We visited Redington brewery on a Saturday afternoon. There were plenty of tables open to sit with shade as well as Adirondack chairs. We brought our kids with us so they could play on the playground while we enjoyed a few drinks. There are snacks available for purchase as well as a food truck that serves lunch items. The beers on top were delicious and the vibe was unmatched. It was a gorgeous day to just be outside, let the kids run around, and enjoy a few drinks and small bites.

Worst food truck and person ever.

So Readington Brewery is awesome. Great ambience, hosts, playground for kids.. and their beer is amazing. However... They rely on food trucks. Today they had Zio's (https://eatatzios.com/). Here was my experience: Worst food truck ever. 1pm open.. said oven warming up .. come back in 20 minutes. At 1:20 took order said 15-20 minutes. Came back 3 times after he said that .. final pickup was 3pm.. in the heat (90 outside).., with a baby.., he said " I told you it would take time" I respond.. "you said 20 minutes and it's almost 2 hours".. he said "I'm doing the best I can"... your best is not good enough.. plus food was below average. While not the breweries fault.. pick vendors who care about customers and reputation. This guy and truck don't even have google/yelp. It's still your name attached.

Great fresh beer. Friendly knowledgeable service. Have been here before and will be back. They tend to take home medals from the Denver Beer competition.

The sun was hot on the gravel lot, and the air smelled of peppers, onions, and bread. I started with the rice balls. They came warm, the crust thin and crisp, the inside soft with rice and cheese, a little salt, a little bite from the seasoning. They were gone too soon. The sausage and peppers came next sweet Italian sausage split and seared, the red peppers tender, the onions soft and sweet. The bread held it together, warm and sturdy, with just enough give to soak in the juices without falling apart. It was the kind of food that didn't need to brag. It was simple and honest, made to be eaten standing in the sun with a cold drink, the dog at your side, and nothing else on your mind.

I've been to a lot of great breweries in my life and this one ranks right up there with the best of them. The whole atmosphere of this place is welcoming and the whole staff I encountered were happy and friendly. The layout is spacious and the beers are excellent. They had a food truck and a couple food vendors when I was there but I opted for a vegetarian empanada with cheese and plantains and it was incredible. My girlfriend got a chicken one which she also said was excellent. There was live music playing outside and everyone was happy and their kids were running around happy as well. I love how everyone who comes to breweries are so happy and friendly. Thats my jam and that's why I go. To see happy people and enjoy excellent craft beers and support local. If you are ever in the area check this place out it won't disappoint. Enjoy :D

Chill atmosphere, welcoming staff, good selection of beers and also hard seltzer, kombucha and zero-proof hop seltzer for non-beer drinkers. There is food truck sometimes but they allow outside food. There is ample seating - indoor tables, porch seating and picnic benches on the lawn with live music over the weekends, play area for kids and lots of lawn space to hang around- great place to hangout with friends and family.

I love going to this place. It's an almost weekly weekend pilgrimage when the weather is good for the live outdoor music (indoors in the winter). Great and varied selection of beers. Staff is mostly extremely friendly. Bring your own food or order at the food trucks that are sometimes there. It's the closest thing to a beer garden that I've found in New Jersey. They even grow their own hops.

After living in the area for almost a year, I finally got around to stopping by Readington Brewery. As it was our first time, we went with two flights ($15 each for 4 tasters). I'm not a fan of IPAs so I went with their Choco-Nutter Porter, 1814 Stout, Red's Red Ale, and Beauregard Blueberry Wheat. My wife tried the Jägr Lager Czech Pilsner, Mt Fuji Japanese Lager, OBEN Hefeweizen and their local American lager. The Choco-Nutter reminded me of a Reese's. The 1814 had a strong roasted taste. I liked it. The Red's red ale was good but I think Ashton's Scarlet Knight is better. The Beauregard smells like a blueberry muffin and that's where the blueberry ends. I didn't get any blueberry notes. The Mt Fuji had a lemon scent and taste. I'm not familiar enough with Japanese lagers to know if that's expected. Of the four my wife got, she liked the local American lager best. There was a live band going on when we pulled up. Normally I check the hay cart parked on Route 202 for goings on. The woman behind the counter was very helpful in guiding my wife's flight choices based on her tastes. I'll definitely need to return more often.

This place is pretty good! Easy to get to and family friendly. Beer selection is good and the bartenders are super nice here.

Located on their Hop Farm, this brewery has a farmhouse feel to it from the outside scenery to the indoor decor. Wooden Tables and industrial chairs (not very comfortable) which has a full view of the brewing tanks and process. If your lucky you can see the brewmaster in action. They have a moderate selection of brews available,(not as vast as Icarus in Lakewood) which will offer something familiar and something new to craft beer drinkers of all levels. There are no Food options beside packaged chips/popcorn. They do plan on having food trucks (at the time of writing 1/26/22) but DO encourage outside food to be brought or delivered. We sampled most of the menu searching for that "one" that was the star of the show. Needless to say there were many stars of the show here. The beer here is well balanced, hopped perfect and allows the full body flavor to shine through. The top picks: Patriot American IPA (Delicately hopped and easy drinking with firm body) Churchill (ESB). One of my favs, More of a Malty Hopped beer with a very silky body. Oben (Hefeweizen) Smooth Wheat Beer German Style with a noticeable banana flavor that pleases the pallet, a star is born! Hop Bomber (Double IPA) Don't let the name intimidate you. Yes it's hoppy but not overfilled for the sake of it. Citra and Mosaic Hops shine through in this very drinkable Double IPA. 1814 (Irish Stout). Excellent Coffee and Espresso Tones here with a hint of Chocolate. A Must Try! If you made it this far lol, thank you. Now visit this brewery, get some grub, order in some food and enjoy your brews and a nice evening! One of the best breweries in New Jersey!

Came here on a Saturday and had a blast! The beer was great and reasonably priced. The live music was awesome. We also really enjoyed that we could bring our own food. Got super busy around 5pm. We got there at 3pm and got one of the last tables. Highly recommend coming here! Fun for people of all ages.

Went for lunch at a place that doesn't serve food but I knew enough to bring it with me. I tried three beers. I had a good double IPA which was not overly hopped. A black IPA which was somewhat porter like. Black IPA is a style I don't usually like but this one worked. I also had a saison which was the winner of the three. A lot of craft saisons are "off" . This wasn't. It was reminiscent of Saison DuPont. They also have goats and a little hop farm.

Great selection of solid beers in a nice setting. Bar tender was very friendly and helpful. Brewery has an octoberfest vibe with relaxed seating options. Outside there is picnic table seatings in a park like setting with hops growing, a kids playground and friendly goats.

My friend booked the tickets, so I thought we were only feeding goats, but we got a tour of the entire farm and got to interact with a lot of their rescues/residents there. The animals all appeared to be well taken care of and happy, which is the most important part. I 100% recommend buying a ticket and making the trip out to visit. Worth every penny :)

Rose Bridge is a sanctuary and working farm on land once owned by William Penn. Since 2013, the farm has become a 'forever home' for over 300 animals. Many of the animals are rescues from dairy farms, livestock auctions or other scenarios where they were at risk. They have several different activities, we opted for the Farm Fest, which combined several of the activities. The Farm Fest includes a mini farm animal husbandry tour, baby animal cuddling time, hands on craft activity, a beverage bar and an outdoor fire pit. It lasts about 2 hours. There were many parents there with children, but also adults like us by themselves. There are two times - 4-6 and 6:30-8:30. We went on the 4:00 tour. It was great! It was very interesting hearing how the animals came to the farm - it was so heartwarming to hear the stories of saving so many animals. However, I wasn't expecting the 'cuddling time' to be so much fun. We started with the goats - so friendly! They were nuzzling and 'pawing' us - I sat down and several came to me and wanted to be rubbed or held. I even had an opportunity to feed a baby goat its milk bottle! We interacted with pigs, sheep, a beautiful thoroughbred horse and a donkey! It was a very special experience! Afterwards we all went to a large barn and made crafts - specifically little planters we decorated, added dirt and seeds (large selection of flowers and vegetables seeds) to take home as a little souvenir. We had a dinner reservation so we left before the fire pit activity. Overall, it was a wonderful experience to be with these farm animals and to support such a worthwhile project.

As it turned out, the experience could not have been more positive! It's a beautiful and well-maintained property with ample parking. The alpaca stables (males in one, females in the other) were very clean, and the 26 alpacas are clearly loved and cared for. They were gorgeous, friendly, and healthy. The staff, mostly (if not all) volunteers, were lovely, from the young adult (late teens, early 20s) guides who accompanied us on the 20-minute walk with our assigned alpacas, to the senior ladies working in the gift shop. The gift shop has a wide range of lavender and alpaca wool products, as well as related themed products. I would up spending $36 on a variety of items, some of which were perfect, low-cost gifts. In response to the TripAdvisor complaints about items being "expensive," I found the prices to be reasonable and normal for homemade, hand-made, and locally sourced items, as well as for specialty items made elsewhere. I can't say enough positive things about the guides who accompanied my friend and I on the walk, and the young man who gave the entire group on our scheduled walk the preliminary background information about the alpacas and what we might expect on the walk. They did an excellent job and were very friendly and helpful. At the end of the walk they make time for pictures to be taken, and the animals seem to know the drill quite well because they obliged without a fuss on a very hot day. Overall I give this experience a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it for all ages.

It was fairly easy to find though going there, my map told me to go down a treacherous gravel road which I wasn't terribly fond of. They have a moderately sized parking lot and you'll see this large, red barn. That's where you get your goodies (there's often a line) and where their store is. We stopped by for a treat first. They sell ice cream, cider floats, and what is a "TikTok famous" coffee float with donut. We got: Cider ($4) - I didn't actually drink this. I got it for my kid with food allergies. He wanted ice cream but they do not know if the ice cream they use contains eggs or not so we played it safe. My kid thought it was okay but finally finished it later. He typically prefers regular apple juice. Cider float with donut - you have a choice of no donut for $2 less. It's like a root beer float but with cider instead of root beer, black and orange sprinkles around the time of the cup, whipped cream, and a powdered cider donut over it all. I shared this with my daughter. That donut was delicious! Warm, tender, and crisp on the outside. The drink was great! I do wish it came with a spoon because it got difficult finishing the last of it. Warning: if you have one of these, the bees are coming for you. They use some sort of caramel-like sauce to get the sprinkles to stick. Overall, quite good. Maple cider donut ($3): my sister got this and she said it was amazing, but she said she thought $3 was a bit much (the unglazed donuts are $1.25 each). She's vegan, so didn't partake in the float, but she also wasn't going to ask if there's milk in the donut. If you're getting only donuts, they are purchased in the store. They have tables and chairs nearby for you to picnic and enjoy your treats. Going through the gates, there was a table but they were busy with other people so we walked right in. There is no entrance fee, which was nice. You go through the apple orchard first. It seems like most of the apples have been picked through, though there are a lot of developing apples. Some of the nicer ones were way too tall for us; they don't provide ladders. We only managed to find one that looked nice. At the end, there used to be a sunflower field and the corn maze. It's epic but you don't know how formidable until you're past the point of return and realize it's not a kids maze. We were in there for a while! Even met other kids that thought they'd be lost forever. The corn stalks are taller than a human and they're pretty dense so you can't look over or through them. It's a true maze and I was impressed. I wish they would provide a paper maze puzzle of the corn maze because I'm so curious how it is from above. Lots of dead ends. What I can say is don't lose hope. You'll get there! (When we finally found the exit, it was almost like a dream because we had been staring at corn for so long.) In hindsight, it was good we ate something first. Once done, we explored the sunflowers and saw the pumpkin patch. As we headed out, we went to pay for our lone apple and we discovered THE CORN MAZE IS NOT FREE. It's $10 per adult and $5 per kid. They charged us $1 for the single apple. I guess they work on the honor system? I didn't mind much because that maze clearly took planning. Before we left, we visited the store full of baked goodies. I got a few cider donuts, a dumpling, and a piece of crumb cake because they just brought out a fresh tray. Plus a lattice harvest pie. The pies with crumble aren't vegan, but the lattice pies are made of vegetable shortening. Restrooms! They have a row of port-a-potties by the parking lot. They're actually the cleanest ones I've been to before. No sinks but they do have a dispenser of antibacterial hand gel. The openings are a bit large so if your kid needs to use the toilets, hold onto them. Overall, it was quite enjoyable and I definitely think everyone should go through a corn maze of this caliber at least once in their life. The apple pickings were sparse but at least you get delicious floats and donuts! Note: they have gluten free goodies in the store but they are nut based (almond flour). They also had one gluten free-vegan item.

A huge slide with a corn pit, a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin picking, food trucks, and so much more. Pro tips 1. Bring cash, they are cash only. $20 per person to get into the fall festival, there's usually a line because everyone wants to go, and if you forgot cash there is an ATM but the line for thr ATM seems even longer than the entrance line. Bring more than you think, it can get expensive, pumpkins are sold per pound. 2. Bring an extra bag. They do not allow large bags or coolers, however, there are food trucks, and if you'd like to purchase extra to bring home, the trucks do not have bags. It was difficult to walk around with several funnel cakes, drinks, candy apples, fried oreos etc without dropping anything. An extra bag would have been helpful. 3. Dress in layers. It gets cool quickly in the evening but during the day if it's sunny, it could feel comfortable or hot.
