Holidays, Birthdays and Special Events simply aren't the same in my family unless there's a Final Touch cake in the mix. Their cakes have become a time honored tradition and it's not just how beautifully they decorate their cakes but the signature buttercream on their traditional layer cakes are like butter. Literally like butter and I'm addicted! The thick layers of buttercream give me those good chills when I take a decadent bite of their indulgent slices of white cake with fresh berries. The berries add just the right amount of acidity to cut into the rich buttery cream frosting. What I like most about the frosting is that it's not too sweet, either. Just right. Every Christmas we order two cakes, a traditional buttercream and berries holiday cake and a Yule Log aka Buche de Noel. The latter is a mocha cream Swiss roll with swirls of mocha buttercream frosting surrounding the roll. It's adorned with ornamental holiday decorations and marks the spirit of the season. I usually enjoy the Yule Log slice with a cup of spiked eggnog. The combo is a holiday match made in heaven! Give these folks a try if you're looking to for an impressive cake for a special occasion. Weddings, Birthdays and Holidays... they do it all! Call in advance and reserve a cake, you won't be disappointed. Wishing Everyone Happy Holiday Eats and a Happy New Year!

Final Touch is our family's go-to bakery! We love their mixed berry cakes - they're always a hit with everyone. The cakes are beautifully decorated. As long as you get one of their standard designs, they're such a great value. Whether it's a special occasion or just a sweet treat, Final Touch does a good job.

ORDER mocha (top) + vanilla w/ mixed berries (bottom) this cake costed around $370. you basically pay for every little thing you add, so the price adds up VERY quickly. for nearly $400, there was nothing special about the cake. however, i liked that it wasn't too sweet. the red dye got everywhereee. gorgeous cake, but definitely on the pricier side. SERVICE you can place an order online through their website / email, however, we always go in store to order ahead of time. ive inquired online before and got responses fairly quickly, but it's always a lot easier to just go in person. AMBIANCE parking is pretty limited, but the store itself is spacious.

Final Touch Bakery used to be my favorite as a kid, so I was excited to revisit! The cake was visually stunning--absolutely beautiful--but the inside was a bit underwhelming. I tried the Bavarian cream with strawberries and vanilla cake, and it wasn't as moist as it should've been. While it was still good, I expected more depth in flavor for the price. Overall, a lovely experience with a gorgeous cake, but I wish it had a bit more to offer.

What I wanted vs what I received. Whoever did this has no taste. Horrendous failure and they charged me $240 for this ugly thing.

Absolutely horrible. We've been going to them for YEARs but in the recent years they've been going downhill. Their cakes have been dry and their designs are getting ugly. I ordered my son's baptism cake here recently and they charged me $240 for this ugly cake. They said they couldn't give me the border design exactly which is fine but the color is so different. The writing is also so ugly, like it was written but a toddler. The color in the inspiration pic is so much lighter and classier. The color in the cake they gave me looks so TACKY. They blamed it on the first picture saying it has filter. If they can't do the color then dont tell me you're able to and then charged me $240 for a cake you couldn't make. Even if you can't replicate the color then at least give me a prettier blue color not this tacky blue. Looks like whoever worked on it has absolutely no taste. They should be fired. This completely ruined my theme. Utterly disappointed in them. I will never ever come back here ever again.

Berry cake is the best

Great service and beautiful cake. Not only beautiful but very quality cake. Highly recommend!

Our favorite bakery for many years but quality control has now become a problem. We ordered a birthday cake that turned out so dry inside that it fell apart with every slice, so sad, just hope that this was an isolated case, not sure if we will ever come back.

My friend gave me a yule log cake and it's beautiful and huge. It's a seasonal cake so make sure you guys check out their store.

Sample cakes! They're so talented at making customized cake - just make sure to order weeks in advance if it's customized!

Final Touch Bakery is my ABSOLUTE favorite place to buy a cake for my loved ones. It's SO good that I bought a cake for my boyfriend's birthday AND another cake for my boyfriend's mom's birthday. Not only that - whenever I have leftover cake, I always rave to my friends to try this place so I'd share my extra leftovers (LOL) with my out-of-town friends and even THEY said the cake was extremely delicious. Honestly, everybody I know that has tried this cake shop has only said positive things. Here's a quick bulletpoint of why I love Final Touch Bakery & what I order: - My favorite go-to flavor: vanilla cake with raspberry + passionfruit filling (the cake is soft/moist and the fruit filling is FRESH - unlike many other Asian bakeries) - Other good go-to flavors I've tried: matcha cake with raspberry + passionfruit filling, tiramisu cake (offered only during Christmas season) you can order - You can order one day in advance and still receive an aesthetic looking cake (I always ask for their basic beach design - you won't be disappointed!) - You can order a customized cake with a cool design/theme (ex: Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spiderman, etc.), but it will take a week or longer for them to make so make sure to prepare and call way in advance! - Their cakes are TALLER than your average cake - it was double the size than I expected! - Number/numeric candles are $1 each - Staff is accommodating and friendly! This will forever be my go-to cake place - highly recommend ordering from this bakery if you're in Orange County :)

I'm very disappointed w all the tasteless cakes in Little Saigon. I bought cakes here before n I meant to order here for our birthdays my husband n I have the same birthday but they had short hours n I just couldn't get there on time. This time the cake from Boulangerie Pierre was tossed in the trash so I had to come back here early to order our cake. We ordered vanilla cake w strawberries filling, Bavarian cream n butter cream, $5 more for each rose . I chose #57 from the cake album. It was so so beautiful I must have taken 50 pictures. I don't know why my husband always wanted lily bakery I guess he didn't want the hassle of returning to pick up. Lily has ready made cakes but they were all tasteless, the cake has no substance it was like Angel cake all full of air! The cream was like shaving cream! Lol Van bakery is not much better. I cannot wait to go to Paris I was eating cakes daily, they had real Chantilly not fake cream but until my trip to Paris this summer, Final touch is where I satisfy my craving, I wish they sell slices. Again a perfect 5 stars! Bravo

But with all the hype about this bakery on social media, I had to try it The Fruit Cakes are unique with fresh fruit not glazed or jam. Big bite size strawberries, mango, kiwi, grapes, pineapple with a thin layer of sponge cake, layers of crunchy phyllo and whipped cream. The smallest cake is a 1/4 sheet which cost $45. With all the fruit on top, it made it challenging to slice nice looking dessert slices. Super yummy, I can understand why people are making reels about this place on social media. It's a winner. Friendly service, accommodating and responsive to our needs. We requested no kiwi due to one allergy to it and they make it within 10 minutes.

I think I just rekindled a long-lost relationship with this bakery…read more The last time I visited was probably a few years ago, and while I remember liking it well enough, I wasn't exactly blown away by the vegetarian and vegan options at the time. Fast forward to recently, and their Instagram marketing team deserves a raise because they absolutely got me. Every other scroll seemed to feature some gorgeous vegan pastry or savory item, and before I knew it, I was planning a visit solely based on cravings induced by social media. The pistachio croissant, pâté chaud, and sticky rice had been living rent-free in my head for weeks. Let me just say: this place exceeded the hype. The pâté chaud was the star of the show. I ordered both the regular version and the "beef" version. The vegan beef filling was tasty, but there wasn't a whole lot of it. The regular pâté chaud, on the other hand, was generously filled with vegan pork and mushrooms and was absolutely phenomenal. Flavorful, savory, and wrapped in the flakiest, butteriest pastry imaginable. One bite and I was immediately transported back to childhood. Pâté chaud was one of those treats my dad would always bring home for me growing up, so finding a vegetarian version felt like discovering buried treasure. Not to be dramatic, but I would happily eat a concerning number of these in one sitting. The xôi gà (sticky rice with seasoned vegan chicken) was another knockout. In my excitement, I started eating it immediately instead of waiting to warm it up first. Rookie mistake. By the time I realized my error, I had already inhaled most of it. After heating up the remaining portion, I finally understood what I had deprived myself of. The warm version was next-level delicious. If the room-temperature version was an A, the heated version graduated summa cum laude. I have been thinking about it ever since and am currently fighting the urge to drive back for more as I write this review. The girl working at the counter was also incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Needless to say, I will not be waiting another few years before returning. In fact, if you see someone sprinting toward the pastry case for vegan pâté chaud and sticky rice, there's a decent chance it's me.

She may have known the other customers in the store at the time because I felt she was a lot more friendly towards them. Also a heads up, you have to spend at least $20 to be able to use a card, so bring cash! I tried their honeycomb cake (in a half moon shape, good for 3-4 servings) and their vegan pork pate chaud. Both of these items were good! They were also reasonably priced as I got both for ~$8-9. The honeycomb cake was slightly sweet and chewy. The vegan pastry was flaky despite being vegan! There was a good amount of filling, which consisted of the vegan pork and mushrooms. It was savory and had a good texture too. The only other thing I may ever come back for is their vegan fried chicken but the smallest amount you have to buy 1/2 lb which is $12

I usually pay in cash, but you can pay with card (except American Express) if you're okay with a small processing fee. There isn't much seating in the bakery, but there are a couple of chairs and tables to the left. From my experience, people usually just come and go. I buy a bunch of these to take home as souvenirs, as the strawberry croissants obviously need to be eaten ASAP. Their employees were pretty friendly and helpful.
