Such a great spot! I love that they put fabric on the walls to absorb the sound. It helped to make a warm atmosphere too. The Turkey Trot porter was excellent, nice and balanced. Twelve very good beers on tap in Flemington and if your S.O. likes to shop you can day drink while they explore the Liberty outlets, it's a fine excuse for a visit lol. Huge open tap room with two upstairs rooms for private parties plus proper sound treatment, no worries about finding room to converse over a 4-beer flight ($8) or a pint ($6) of Lone Eagle brew. Growlers filled for 16-$18. Their award-winning Maden Flight IPA is very yummy, I'm also a big fan of their Baltic Porter (no coffee in this one) and the ESB. The tour of this 10-barrel brewery is purely on paper, you read the card and then they serve you. I wanted to geek out over the mash tun etc. but that wasn't on tap that day, apparently a forklift was in the way (IDK). The board ("in the eagle's nest") promised that a Mexican lager was coming Real Soon Now. They're also aging beer in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels but none was available for tasting, would REALLY like to come back for that. Possibly an over-the-top stout waiting for cooler weather?? Yep you bring your own food, they're totally cool about it and on a nice day you can sit outside. Plenty of parking. Bonus points if you manage to schedule a ride on the Black River & Western R.R. before or after lifting a glass here. Opened July 2016. read more

I first went here for a Yelp event last year and have been wanting to return. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. Business is booming here! What a genius idea to open a craft brewery in Flemington! What's even more genius is to make sure it "fits" with the quaint little town of Flemington yet still feel clean and modern. I loved the layout of the tables and open bar area. There was a loft for private parties. I had visited during the Christmas holiday and loved the decor. The local Flemington letter carrier, who is also a great friend, got the owner to take me on a tour as well. Discovered the Lone Eagle Brewing in a very impromptu day. I liked the atmosphere went we first walked into the tasting area. It did remind me of a winery tasting room. The outdoor area is nice and could use an upgrade in the near future. The brews overall are solid. I tried out 8 different house beers. They do a better job on saisons and blonds verse the darker styles. I would recommend this brewery and this adjust and grow bigger in the next few years. Flemington is a nice little town to explore and spend an afternoon. read more

Bold is gone from the beers. Flavors are far less from when they first started. I can't imagine the same brew meister is there producing whats offered. The staple maiden flight is far less in color and taste than even the photo used on the menu. We tried the cherry gusher tonight. A sour beer that was just eh. Could have been more cherry forward and more sour. The saddest was the hard grapefruit seltzer. Flat out nasty. No taste at all. Really can't believe they're even offering it. Im a fan of eagle and have been coming since they opened. I hope this is a covid slump and they come back to the quality bold beers they started with. read more

I visited the brewery because I'd heard good things about it, though I admit I'm not much of a beer drinker. The service was fast and friendly and they have top-notch covid policies (the red and green flip can is not only genius, but super convenient too)! The lemon-lime seltzer really hit the spot and the homemade root beer was better than anything mass-produced I've ever had. It's a shame I don't live nearby anymore (just visiting family) because I'd come back just for the root beer. We took some Hangover pretzel co. pretzels and some merch home with us and hope to return when the tours start back up again! read more

Nice size brewery. Bartenders could be more educated on beers and less snappy to newcomers. The bartender asked if it was my first time which was true, but then assumed I had never been to a brewery when I've worked at one and slammed a paper down explaining craft beer (although I'm hoping it was just a bad day or something). Once I told her I was familiar with beer and I started to ask about the beers on the menu it was apparent she wasn't well educated on beer hops and flavors. Might be worth having staff at least look over cicerone information if not even get them certified. I likely will still return. I know the place is newer, just needs some minor improvements. Another recommendation would be to list a short description on the beers (maybe three words) Words to describe hop flavor and bitterness: Piney, citrusy, grapefruity, earthy, musty, spicy, sharp, bright, fresh, lemony, aromatic, floral, springlike, brilliant, sprucelike, juniper-like, minty, pungent, elegant, grassy. Overall if you're a craft beer connoisseur I would say the beers are mediocre. read more

We've been coming to Lone Eagle since they opened their doors. I am so happy that they opened up so close to home. They keep mixing up their selection and now they are canning and spreading around the area on tap. The taproom is comfortable and they are so nice and pleasant to deal with. The upstairs of the brewery can be rented for functions and the outside now has tables and chairs that make for a nice relaxing environment with great beers. read more

We went there last night to try this new brewery. After recently moving to this area -- this is the only brewery in flemington area.. very new and less thanks year old.. staff here is very nice And they gave us good informative tour.. my hubby is big on beers ESP craft beers and he really enjoyed it.. we tried three different beers. I had cranberry saison and hubby had a stout and IPA.. IPA was very light without any hops taste and Irish dry stout has very unusual taste.. In My saison, cranberry overpowered alcohol taste... Hence, overall it was very Meh which makes us sad bc we love going to breweries.. giving one extra star for their tour.. I really hope that they will bring some new beers bc this one was disappointing experience:((( read more

We stopped in last Sunday mainly because it's a local brewery close to home and dog friendly. When we came in we were warmly greeted and given a quick "tour" (legally have to). After that we were given a beer list. We chose to do samples which was awesome because we were able to try all of the types of beer we like and branch out a little. The red ipa and the chowdah IPA were by far our favorites. We loved them both so much that we purchased canned versions of both of them to go. Our pup met a couple friends and enjoyed his time there as well. We met one of the owners who was super friendly as well. We love this place and can't wait to visit again. read more

Great beer, nice atmosphere, and fair prices. The owners can typically be found behind the bar pouring beers and offering samples, very friendly people. Their IPAs and stouts were my favorite, but their cream ale was surprisingly good. Most beers were $6, specialty beers were $8 (and that golden imperial stout was absolutely worth it). Beer and people are great - clientele just regular normal folks - love that dogs can be with their owners! Two suggestions for the owners - now that it is nice out get rid of the picnic tables where two people are sitting in a spot for six and put in like ten high boy tables seating four each. This way more people would stay longer and you'd sell more product. Second, put out lots of pretzels so people can soak up beer and drink more safely. Yes they can order food but this would help you get at least $10 extra a person. Those two suggestions would increase your beer sales and get you more regular customers coming there to enjoy the nice weather!!! Then if you really wanted to do it up, make a deal with a food cart to sell stuff right outside your door on the sidewalk. With the right license that would be a win all around. This place is right near my house! Being in this area for over 15 year Flemington as a town doesn't have much but since they opened Lone Eagle I feel it's really helped the community gives us the opportunity to do something fun for people of age to drink! It's super convenient being right next to Liberty Village! It's a great place to hangout with your friends and is always packed! Very popular place! The people that work there are super nice! My lovely girlfriend surprised me with a small birthday party gathering of my friends and family here. Obviously the brewery is not a party venue but everyone there was warm welcoming and hospitable. They helped all of us choose a beer we each would enjoy, 007 ale and the NE lager are my favorite right now. My friend thoroughly enjoyed the Irish coffee stout. At one point we ordered pizza and the pizzeria did not include paper plates....the Lone Eagle brewers had a couple in their break room that they lent us and saved the day. I'm going to keep this review short and sweet. I have been coming here on and off since this establishment opened. The first time I stopped here - my feelings were meh ok, not bad. I stopped here years ago in the middle of a snow storm with my dog, the people were accommodating and friendly - I never forget great customer service or bad for that matter. Their beer has come far since day one and when I am in the area I grab a pint or two, the brewery is fun, people are friendly - and there is a beer style for everyone. Came in for the first time over the weekend and had a nice experience. Everyone there was really nice. One of the owners gave us a tour and their facility, albeit small, was really nice. I had their Saison, Rye IPA, and Douple IPA. The double IPA wasn't as resiny as I was expecting and had a pretty clean mouthfeel. The Rye IPA was also very subtle. I enjoyed the Saison the most. The nice thing about Lone Eagle is they do growlers and kegs. Getting a keg of small batch microbrew is nice and not a lot of places do that right away. read more

This place is great. Located in my hometown of Flemington, this is a very good brewery. What would make this place absolutely great is if they served food but no worries. Lone Eagle occupies a pretty big building in the Liberty Village shopping complex. Great place for the dads to have a couple of beers while the wives or families shop. They usually have about 10-12 beers on tap with their main one being their IPA, Maiden Flight. This beer actually won a really great award at the AC beer festival. I don't know what the award was but something like best West Coast style IPA or something like that. Since this is a brewery but more set up like a bar/restaurant, you are legally required to take a "tour" if you have never been here before. The tour consists of reading a piece of paper. Honestly, the beers are great and are about $5-7 per. They also sell 4 packs and growlers to go. I also bought a t-shirt here and it's seriously one of the most comfortable t-shirts I've ever worn in my life. Lone Eagle has both an indoor and outdoor seating. They even have some cornhole games. Believe it or not, they even try to accommodate families as best they can so you actually enjoy yourselves sitting outside at one of their picnic tables. This place is a great brewery but an absolute gem for Flemington. I am even starting to see some of their beers pop up on tap at various restaurants. read more

I love this place and can't say enough good things about it. All the bartenders in the tasting room and great and the owners are among the most friendly people you will meet. They have a lot of good beers but I recommend their west coast ipa (maiden flight), their black ipa, and their cranberry saison (craison). Inside and outside seating with two floors to chose from on the inside. Staff is good and always willing to offer a recommendation for you and offer a tasting.
