I was extra delighted last Sunday when I met up with my besties on their way back from PA to their home in Long Island. There's nothing my friends love more than books and beer so to finally be at the place where I enjoy both was very nice. They brought their 11yo daughter who also had a good time. It seemed like half of book club was there too lol which to me says a lot about this place - people CHOOSE to come here even when they don't "have" to. Special shout to owner Billy and bartender Nicole. I am typically quite introverted and due in part to them and others they work with I feel quite at home and talkative. I love it here! Also, I asked for the sangria but she gave me the Frose. The only promising one was the Passionfruit Orange Guava hard cider. I would go back because, like I said, I love the vibe, but I'm gonna try the sangria next time.

The name of the beer was Long Hill Lime which is a Lager. It was very refreshing and very, very flavorful. I was especially happy to have this beer during summertime! Flavor features in this beer are lime, crisp, a dry aftertaste or finish. All of it blends together nicely. The beer is light bodied and "crushable " which means it's very, very easy to have more than one in a single sitting.

Their menu is impressive - beers are divided into categories of light, Belgian, dark/malty, tart/sour, etc, and each beer has a detailed description next to it. This can be extremely helpful for people who may not know much about beer to find something they like. The beer we had was very good. They also have many of their beers canned and available for purchase to bring home. Overall a nice place, one we would probably visit more often if we didn't live an hour away!

Bright, flavorful, and refreshing, it was a great pour that kept us coming back for more. But the real showstopper of the night? Drifting Back.
