I tried the bourbon and the rye. Both very good spirits. As a home distiller I appreciate the effort it takes to produce and serve aged whiskeys on a small scale. Great job!

One of the final stops of our families annual Peddlers Village visit was this wonderful little distillery and to-go bar. We stopped in and were greeted by the very kind and informative Hollie behind the counter, who went through the menu options with us and even gave us samples to try of the different spirits. I'm a whiskey lover and was pretty impressed with the red barn whiskey, so I made sure to purchase a bottle before leaving. Hollie went through the history of the distillery, the owners background and even some of the really interesting unique distilling processes. I made sure to grab a couple of quick photos as I was sipping and then we were on our way back out into the heat. We will definitely be adding this to our regular stops during our annual trips!

Great spot to stop for a drink, cozy up from the cold, or order liquid reinforcements when braving the cold weather! We came here on Sunday afternoon to peruse the holiday shops and see some decorations at Peddler's Village. My dad and husband both ordered Old Fashioned, and could not get over how smooth the bourbon was - both contemplated purchasing the bottle but didn't want to carry it around and risk dropping it (at $35/350mL that would be a BIG disappointment). Both, separately, mentioned it being one of the best Old Fashioned they've had. I ordered a Spiked Apple Cider with vodka, it was exactly what I wanted on that cold snowy day - plus the cider was local, which is always fun! My mom ordered a Pomegranate Cosmopolitan (Pom Cosmo, it was called). She loved it! Due to the fact that Peddler's Village is privately owned, you can take your beverages to go and drink whilst wandering around! As long as you don't stray from the brick walkway!

Favorite place to stop and get a spirit to walk around the village. It's fall so you must try the apple pie. If you like moonshine give it a try. Never had a bad drink here. Very friendly staff.

Empty hands, no drinks.

We stopped at their booth in peddlers village, the hot cider with bourbon and hot chocolate with peppermint vodka were both delicious!

Exterior looks like a house, really wouldn't know it was a restaurant if you weren't looking…read morespecifically for Porterhouse. Wifey and I sat downstairs near the bar at a table. Inside kind of feels like a farmhouse vibe with the browns and greens. The bar downstairs with the more formal seating upstairs is pretty cool. Service was good, waitress was warm and friendly; took our order timely, and wait times weren't overly long. My appetizer was forgotten at first but it was brought out a little after the meals were. I ordered the grouper finger appetizer and red snapper Provençal, and wifey had the filet mignon with sweet potato fries. My grouper fingers were light and fluffy with a touch of crisp from the coating. The snapper dish was tasty, not a fan of mushrooms but dealt with them since the overall combo of spinach, caper, and tomato went well. The fish was served skin side down, which was crispy. I get plating the accompaniments on top, but not on the skin, however should have removed the skin since it was pointless. The cookery of the fish was good, ends were a little chewy due to getting the skin crispy, but I didn't mind. The house rice was a bit mushy, but had a good flavor since the capers were also inside. Wifey's steak was cooked correctly and tasted good too. It came with bleu cheese and a butter sauce which went well with the fries and meat. She thought it was a nice meal. Overall, would return to Porterhouse if I ever visit Peddler's again.
