On Stangle Road in the corpse of Liberty Village exists an excellent...well in Colorado we'd call it a Tap Room. I had the Dark Helmet and the Doppelbock. The Dark Helmet reminded me of a Czech style beer (although not poured as such). The Dopplebock was great. They had a food truck that served Oven Baked pizza. IMHO this is the best of the local area Brew Pubs/Tap Rooms. read more

They were having an Oktoberfest which I found out about through Facebook. There was live music inside and sunrise cooking outside. The staff were very friendly and treated me as soon as I walked in even though they were very busy. The steady mist/drizzle didn't seem to keep people away. Whenever I visit a brewery for the first time, I will start with a flight since it gives me an opportunity to try several beers. There were so many options that I had trouble narrowing it down to four. I told the gentleman behind the bar that I don't like IPAs and he made several recommendations. He even gave a sample of a few. I went with their 49 Fame Helles lager (A traditional Munich Helles lager. Light in color with a crackery, crisp finish.), Oktoberfest (A traditional German-style Festival lager with a touch of malty sweetness, balanced hop character, and a crisp finish), Cacklin Jack (This is a classic amber ale brewed with pumpkin puree and cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, mace, cloves, and brown sugar.), and Dark Matter (A roasty Irish-style Dry Stout served on NITRO). They are a couple other breweries in the area I still have to visit but this place is worth a second visit. read more

Great service in a nice part of town. We are out of staters who brew tour often. This brewery is off Main Street with ample parking and shopping around. Inside was full for a Saturday afternoon with no events. The beer was ON POINT. Lagers were amazing and the IPAs were balanced. If you're in the area, don't skip this joint. I'm not really from the Flemington area but man do I love to visit areas and find gems in the rough. Not only was this place a vibe but the service was second to none . Me and a friend sat at the bar because it was super busy and received the best service. You would think that because they were busy they might try to rush your order but it was the opposite. I forget the women's name but she treated us like we were the only ones there because it was our first time. I got to try everything and there sours are top notch. Stopped in before heading over to the nearby Flemington DIY to listen to some live Jazz. The cherry hard seltzer was not overly sweet or fizzy - just perfect. Husband settled on the Russian Stout which he pronounced as exceptional. You can get growlers and crowlers to go, can bring in your own food (they sell chips and popcorn), clean bathrooms and clothing gear. FLEMINGTON: aren't we lucky to have so many dog friendly breweries in NJ? And we found another one! Brie's first time at @loneeaglebrew was very enjoyable! Leashed-dogs are allowed and there are 3 spaces to enjoy a deliciously crafted beer: an outdoor patio, inside on the lower level, and upstairs in the loft! There are at least 12 beers on tap and a friendly bartender is ready to serve you at your table. We enjoyed the Doppelleben, Chela Mexicans, and the Maiden flight with guava. You may bring your own food. Brie was spoiled with treats and loved doing her dance for the other guests! This place is nestled in Flemington historic area between a farmers market and the Black River and Western Train Station. There's a little bit of everything here. 12-14 beers on tap. Pale Ales, Sours, Pilsner, Saisons, Wheat, IPA'S, and Lagers. I prefer sours and ales, but tried quite a few different ones. They were all great especially The Black Currant Gusher. Ronan's Irish Red Ale, the Maple Wheaties Ale. Mango Milkshake IPA, Trail Mix,the Tropical Gusher, Plocky, and Barrel Aged Coco Express. I even had a crowler filled when I was there. There's three serving bars which were all hand-built by the owners, and the tables and benches were produced by the students of Hunterdon County Polytech. Beers are available in flights, pints, 32 oz crowlers and 64 oz growlers, 16 oz. Cans - 4 Packs and Specialty Bottles and Cans, You can order beers online and have them delivered to your door or you can pick them up. There's a minimum order amount depending on your zip code. ( you can check out their website for more details and instructions.) For the nonalcoholic- From time to time they'll have house made sodas on tap. Starting June 17th they will be having bands. I believe the Nerds are playing on that day. Inside can hold up to 100 people. Outside approximately 60. Their outdoor seating is very comfortable, especially if you get to sit in their Adirondack chairs next to the fire pit. This place is very dog friendly. You can order food from a local restaurant and bring it in or have it delivered. I can't say enough good things about the staff. Janet and Sue the beer-tenders were so friendly and accommodating. The owner Diane is a delight. They apologized for keeping us waiting, it took no more then three minutes to change a tap. The Lone Eagle brewery sells cute Merch. You can pick up a tee shirt or two. I've been coming here for a few years when we are in the area to visit family and we really like it. There's other options in the area like conclave, but Lone Eagle is dog friendly which we love. The beers are generally pretty good and the staff is always super friendly. Prices for growler fills are around $20-$22 which is pretty reasonable too. 5 stars because the brewery is a great place to host an event. The event space upstairs is very spacious and you can bring your own food. We have attended a birthday party there and even hosted our own Christmas swap! Sure there are four less taps upstairs but you can just walk down to see what you are missing. All of Lone Eagle's beers well put together but highlights over the years are the golden bourbon barrel stout - no roasted malts and light on the barrel flavor which was perfect - and the annual turkey trot stout. Well...what can I say...it's a brewery but I was totally turned off by this place...children EVERYWHERE...dirty tables that when my friend asked for a towel to clean the table she was told with a not nice attitude to use the paper towels and spray bottle. Oh - and don't get me started about the amount of dogs (not service animals) that were also everywhere. One guy even put his dog ON the table and had his dog drink from one of the glasses the beer is served in. Beer is very good - get it to go. read more

They had a variety of selections but I just wasn't "wow'd" by anything particular. There beer is just average. Also, this is not the place to go to relax & unwind. We live a little over an hour away and we heard that this brewery was doing an event to help promote an animal adoption league. So we decided to take a ride down after first stopping to do our walking at Duke Farms and we are so happy that we did. The the people that work there were so incredibly nice even down to the people that they had doing security for the event it seems like they had a lot of regulars our family members that were there. I love the way they had it set up outside it was really cute with the tan and the inside is immaculate the bathrooms were spotless. Now onto the real reason the beer oh my God I didn't know what to expect we always used to drink beer and I haven't had it in about a year and I'm glad that this was the place that I decided to try it again with I can't even remember the names there were so many good ones my boyfriend and I each had four Different ones there was one that was rude with mango that was absolutely amazing it had a very tropical twist to it. Honestly if we didn't live so far we definitely want to stay in a little bit longer has they had some live bands playing for their five year anniversary.. This is somewhere or we will certainly be going back to we were already discussing our next visit down there LOL read more

This place is quite large and not even three years old. It's situated in the outlets near the railway station. The staff seem very nice and very helpful. Kudos to Steven, Alexandra& Diane. I was impressed with the different types of brews available on tap. My favorites were Maiden Flight, a Gold Medal winner, a great IPA. And Spelt Wrong, another great tasting IPA. Both over 7.0 ABV. A tour was available of which I did opt. The second floor consisted of two large rooms that could be rented privately. There is also a tasting bar upstairs. Steven told me they are going to expand next year. I wonder why. There is a very nice gift shop area This is a cool place to hang out and super clean. It's too bad it's so far from home. At first I didn't expect the tent to be facing the back of the outlets, but honestly it was fine and my group didn't mind it at all! Beer was solid - there's not a huge selection on draft at the moment, but my friends and I still spent several hours here chatting over a few drinks. I came on a hot day, and the Summer Blonde was probably the most popular amongst our group as a nice light and easy beer. Extra things to note: BYOF and dog friendly! The staff was so sweet to bring a dog bowl of water for us (appreciated because it was such a hot day). I also like their table service system where you flip a colored can to ask for service - green side up for ordering, red side up for no service. Start with a flight of four, and speaking of flight, you have four seating options of the tap room, the upstairs loft if it's open or your party booked, the generous outside tent, or the cozy hop garden outside around the corner. Atmosphere and beer choices alike! The staff was all friendly, and Kim took care of us in organizing our flights and making sure no one went thirsty, not our girl with her house seltzer or our lucky pup who got to use the big-breed size water bowl. The summer pints were perfect for the hot day (Maiden Flight, Flemington Fog, and Station Haus, yum!) and we brought home some cans from cold case. If you're lucky Va Fa Napoli Pizza will be parked out front, with the best margarita pie of your life. After a long day of visiting family in the area, we wanted to try this brewery as we just sampled some of their beers at the AC Beerfest. The vibe here is nice and the employees were spot on with their beer descriptions and helping us pick beers for our flights based on our preferences. The beers themselves were very solid. My wife who prefers fruity type beers really enjoyed the Strawberry Milkshake IPA and my favorite was the Maple Wheaties which is described as a strong dark ale but it could pass for a brown nut beer as well. Really enjoyed our recent afternoon at Lone Eagle Brewing! First, Lone Eagle seems to have done a great job complying with the ever-changing pandemic standards. They have a tent set up with socially distanced tables for outdoor service in addition to a few other tables set up along an outdoor patio on the side of their building. There is hand sanitizer available with the hostess, and we saw staff quickly redirect someone who tried to leave their table without their mask. When people left the table nearby, I saw staff carefully wipe down all laminated menus and items on the table with sanitizing solution. They have a one-way path set up to get through the building to use the restrooms. We arrived around 2-3 PM on a Saturday and were seated immediately at a large picnic table. They have an absolutely brilliant set-up with a crowler covered in green duct tape on one side and red on the other and instructed us to flip the green side up if we wanted to place an order and otherwise they'd leave us alone. When we flipped the can, staff responded very quickly and were very friendly. They were not offering flights or half pours, but BF and I wound up trying two beers each out of about a dozen on tap. I loved their tropical saison with mango and pineapple, while BF enjoyed a couple of their IPAs. All the beers were reasonably priced as well. They did have a food truck available on site and I did see popcorn on the menu for those who need a snack. They also offered a variety of cans to take home. read more

Lone Eagle was the 86th brewery that I had visited in NJ. They are located inside the old Flemington Outlets, and you can tell it was an attempt to lure people back to the area. The tasting room is nicely done, and they have an upstairs area, too, which they reserve for overflow and special events. There is outside seating, too, which people were taking advantage of while I was there. The service was very efficient and responsive. I got the impression that the beer-tenders had previous experience in restaurants as servers, as opposed to beer experience. There was a laid-back feeling in the place in general. There were a couple groups that rotated in and out. It wasn't the friendliest brewery ever, but it was certainly an enjoyable one. The beers themselves all taste fresh, since they are made on premises. They did have a larger variety of the standard ones. However, they are all mild and entry-level. Serious beer enthusiasts wouldn't be happy here. Beer cans are readily available for sale, too, and nicely displayed in a fridge. Overall, I recommend stopping here if you're in town. Just don't go out of your way. I walked through the old outlets while I was there, and I was the only soul in sight. It was quite a contrast to the last time I visited the outlets in 1997. I was a little confused when I was driving through the outlets to find this place, is it discounted beer? I finally arrived and it is a very nice spot, clean, nice outdoor area, the whole place had a beachy shore vibe to it. They had a good amount of beer on tap, and offered flights or pints. I really enjoyed their double IPA, red IPA, Craison (cranberry saison) and the anniversary Saison. BYOF, bring your own food, but they have pretzels out to snack on. Bring the pups -They don't take any shortcuts in the brewing process. The ingredients are wholesome and natural. No artificial flavoring. -There is an upstairs loft area where you can host a private party and bring in outside food. -The tour was excellent. It wasn't just a 50 second run down. Todd took the time to thoroughly explain the brewing process and the machinery they use. -The beer is very cold -The decor is so authentic to the area, woodsy and simple -clean bathrooms -credit cards accepted Well priced pints between $6-$8 for beer that is brewed right here for you! One of the best new spots in Flemington!! Absolutely an amazing place to hangout with friends and grab a beer or two. There's a lot of parking available which makes it even better because you don't have to worry about not finding parking. The brewery has ample space so it's perfect for big groups. The staff are super friendly and attentive. When i went they let me try out a couple of beers by giving me some samples before i decided which one i wanted to purchase. Ohhh did i mentioned the glass of beer are super cheap!! $6 bucks you can't beat that! In the first floor you have the brewery it's self and a huge bar. If you go up to the 2nd floor you'll see two rooms with ample space. Those rooms you can even rent out for private events. The bathroom decor is super cute and rustic. Tucked away in the back corner we probably would have missed it entirely if not for YELP. On this visit we sat upstairs after we enjoyed the tour. We have been to enough breweries that the husband has become fairly knowledgeable about the process and can almost provide a self guided tour. Very good beers. The rye IPA was quite smooth, unlike other rye beers. The maarzen was a decent Oktoberfest, but I would maybe make it leas flat. Cherry seltzer a crisp, refreshing winner. POG sour was fruity and sparkly. They could do more with the outdoor seating, which is basically a covered parking lot. Staff knowledgeable and helpful, even in the face of long lines. Great place and great addition to Flemington. Saw a great band and even though I'm not a craft beer drinker they had a wonderful black cherry cider that was absolutely delicious. They do change the flavors so yiu may not get black cherry but I'm sure the next flavor they have will be just as delicious. Having bands outside is wonderful!! Great choice in music.
