This brewery was highly recommended. I am glad I finally had time to stop by. It definitely is a fun place to go. I was suppose how welcoming it was. The decor was lovely. See the attached pictures. I walked straight to the bar and ordered a coffee and coconut stout. It was delicious. I sat back and enjoyed the scene. Bartenders were very friendly. I bought beers to enjoy at home. Easy pick at the rear of the brewery. I could see myself come back next year!

Cool spot with a nice variety of beers, easy parking, and tons of games to play with friends. The beer tenders provided great, easy going service. Both were very personable and they made sure to communicate last call with ample time for us to get another round. Cyclone offers tasters, flights, half pours and full pours so everyone can get what they want. We really enjoyed the Sunny Day Ray sour. It was well rounded- refreshing, tart and 6% abv! Bathrooms were clean and water is available on tap near the bathroom. Swing by and check this place out!

BYOF - bring your own food. The beer selection is really good! Especially seasonal releases. It's a great local spot tucked away in a plaza with plenty of parking. In the summer they will have outdoor events. I do wish they had finger foods but it's a brewery you come for the beer and they allow you to have food delivered or bring your own so can't be mad Love coming here.

Happy 4th Anniversary Great beer and friendly staff. I enjoyed a couple of the dark beers, a porter and stout. They also had a great barley wine. They also had a strawberry cider that I took home in a crowler. It's in an industrial area

Stopped in on the way home from anther brewery because they had stouts on the menu. As a personal note: I am a stout girl. Absolutely love them, and for some reason, no one seems to be pouring them lately. It's sad. However, I got wrapped up in a stout cyclone the minute I walked in the door and built myself a tasty little flight comprised of Santa Pants, Deformation Zone (an absolute PERFECT stout), Double Stuffed Dreams, and Back for S'More. Pure heaven. As for the brewery itself, it's spacious, clean, and I'll absolutely be back. The bartender was super chill. The live music was great and the other patrons were fun. A great local spot.

Bring your own food, play board games and have a great time while sipping their beers. It a great place to hangout with and have chill time. There is plenty of seating at the bar, high top tables and some picnic style tables too (no outdoor seating). There is more than 10 beers on tap - Eye of the Storm Citra IPA is my favorite. Will definitely recommend this place.

What can you do after dropping teens off at Bridgewater Mall? Go to Jersey Cyclone while they're shopping! It's about 10 min away...my husband and I were impressed with the space and enjoyed the beer. Plenty of parking, tables/seating, board games, to-go cans...good service too.

First time ever going to a brewery and had such a great experience! The space is on the smaller side but tables are clean spaced out well. Each table has hand sanitizer. Weekdays are typically not super busy. We came around 6pm on a Tuesday and there were plenty of tables open. Friendly environment and staff was super nice! When we asked for recommendations, she graciously went through each of the beers available and described each one in detail. Almost each beer has a taster, a half pour, and a full pour option. As an amateur beer drinker, I loved being able to try several different beers for a very affordable price. There was a good range of choices, from IPA beers to stout and sour. My favorites were the Tranquil Waters and Frost Flowers. But I was surprised at how good the King Tide and Vantablack Morning beers were -- worth the try! I will definitely be returning to try more of their craft beers and enjoy the friendly environment. It's BYOF so I would recommend stopping by one of the nearby pizza places on your way here and picking up a pie!

Tucked away towards the rear of one of the ubiquitous warehouse complexes in Somerset.. Jersey Cyclone Brewing offers a variety of tasty beers in their intimate but comfortable tasting room. As with most microbreweries -- the IPAs are the signature brews, but Jersey Cyclone produces several types of tasty and fresh beer on-site and rotates the 10-12 beers on tap in the tasting room. There are several IPAs -- including New England IPAs, American IPAs, Session IPAs (with lower alcohol content) and Imperial IPAs (with heavier alcohol content) -- and other seasonally-inspired beers/seltzers -- such as Kölsch, Barleywine, and Bock -- available in "taster", "half pour", "full pour" servings. Colleagues of mine stopped by after work on a recent Wednesday evening to unwind over a few beers. When we arrived around 6pm, the tasting room was almost empty with only a handful of other patrons and remained that way until we closed our tabs and left just after last call at 745pm. I was hoping to sample the Flood - an Imperial Stout - but it's only available in cans which can't be enjoyed on-site at the brewery according to NJ's liquor laws. Instead, I opted for the Wind Chimez Session IPA because I wanted something on the lighter side; my colleagues tried the brewery's flagship Eye of the Storm Citra American IPA. All of us enjoyed the beers .. giving them a solid 4 out of 5 stars for their smooth, consistent flavors. Prices vary depending upon variety (and the alcohol content). Surprisingly, Jersey Cyclone doesn't offer flights of "taster" samples to sample several at a time. They do offer beer 'to go' with a limited selection of 16oz cans and a larger selection of anything on-tap in 32oz crowlers (a giant 32oz can filled with beer straight from the tap and sealed, preserving the beer's carbonation for about a month) or BYO growlers (a glass container filled with beer straight from the tap and capped off, preserving the beer for a few days). Pro Tip: New Jersey's draconian liquor laws prohibit microbreweries from serving food, so bring your own snacks or order via your favorite delivery app.

Jersey Cyclone was the 98th brewery that I had visited in NJ alone. They have entered Middlesex County, which is one of the most populated counties in the state but still does not have many breweries. It is definitely needed there to give a communal space for funky people to hang out. They are located in an industrial park with plenty of parking. The space is on the smallish, but not too small, side. I noticed most of the guests sit right up at the bar, but there are lots of tables, too, for dates and bigger groups. The decor is relatively simple and clean. It still has that "new brewery smell." The beers tend to be rich, bold, and thicker. They had a variety of different styles. Jersey Cyclone did not seem like an IPA-only brewery. I can't say that they are the very finest beers I have tasted in NJ, but the brewery is still new, and the beers were all fresh. The two ladies working there were very friendly and efficient. You could tell they had previous waitressing experience. I met two different patrons at the bar who were both very intelligent and wanted to engage in meaningful conversations. It makes me wonder whether Jersey Cyclone tends to attract the smarter clientele. Maybe it's because it's near Rutgers?? I noticed they also got busier after the Rutgers football game finished. My buddy who joined me lives nearby, so I'll be back.

They actually vaguely have a similar set-up to Troon Brewing and the Brick Farm Tavern, in that the brewery doesn't have its own formal tasting room, and a full service bar is the exclusive tap for the brewery. They have basic food items available, too, which are inexpensive. The Brooks Brewery list is on a dry erase board, as pictured. IPA snobs won't like them. A short walk later, I found myself at Destination Dogs, a place I had seen in photographs that suggested capaciousness. In reality, it is smaller.  This is not a complaint, just an observation.  I remember once hearing something about the contents of small packages. At 12:30 the place was full. Packed with humanity and appetite. I was seated quickly, as if someone had anticipated my hunger in advance. From the bar came the sound of construction crews discussing their midday rituals. Apparently this is where they come on Fridays, to repair themselves while they repair the city. It explained everything. Service was swift and attentive, a minor miracle given the crowd. I began with a Scotch egg, an item that seemed to have wandered in from another story entirely. I ordered it for that reason. I had always imagined my first Scotch egg would be eaten in an English pub under low ceilings and older regrets. Instead, here it was. Perfectly crisp, warm, and generous. The universe does not ask for permission. Then came the main event. The menu is an atlas of hot dogs. Domestic. International. Proteins in tube form arranged like possibilities. There is even an invitation to build your own, which I accepted. I attempted to recreate a favorite from Crif Dogs, a thing called the Spicy Redneck. Bacon wrapped dog. Pickled jalapenos. Coleslaw. Simple in theory. Destination Dogs improved upon it in every way that matters. The bacon crisped with purpose. The jalapenos spoke clearly. The coleslaw behaved. The hot dog itself seemed proud to be there. All of this, plus a 16 ounce beer, cost me about twenty five dollars with tip. A small price for order in a chaotic universe. Five stars. Not because perfection exists, but because this comes close enough to make the argument.

I don't blame the waitstaff at all, as they are very kind, welcoming, and quick, in my experience. First, the food. The quality is fine, but I always find it a red flag when Asian restaurants are run by non-Asian people and there are no Asians in the crowd. "Authentic Korean" is just entirely not true, but I digress. The wings were quite good but expensive, and some of the menu items are absurd. Over $30 for a simple salmon was high to the point where I couldn't even try it to see if it was worth it. The drinks they have available are only high-end costs at mid end quality. I find a $26 New Jersey Riesling elsewhere more interesting than their $30-$56 selections. The soju and sake are insanely marked up and ridiculously priced. The food also takes quite a while to come out, even when they aren't busy at all. Plus, there's an automatic 20% gratuity charge. This didn't bother me, except for the fact that it is not only applied to food but to karaoke rooms. I found this very misleading. People do not expect to pay a 20% service charge on a room booking. This raised the $160/2 hrs to $192, and they refused to budge on this misleading application of the tip. Today, a group of my friends went to the karaoke room. Yesterday, Friday, May 8th, my friend called and they told him it was $55/hr. Today, it was $80/hr. The strange part is, when we said we weren't expecting the high cost, a man (I'm presuming the manager, but I'm not sure) claimed that no one would ever say that, even though a waitress said just minutes before that it was probably the new guy and she was sorry. Then, the man doubled down and said that yesterday, the charge would have been $55 but today (Saturday) it's $80. This makes even less sense to me because, upon checking afterward, the menu clearly says $55 Monday-Thursday, meaning that Friday would be the same cost as Saturday. So he clearly was lying to our faces that yesterday would have been the lower cost. I tried to verify this on the website, but it's so poorly built and disorganized that I can't even find the karaoke cost. I find this business model very confusing. I have no reason not to believe that lying on the phone + not including information on the website is so that people only choose to book the rooms when already inebriated. I would highly recommend avoiding this place. Support authentic (half the price!!) Korean restaurants instead.

I recently met a friend at 22 West for a few drinks and dinner. We got there at the tail end of Happy Hour and enjoyed a couple of locally-produced draft beers. The food itself was perfectly okay -- nothing mind-blowing, but decent enough for a casual bite. We shared a dozen chicken wings and both thought they were pretty good. I had a turkey burger and french fries -- which was well-executed and filling. Looking at their website, it seems as if they've changed up their menu since my visit late last month.. but, I'm not sure I'm going back to try it again because the service really dragged our experience down. We sat at the bar and the staff behind the rail barely paid attention to us and seemed ambivalent about our presence at best. The biggest issue for me happened when I went to the men's restroom and found the soap dispenser completely empty. On the way back to my seat, I mentioned it to the hostess so it could be addressed by the staff and asked if she had any hand sanitizer. She just told me it was her first day on the job and she didn't know who to ask about either. Leaving a restroom without soap is bad enough, but a front-of-house staff member completely brushing off a basic hygiene issue because she didn't want to find a manager is just really bad customer service. It's a convenient spot with decent pub food, but they definitely need to tighten up their service and basic restroom maintenance.
