This brewery had about 10 brews on tap. I really enjoyed the Coconut Blonde 571 smooth with a subtle coconut finish that wasn't overpowering and the Winter Warmer Snowscape. That said, the service left something to be desired. The beertender (also one of the owners) didn't feel very welcoming and seemed a bit put off when I asked for a small taste of a second beer, keep in mind the place was empty and no one was waiting behind us. He also seemed inconvenient to any request we made. It took away from what could've been an all-around great experience. Specifically when I asked him to stamp a wine/beer trail booklet. Came here over the weekend to surprise my wife to brewery that's far from us. She said she really enjoyed the beer, including the Misplaces References. The bartenders are super nice and I even saw one of the bartenders, possibly the owner, help one of the regular patrons with getting wheelchair accessible seating they had live music going on, which was nice and the place was packed so I assume that people love coming here. Beautiful facility and truly pet and family friendly. We came in on Trivia night and enjoyed the vibe. Beer was tasty (1726 stout and Up, Up, and away IPA). We brought in our supper and others were doing the same. Family owners/operators were genuinely kind and welcoming. read more

My wife and I stopped in on our way to NY for a break from driving. GPS took us right to is and there is adequate signs and parking. When we walked in, we were greeted by the man working the register. The beer list was a little heavy on IPA and heavier beer but they had an Octoberfest and an American pale ale that wasn't to high in IBUs. Both were good, especially the pale ale! They do not serve food here but you can bring it in or order delivery to there. It was pet friendly as there was a dog or two inside with some people. We got to talk to the owner and this is a family run business that they built from the ground up and are having fun doing it! My wife said they have the cleanest bathrooms she has ever seen! Invertase is one of the newest breweries in NJ. They are located in Phillipsburg, which is an old industrial town on the Delaware River in the northwestern part of the state. Invertase is a father-son operation, and I really liked that. They were very welcoming and appreciative of me stopping in. It's located in a small industrial area. They have a lot of space. However, I think it would be a little more amenable if they had a bar. Instead it's more of a pick-up counter. I found it harder to meet others that way. Their theme is the atomic theme, which reminds me of Oyster Creek Brewing in Waretown. Their beers are new, so I'm not going to be incredibly critical about them. I also just got one flight. But they should mature over time. I wish them the best in their new business! read more

I am so happy this brewery is local to me! The beers and the staff go above and beyond in my opinion. Beers are flavorful, clean and consistent. Every brew I've tried has been great. The inside of the brewery has plenty of seating and more recently they opened up their beer garden, which they are still adding on to. If you're not looking to stay and drink they always have cans or crowlers to go and they provide daily updates via their social media pages. read more

Where to start. My husband and I waited months for this place to open. When they opened 1 year ago, they have been fantastic from day one. The decor is industrial and has a very relaxed chill vibe. The place is spotless. They opened up a beer garden where they hold a variety of musical guests The beer itself is phenomenal. Love the 1954 and their porter. They have a wide variety and all of them delicious. The owners themselves are friendly, grateful and kind. If you are a fan of great craft brew, this place will not disappoint.
