The bartender was amazing. Very knowledgeable and personable. He had great recommendations and was able to accommodate our requests. The drinks are flavorful without lots of sugars or additives. The location has multiple floors and seating options. The top floor is really cute and has more of a lounge vibe. We went on trivia night which was fun. Make a RSVP if you prefer playing in the main area otherwise you'll end up playing on your phone in a different area. They don't have a food menu but you can order from local pizza shop. They deliver right to your seat. Highly recommended for a date night or an outing with friends or colleagues.

We stopped in for a drink and loved the cocktails and cozy vibes. It's two floors, with couches and a private room upstairs. The cocktails were tasty and nicely presented. Service was great too! Each table had a silent bell to call the server.

Very nice place with a bar outside area and a beautiful upstairs area to enjoy cocktails. They sometimes have food trucks and they also have a local place that will bring food to you to enjoy with their cocktails. I recommend going on their website and making a reservation. Staff was very nice and informative.

This local watering hole in central NJ is my absolute favorite spot for refreshing and unique cocktails!! So much delicious variety for all kinds of taste buds! Great vibe, super clean and cute. They've got a cute igloo and outdoor seating for those that want to hang there. There's also upstair seating with lots of couches to lounge in. Friendliest staff who make it a point that you're happy with your drinks. They're great at making suggestions too! Wonderful place to wind down with or without friends!

3 seasonal specials (mango bay breeze, pumpkin horchata and a delicious frozen berry drink) along with a classic French 75!

Looking forward to returning soon! Delicious drinks and great service. Ingredients are super fresh! Love the rustic yet chic setting as well. Perfect for brining my out of town guests as well as locals alike!

My family and I had a WONDERFUL time at Bellemara! We booked our tickets online for the distillery tour and tasting ($20) on a Saturday. Plenty of parking in the area. Our tour was from 2pm to 2:30pm; we arrived late exactly at 2:30pm and the owner took us on the tour with no issues! This distillery is the smallest one i've been to, not complaining, it was very nice! The owner explained everything from how the alcohol is made, the process, the barrels, etc. He was very knowledgeable about his craft and inspiring. I was happy to visit a smaller distillery as the tour only took 30 minutes. It opened its doors 7 months ago so it's new to the area. They reserved an area for us upstairs in the lounge where we would taste their single malt spirit and single malt gin. The owner explained to us everything we needed to know to be malt experts! After our tasting, we ordered drinks with our waitress. I opted for the tropical gin & tonic as I am a tropical drink chick. It was amazing! I highly suggest it. All their drinks are made with fresh juices, fruits, in house made syrups, etc. The drinks were fresh and presented beautifully. They also have a snack menu with light bites such as popcorn, olives, pretzels, etc. The service was fantastic! Our waitress was knowledgeable about every drink on the menu and checked up with us frequently. Downstairs at the bar, there were also tables and chairs to hang out at as well as chairs at the bar. I saw a pizza food truck area outside which was cool. You can bring your dog and hang out outdoors, grab a bite to eat and a drink. The perfect downtime activity! I highly suggest this place for a date with your friends, significant other, family, etc. It was a relaxing way to spend my Saturday!

Enjoyed excellent craft cocktails today at the distillery! So happy I came across this place on social media. We sat on the outside patio, there is also a bar, indoor tables, and indoor lounge. The staff was friendly and attentive and drinks arrived quickly. My favorite drink I had was the blueberry sour (gin), and the people I was with enjoyed the tasting, especially the coffee liquor. The distillery is right next to a brewery and there was a food truck in between that you can bring the food to your table. Great spot!

First, I want to say thank you to the owner, Camden, for his speedy response when I asked if it was a kid-friendly distillery. (Also to the other yelp-er!) When you get to the location, there is plenty of parking and additional parking. You can't miss it and it's next to Flounder Brewing Co. There is outdoor seating but when you walk in, please have your ID out (like the sign says) to help you get seated. I brought my two little ones along to because I went to meet family. We were given the private room upstairs-- which was amazing! It was such a pleasant surprise that it wasn't that busy during the time we went on a Friday around 6pm. It did get busier after we got settled though-- so plan accordingly. Once we all got settled, we expected to go downstairs to order, however, we had a waitress come around to take our orders... it was, again I will say it, amazing. It is a BYO food but they had a food truck outside and you can order prepackaged snacks. I ordered the Caspian Jewel. It had gin, pistachio orgeat, lychee, lemon and green tea syrup. It was creamy and you could taste the lychee and lemon which I loved. I also got the Bellemara Coffee. The chantilly cream on top is delicious! I'd say I was not disappointed at all with those two drinks. The vibes in the upstairs area was great. Very classy and intimate. We loved the private room area, it does fit 10 people. Our family had 8 adults and 2 kiddos. If we have the whole family, we were saying we would definitely have to rent out the whole building or just upstairs. We will definitely be back. The service was phenomenal. This gem is a must go to. The staff was extremely friendly, good vibes all around.

Bellemara Distillery gives you a truly unique experience and I guarantee that you will love their drinks!!! I had the pleasure of meeting owners Camden and his lovely wife Christina when we visited for the educational tour and stayed for a few drinks. I recently visited them again, and this time I invited a few friends. They just hosted their first wedding reception upstairs which was really cool. So check them out if you have an upcoming event. Here's some additional info about Bellemara from their website: "The word Bellemara roughly translates to "beauty of the sea". In many ways, whisky is an embodiment of the sea, with its many flavors and complexities much like the sea's currents and tides, ebbing, flowing and changing over time. Our Founder and Head Distiller, Camden, had first-hand experience with the sea during his years in the Navy. He dreamed of how he wanted to create something that captured the calm and peaceful feeling that we all get when staring out over the ocean and the seed for Bellemara was planted." They have created something so special for us to enjoy! You will fall in love with the warm and cozy atmosphere but most importantly the hand crafted drinks were the bomb! The menu includes specialty drinks with single malt spirit or gin, also you create your own spanish style gin and tonic and they've listed a few recommendations. So let's support our local Distillery and stay tuned for Whiskey in the near future!

This place is great!! Downstairs you have the bar and some seating along with large windows to the distillery process. Open and bright vibe. We sat upstairs and it's so cozy! Couches, a fireplace, and soft lighting. It's a more intimate and warm vibe. The servers are amazing. So friendly without being overbearing or fake. We loved it here! I ordered the Caspian Jewel and loved it. Totally delicious. Husband ordered the Ursa Minor and loved his too. I also appreciate the reusable metal straws they use for their cocktails. Check my menu picture to see descriptions. Drinks are between $10-$15. So far, they don't sell bottles or offer tastings of their spirits because they only currently have one spirit. It's a "single malt spirit." When I asked the server what that meant, she said it was close to a vodka. They also have a small snack menu with prepackaged snacks such as olives, cheese & crackers, and popcorn. Snacks are between $2-$15. Looking forward to what this place brings once it's been open for a little longer. We will totally be back. Edit: after our visit here, we went to the brewery next door. Their bathrooms weren't in order, so the sign said to use the distillery bathrooms. When husband went over to use the distillery bathrooms, he had a weird experience with the guy sending him to a different building. Husband explained he had just been a customer at the distillery and still had his wrist band. Distillery guy still insisted he go to this other bathroom in a different building. Not sure why the distillery didn't just let him use their bathroom, especially since he was just there, but it left us with a less than 5 star impression.

I had the luck to experience a private tour of the distillery with the owners and they were extremely nice , helpful and willing to answer any questions. The distillery was very well kept , nice interior, beautiful upstairs lounge area, and very friendly staff! I tasted two different malts which he explained to us how to taste it and the background of the spirit which I really enjoyed.

Came to Bellemara for a distillery tour on a Sunday afternoon and was blown away by how cool it is and how great their cocktails are! The tour was super interesting and given by the owner, Camden, who is so kind and really knows his stuff. He gave us a bit of background on this brand new distillery and was willing to answer all the questions our group had! We learned how they make their current liquors (single malt gin and single malt spirit) and their plans for future whiskey production. We loved how focused Camden is on using high quality ingredients and producing the best possible spirits while keeping the environment and community in mind. They're currently all sold out of their liquors but we will check back for their gin in the future. They have interesting and exciting cocktail flavor combinations like you'll find at Verve in Somerville or Death & Co in the city. I got the Caspian Jewel and my husband got the Tony Gin and Tonic. The Caspian is made with amazing creamy pistachio orgeat (which like all their bitters and juices is house made). It is a tropical dream with lychee and green tea syrup but not too sweet or heavy. The Tony has a kick with jalapeños with cucumber, lime, and dill. They have snacks for sale but it seems like it's okay to bring your own food as well. I can't wait to come back with friends in the summertime and have a picnic outside with amazing cocktails. Come here for your next date night or get together with some friends!

Ok, this place is where it's AT. Classy vibes, relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere and transcendent drinks. The bartender is truly phenomenal at what he does. We got the botanical gin and tonics - my husband got the spicy and I got the fruity. If you can handle spice and alcohol together without getting heartburn this is definitely your drink. They have great seating options upstairs and downstairs and they also have changing table in the bathroom for infants/ kids which is very considerate. Will be coming again soon.

So I looked up wine bars and boom - VintEdge was right down the street. I came in around 9pm, picked a comfy seat by the window, and ordered. Can you believe I had never had an espresso martini until that evening?? So my first was a pumpkin espresso martini. Well I may have had 2. And another drink. Ahem. The service was great, not fussy, and I wasn't rushed even as we approached last call. Visit 2: having heard about my great experience there alone, my cousin arranged to meet me there last week. Or so she thought. Through a series of mutual miscommunications, I was here at the crib waiting for her, while she was at the wine bar waiting for me. It has a rustic farmhouse feel (wood floors with wide boards, multiple fireplaces) but still comes across as more upscale than your typical tavern. The dining room has a warm atmosphere without being too loud, so you can actually have a conversation without shouting. We started with the seasonal pickle plate (beets, carrots, cauliflower, cucumber, fennel, olives) and the bread plate (three different breads with two different butters and olive oil). Both were a good way to kick things off. The pickled vegetables had a nice variety and the bread was fresh and paired well with the accompaniments. For our entrees, my wife went with the homemade pasta while I chose the Wagyu NY strip steak cooked medium rare with bourbon maple glazed root vegetables. The steak was cooked exactly as requested and had great flavor. The root vegetables added a nice sweetness that complemented the dish well. My wife really enjoyed her pasta and had enough to take some home. To finish the night, we had the mozzarella gelato (yes, you read that right - mozzarella), along with tea for my wife and coffee and Sambuca for me. The gelato was a unique dessert and a nice way to wrap up the meal. Our waitress Jemma was very friendly and attentive throughout the night without being overbearing. Overall, everything was very good. This is definitely a place we would return to, especially for a nice dinner out.

The service was very friendly, and the food came out promptly. They also provided complimentary champagne for our celebration. For appetizers, the duck bacon and vegetable fritters ($16) and hand-made potato and cheese pierogies ($19) were ordered. The fritters consisted of house cured and smoked duck breast with a whipped lemon ricotta. There were two present and each were fried perfectly. The lemon ricotta was definitely needed to pair with the salty fritter. It was a great compliment. The pierogies were of the squash variety and they came with caramelized onions and sauteed greens. There were about five or six substantial size pierogies and each sized appropriately. The squash layer really made them airy and the filling was tasty. The onions were a little too soft as there was some type of broth present. The greens were ideal though. For an entrée, I had the signature tavern burger ($38). It was a cold smoked grass-fed ground beef patty with caramelized onion, bone marrow, bacon jam, and potato wedges. I also had the gruyere and bacon added to the burger for no extra fee. When I initially ordered, I thought the bone marrow was just going to be on the burger, but I was wrong. Right next to the burger was one of bigger bone marrows I have seen. It was very good with the onions and bacon pieces. The marrow itself paired nicely with the bacon and onions. For the burger itself, I opted for it to be medium rare, and it came out perfect. There was an ideal ratio of bread to filling. The bacon jam was not too overpowerful, and the meat was seasoned well. The potato wedges which I believe were cooked in tallow were also large. They were crispy and seasoned nicely too. It was a well put together meal. I also tried the lamb being offered that night which I believe came with a lamb sausage and a shallot tzatziki. This was solid as well, but there were a number of fatty pieces I was surprised to see. For dessert, the mozzarella gelato ($12) was ordered. Yes, this had to be ordered to give it a try, and it was well received. There was not an overpowerful flavor of cheese, which I was afraid of. It did taste like mozzarella, but not overwhelming. The actual gelato was very creamy too, which I am sure helped. Will I go back? I would.
