Staff was super patient with some boomers that were confused by the beers/ordering process. They have many drafts to choose from and even sell 4/6/12 packs to go. Plastic cups is a bit of a downer but totally understandable considering some rude people just get up from the table and can't even throw out their cups... Annoying. They took their Ralphius and aged it 2 years in various barrels. I picked up one aged in a port barrel, one in Heaven Hill barrel, Woodford Reserve Barrel, and another barrel pick that escapes me. I'm so glad I got to try this place especially during Covid. Most of the beers are on tap and if there's something specific you like, some of the beers are sold as a four pack for takeout. This place really adheres to social distancing. I made the mistake of entering from the deck and the gentleman told me I had to enter from the front entrance next time. ( note to self) They were kind enough to let me sample a few beers because I wasn't familiar with them or how'd they taste.They really had a nice assortment and some unusual flavors. I chose their Prickly Pear Margarita Mash, it was 7.5%. I really enjoyed this beer. It had a really good flavor and a beautiful rich ruby red color. I like citrusy beer so this was kind of up my alley. My friend had their mango wheat beer and he really enjoyed it. I got to taste it, and it reminded me of fresh mangos. It was a beautiful sunny day so I decided to sit outside on their deck, it was so relaxing. Everyone was spaced 6 ft. apart. I had a nice view of Peddler's Village while I enjoyed my beer. I had no idea that Free Will had a tap room at Peddlers Village, what an awesome surprise! My boyfriend and I came up to Peddlers Village for the Apple Festival, and my boyfriend was THRILLED to spend the afternoon shopping (hint, hint, sarcasm) so to find a place that he would enjoy was a real treat. The taproom itself was small, but cozy with to go cans in a refrigerator to your right and then the bar and taps to your right. If you go up they stairs and to the right, there is more seating around the corner. I've never actually heard of Free Will (sorry fam) so the bar tender was extremely nice and helpful with picking something out and offering information about the brewery (actually located in Perkasie) I ended up getting the Grapesciple because I enjoyed the sound or Merlot grapes being used (clearly a wine lover) and my boyfriend went for the C.O.B (coffee oatmeal brown) which is apparently one of his favorites (lol, I'm a horrible girlfriend for not knowing that). We stayed for about an hour and watched the Penn State game on their big screen. I enjoyed the cozy vibes and the great beers! So glad that Peddlers Village has added something to the mix that boyfriends and husbands (And girlfriends too, haha) will enjoy while their partners shop all day. read more

Enjoyed beers at Free Will Taproom when visiting Peddler's Village. They had a nice selection of options to choose from and provide a good space to enjoy them before walking around. Quality: Only tried two beers at Free Will Taproom, but confident they are a high quality brewery. The Kragle, a West Coast IPA, was very tasty and well-balanced. Even though they have several Hazy IPAs, this more nuanced IPA is the way to go. I also had the C.O.B., a coffee oatmeal brown ale. This was the ideal cold weather beer, adding warmth with each sip. Quantity: Eleven different beers on tap and a few bottle options as well. Value: $7-$8 for Draft Beers. Ambiance: Free Will Taproom is a brewery outpost located in Peddler's Village near New Hope, Pennsylvania. They have a large outdoor deck, which gave a nice view of the Christmas lights. It could use some heating lamps though. Inside, they have the bar at the front, then some tables up a few steps. The shape of the space is a bit weird, definitely set-up to encourage guests to grab a beer to walk around the shops with. Crowd: A small crowd both inside and outside on Wednesday evening. While an IPA wouldn't have been my first choice, I decided to stick to the suggestion, and I wasn't disappointed. It was hoppy yet refreshing and not overwhelming at all. If you're not feeling like walking around with your brew, snag a stool at their bar or cuddle in their cozy lounge area. On a short East Coast visit, one of my local buddies decided we needed to 'run an errand' away from our respective families, and lo' and behold we found ourselves at Free Will Taproom in Peddler's Village (which is an open-air style shopping area). Being a weekend afternoon, the small space was packed and the line to order was long. Vibe - casual beer spot; no food; low key. Tables and chairs on one side with some couches and comfy chairs on another. The space was oddly shaped and use of space was very inefficient. We totally lucked into an open spot (beer karma?) but had no actual tables to place our beers on; we used the floor. On the plus side. they had an interesting beer selection. I did a small taster flight, as follows: -- CA-style IPA which was good but a little off for me (3.5*) -- Hazy IPA which was not overly sweet (unlike most hazies) (3*) -- Barrel-aged farmhouse, which was almost a sour. Quite nice (4*) -- Brown ale with coffee and coconut - Hefty; A fireside, slow-sipper (4*) Due to the pressing crowds and the loud, cramped interior we couldn't get very comfortable here, but we did opt to wait in line one more time to get some cans to stock up my buddies fridge. (...and perhaps sample a few more back at the ranch). All in all, a decent spot to grab some craft brews, but they suffered from a strange, cramped feng shui. I came with a friend who was used to traveling into PA and we came to his favorite around Peddler's Village. Christine was our bartender. It was pretty quiet when we were there, but there seems to be a regular group of the people who always hang around here. They were very amicable and munificent of giving us a lot of locations to try out for dinner. I had there "Satisfying Chaos", which was an Imperial Chocolate Stout and my friend ordered, "Bolded Bubbles," which was a Brut IPA. They were great, but I strongly preferred the Stout. Okay, someone finally put together a stop for the people who want something to keep them going while shopping in Paddler's Village (actually Hewn Spirits, right around the corner did it first). Seriously, this is a great idea that is a nod to the many people looking for good craft beers. Free Will turned an empty store into a very nice tasting room with plenty of tables and couches to relax at while enjoying the beers. I tried the Ralphius, with a slight taste of chocolate and bourbon, Ella, a really good Quad and Cuvee Aigre - pucker up, baby! Super fun to have this brewery right in the heart of Peddler's Village! It was nice to grab a drink while walking through and enjoying the scarecrow festival this fall. Free will is a great spot! It made our day in Peddler's Village that much better. I can honestly say that the parking and the line is well worth it for a quality ipa. While shopping you can grab some beer to go and just walk around. Great concept! The line can be a bit long. They do have 2 entrances so that's a bit confusing as far as the line goes. They do offer a good amount of ipa beer in both cans and draft. Great spot and great beer. Their prices are fair as well. Next time we're up we will stop back in. read more

YOU CAN GET BEER TO GO AND WALK AROUND OUTSIDE WITH IT. I guess because I'm young and was by myself they didn't ask if I wanted to start a tab. They charged me per beer. No checks, just "Can I have (insert beer)?" (...) "5 bucks." I imagine if you have more people or look like you're going to get smashed they'll start a tab and give you a check. It worked for me. I only wanted to try a few. They have some neat shirts and whatnot. The best beer I had was Cloudy with a Chance of Charcuterie, and it really blows that they didn't have it in cans (and when I asked the main location in Perkasie, they said it's scheduled for canning this week and will be both here and the main location with very limited distro). I don't like growlers because they go bad very easily (making this not very accessible to me other than on tap). I guess I'll just have to come to Peddler's Village more often... read more

Been going to Perkasie since the good old days of being in the basement and getting the samples. they have come a long way, and they still are pumping out great beer. Miss Mike, but they have some good and more of course staff, Andrew does a great job! Hope they stay true to their roots. One of my favorites was named after one of the new guys" mistakes". Dom and his partner have done a good job, "paving" the way to good beer in Perkasie and Peddler's village, have to say the vibe is different in PV, but the beers are the same, great. read more

Free Will is my favorite local brewery and I like the Techno IPA a lot. I enjoy going to the taproom and getting a flight and trying current beers on taps, as well as trying new releases. An excellent example of a craft beer taproom. I absolutely love this place. Very well appointed with comfortable furniture and tables throughout. Excellent music always coming over the speakers--anything from Sam Cook, Creedence, Zeppelin, to Steely Dan. The staff is fantastic--a bunch of uber-personable, knowledgeable personalities who are so much fun to be around. You literally feel like you're around a bunch of friends with these folks. Their fearless leader Samantha is a real gem. Her knowledge of beer astounds me. She's literally consuming a colossal manual on Indian Pale Ales as we speak (if you can imagine such a book exists?!?!), while also flawlessly overseeing every single aspect of this place. Lest not forget to mention the goods-- these folks do a little bit of everything, however IPAs and Sours are their forte. They have a New England Style IPA called Cloudy with a Chance of Charcuterie. The name baffles me to this day but the beer owns my soul! Beautifully balanced, thick as blood, this neon orange unfiltered beauty bursts forth with an abundance of malt and citrus with every sip. If you're in the mood for a sour, give the Impromptu Dance Party a shake. Amply flavorful and tangy tart like a 9volt battery to your tongue. It's crazy good. Popped in after coming into Peddler's Village from New Hope. As my wife and daughter went into a clothing shop I spotted the sign for Free Will Brewing Co and made a bee line around the corner (didn't know they were there). Didn't have anything there, but did grab beer to go(from can cooler). MicroManager and Techno IPA's, and PV Fest Marzen. The IPA's are good, the Marzen was alittle lite, could have been a bit malty(er) for my taste. Definitely will make more frequent visits to PV. read more

This was our first time visiting the tap room. We have been at the main brewery once before where there are twice as many taps, however the selection here is just perfect.
