughout the day. Parking sucks also btw.

Came by this bakery to pick up a 1/4th sheet cake with fruit. We have purchased cakes from here several times before and they are not overly sweet and delicious!! Service is usually quick.

We originally thought we'd go the traditional American cake route for our wedding, but honestly, it just wasn't us. So we went back to what we know and love: Asian sponge cakes with fresh fruit and that nostalgic crisp in the middle. From the very beginning, Tina and her team were so accommodating. They even delivered to our venue in Fallbrook outside of their normal delivery times, which we can't thank them enough for. The taste was exactly what we hoped for: that light, airy sponge that isn't overly sweet, layered with fresh sugared fruit and crunch. All our guests loved it with some who grew up with this style of cake, and others who were trying it for the very first time and couldn't stop raving about it. But the best part? Their artistry. We gave them an inspiration photo of a classic vintage full sheet cake with lots of piping and the clear red piping for the words, just like our parents' wedding cakes from back in the day. They absolutely nailed it. Not only was it delicious, but it was deeply meaningful to see those memories carried forward into our own wedding. If you're considering them for your special occasion, do it. Please check out the photos to see exactly what I mean!

Quarter size cake, $45. November 2024.

Ordered a cake most recently this past weekend and it came just as how I expected-- tons of fresh fruit (no grapes!), fresh icing, a crispy puff pastry layer, and a moist sponge cake layer. Trust me, I've tried many Asian bakeries in the area and this is the BEST one. The crispy layer contrasted with the delicate sponge cake layer is just chef's kiss. I've never reserved or called ahead for a cake but I might just be lucky. $45 for a quarter size sheet cake, feeds about 10. Or less if you're like me and eat multiple servings. They also sell flowers (I got a pretty orchid for only $7!) and other Asian foods here.

Such beautifully made cakes that's available all day long. No need for advance order. They are family bakers that my family and I have been going to for over 20 years. They also have amazing cream puffs and other snacks. The service is always quick and courteous. The bake shop isn't something you would expect but they keep it clean and easy to pick and choose. Parking can be tough as it is in the same plaza as a baguette shop and a giant supermarket

Do I need to preorder a 1/4 sheet pan cake in advance for Saturday pick up?

Do we need to pre-order durian cake or is it usually available ? If needed to pre-order, how many days in advance?

Definitely pre-order the durian cake.

Are you open on Easter Sunday 4/9? If not, if I buy a cake the day before, will it still be good/fresh the next day?

I don't know for sure if there open. But you can always call and verify if there open that day. Im sure the cake will still be just as delicious the next day

How many people does 1/4 sheet cake serve?

What does fruit cake with cover mean?

The cover is another layer of cake on top of the fruit. The fruit would be sandwiched in between.

Do they take card?

Yes they do take credit card

Do we have to place an order ahead of time or can we just do a walk in?

As with most bakeries, it is always better to order ahead

Van's, pacific, or long phung? I'm not Vietnamese but I'm interested in buying a fruit cake for my Aunt's 75 birthday.

In terms of overall bakery, Vans bakery is better than long phung. I have tried both of these places and you are getting a delicious cake when you buy a cake from Vans. Long Phung only sells fruit cakes and they sell them for an affordable price but… Read more

What's the name of the cake with the cracker in the middle? The one with fruit?

It is called a fruit tart. The cracker is actually puff pastry. Hope it helps.

On the menu there are two prices for the fruit cake. One says "with cover". What does that mean?

An extra cover means another layer of the cake.

I'm thinking about getting a mocha cake for my 16 but idk how it tastes , has anybody tried it?

So she took my order and went next door to charge my card but I didn't know next door was a coffee place guess they link together. Funny thing was she didn't smile and the man who came after me she greeted him with a smile because they are of the same ethnicity. Language wasn't an issue here but to stare at customer like that I'm not coming back there ever again. Even though the cream puffs were so good very soft and not too sweet. I always go by first experience and impression. I will be looking forward other bakery's in Garden Grove.

Their claim to fame, the strawberry croissants, taste as spectacular, light, crispy, airy, and deliciously subtle and fruity as much as the original location. The main problem is they definitely seem to have way less stock on hand, and things can sell out fast. I had to come back another day for my favorite item of theirs, the rusk - extremely light and crunchy bites of buttery sugared mini toast. I buy a bunch of these to take home as souvenirs, as the strawberry croissants obviously need to be eaten ASAP. Their employees were pretty friendly and helpful. I love that they carry bulk platters of their strawberry croissant and have them displayed right as you enter. They also have various other desserts and pastries, even some savory sandwiches and sushi, packaged goods, and coffee. I'm here pretty much just for their strawberry croissants and rusk, though their other items seem nice if you want goods for a convenient picnic.
