Fun place for the family, lavender and animal lovers. Can buy pellets to feed the alpacas. The lavender linen spray at the gift shop has a nice fragrance. Fun pit stop if you are in central jersey!

Went to visit this past weekend & it was a nice area. We got to feed and pet some cute Alpacas! There's even a little baby there. This was my first visit (definitely not the last), but it seems the lavender fields were not quite open yet. :( The shop was so nice. We ended up buying a bunch of things like the alpaca socks and culinary lavender. The socks are so cute and comfyy!!! I think I want more, haha. I overheard the woman at the register and a customer and they seem super knowledgeable when it came to caring for the lavender plants they were selling outside. I have attempted to keep a lavender plant before and maybe some of the things she mentioned is why it didn't stick around too long (so when I have space, time, & money I will definitely be purchasing from them and trying again). :)

This farm in Skillman is so cute! We went to pet and feed some alpacas on a Saturday. The farm was pretty quiet since there wasn't a special event happening. We browsed the gift shop first to see their lavender products and to buy some alpaca food for $1! Then we went outside to see the adult and baby alpacas. They were so cute, fluffy and friendly. The farm also has a lavender field but in April they are still growing and haven't bloomed yet. We'll be stopping by in June to catch the lavenders in full bloom!

What a lovely day trip - less than an hour from Cherry Hill. This small but boutique farm has a lovely field of lavender growing in various stages. There is no fee to take personal photographs, but professional photography is not allowed. Just please, I know you want to take 9,473 selfies, but be kind and let others walk by. And vice versa - if you see someone taking pictures, take a minute to wait until they are done or move out of their shot. If you are afraid of bees or allergic to them, stay away. For the rest of us, we need bees - bees are life and it is fantastic to see them thriving here. Alpacas are fun to visit and the shop, also tiny, has some fun items to purchase.

What a cute little gem spot. The alpacas were so friendly and curious, it took all my willpower to not jump fence and cuddle up with these cuties! There are little dollar baggies of food you can buy to feed the alpacas which is the most adorable thing you'll be doing all month long. There is also a little lavender farm and gift shop where everything is lavender based and alpaca fur hand made! The ladies working in the shop take great pride and of course I couldn't leave without a souvenir of an herbal blend tea bath pouch. Can't wait to test one out! This place is great for kids or adults just looking for a little time in nature with natures critters!

I visited Hidden Springs the weekend of July 4th. The farm is so awesome! It is very clean and the lovely women working there are very nice. The alpacas were well behaved and loved to be fed snacks (that you can buy for $1 inside the lavender store). You can tell the owners care for the animals and that they are happy. We had such a blast, can't wait to come back. The lavender shop is great too, they make their own products and they're great quality!

My sister loves alpacas so I surprised her with a trip here and she loved it!! The alpacas were adorable with beautiful coats of fur. You can tell they're well cared for. We paid for the 15 min "walk an alpaca" activity where the staff teach you about alpacas and the best way to walk them. Afterwards you get to walk an alpaca on your own which was a bit difficult because they would much rather eat the grass but it was a great experience regardless. We'll definitely be back, probably when it's warmer!

We stumbled upon this place driving home from a hike at Sourlands. I initially thought it was a garden center selling an assortment of lavender plants. It's actually a great little gift shop with everything under the sun made out of lavender. As soon as you step foot inside, the amazing scent of lavender permeates the air. They had everything from the obvious such as lotions, soaps and candles to things such as deodorant, pet shampoo, and carpet refresher - all made out of lavender. It was quite an assortment of items. Everything is made on-site, which is very impressive. They were selling very small plants of lavender too. Priced at $10, it seemed a little high for the tiny little sprig. I've bought much bigger plants of lavender from my local garden center at a cheaper price point.

Cute little spot to check out! We just stopped by for the gift shop which had a bunch of cool things, but I'd like to come back for the horses and alpacas that I saw online too! The people that worked here were super friendly also which always makes you wanna come back

The people here are such sweethearts! It was a great experience and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit. The alpacas are super cute and we had such an amazing time.

Were there on July 23rd, 2017 and missed the peak season. It seems the butterflies and bees were attracted to and needed the flowers much more than we do.

There wasnt any pumpkin left in the field to pick and the apples were not event there on the trees. I would definitely have to say hand down to the cute little store - there was a bakery side and oh my gosh the donuts , the cookies and the Tik Tok famous drink was out of this world. So the 2 hour trip was definitely worth the drive. The service was okay the individuals behind the counter to order the Tik Tok drink had a bit of a attitude when I was asking about questions. Just stay patient. Other then that I would highly recommend coming here and trying a piece of all of there different donuts and cookies are soo soo good. They even had a pumpkin cider donut which I never had before. Don't forget to stop by and check them out.

I hear it can…read moreget crowded on the weekends, but on Thursday when we arrived a little before noon, it wasn't bad. They had a steady stream of newcomers but not too crowded. It was fairly easy to find though going there, my map told me to go down a treacherous gravel road which I wasn't terribly fond of. They have a moderately sized parking lot and you'll see this large, red barn. That's where you get your goodies (there's often a line) and where their store is. We stopped by for a treat first. They sell ice cream, cider floats, and what is a "TikTok famous" coffee float with donut. We got: Cider ($4) - I didn't actually drink this. I got it for my kid with food allergies. He wanted ice cream but they do not know if the ice cream they use contains eggs or not so we played it safe. My kid thought it was okay but finally finished it later. He typically prefers regular apple juice. Cider float with donut - you have a choice of no donut for $2 less. It's like a root beer float but with cider instead of root beer, black and orange sprinkles around the time of the cup, whipped cream, and a powdered cider donut over it all. I shared this with my daughter. That donut was delicious! Warm, tender, and crisp on the outside. The drink was great! I do wish it came with a spoon because it got difficult finishing the last of it. Warning: if you have one of these, the bees are coming for you. They use some sort of caramel-like sauce to get the sprinkles to stick. Overall, quite good. Maple cider donut ($3): my sister got this and she said it was amazing, but she said she thought $3 was a bit much (the unglazed donuts are $1.25 each). She's vegan, so didn't partake in the float, but she also wasn't going to ask if there's milk in the donut. If you're getting only donuts, they are purchased in the store. They have tables and chairs nearby for you to picnic and enjoy your treats. Going through the gates, there was a table but they were busy with other people so we walked right in. There is no entrance fee, which was nice. You go through the apple orchard first. It seems like most of the apples have been picked through, though there are a lot of developing apples. Some of the nicer ones were way too tall for us; they don't provide ladders. We only managed to find one that looked nice. At the end, there used to be a sunflower field and the corn maze. It's epic but you don't know how formidable until you're past the point of return and realize it's not a kids maze. We were in there for a while! Even met other kids that thought they'd be lost forever. The corn stalks are taller than a human and they're pretty dense so you can't look over or through them. It's a true maze and I was impressed. I wish they would provide a paper maze puzzle of the corn maze because I'm so curious how it is from above. Lots of dead ends. What I can say is don't lose hope. You'll get there! (When we finally found the exit, it was almost like a dream because we had been staring at corn for so long.) In hindsight, it was good we ate something first. Once done, we explored the sunflowers and saw the pumpkin patch. As we headed out, we went to pay for our lone apple and we discovered THE CORN MAZE IS NOT FREE. It's $10 per adult and $5 per kid. They charged us $1 for the single apple. I guess they work on the honor system? I didn't mind much because that maze clearly took planning. Before we left, we visited the store full of baked goodies. I got a few cider donuts, a dumpling, and a piece of crumb cake because they just brought out a fresh tray. Plus a lattice harvest pie. The pies with crumble aren't vegan, but the lattice pies are made of vegetable shortening. Restrooms! They have a row of port-a-potties by the parking lot. They're actually the cleanest ones I've been to before. No sinks but they do have a dispenser of antibacterial hand gel. The openings are a bit large so if your kid needs to use the toilets, hold onto them. Overall, it was quite enjoyable and I definitely think everyone should go through a corn maze of this caliber at least once in their life. The apple pickings were sparse but at least you get delicious floats and donuts! Note: they have gluten free goodies in the store but they are nut based (almond flour). They also had one gluten free-vegan item.

It was $20(Kinda Pricey) for entrance but it includes a good amount of things to do. I added a picture that lists what all is included. When you arrive, there's a hay ride that takes you to the festival from the parking lot! Very kid friendly and lots of photo opportunities. My favorite part was the corn maze and the pumpkin patch. There are a few things that aren't included in the price. I saw a pumpkin cannon launcher that was extra and it was pretty cool to watch! The food isn't amazing and a bit pricey but it's to be expected really at something like this! They had BBQ, lemonade stand, funnel cakes, Playa Bowls and one of the food trucks had seafood. A huge slide with a corn pit, a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin picking, food trucks, and so much more. Pro tips 1. Bring cash, they are cash only. $20 per person to get into the fall festival, there's usually a line because everyone wants to go, and if you forgot cash there is an ATM but the line for thr ATM seems even longer than the entrance line. Bring more than you think, it can get expensive, pumpkins are sold per pound. 2. Bring an extra bag. They do not allow large bags or coolers, however, there are food trucks, and if you'd like to purchase extra to bring home, the trucks do not have bags. It was difficult to walk around with several funnel cakes, drinks, candy apples, fried oreos etc without dropping anything. An extra bag would have been helpful. 3. Dress in layers. It gets cool quickly in the evening but during the day if it's sunny, it could feel comfortable or hot.
