Review as of June 2022 - my friend and I originally wanted to come to take pictures of the lavender, but on the website we saw that they needed help with weeding! So we went and spent one hour weeding in a small fenced area! The weather was luckily not too hot and the hour flew by. Afterwards, we were rewarded with two small pots of lavender per person. I also got some of their organic honey which was so fresh and delicious! Before leaving, we stopped by to see the animals and took some pretty pictures! A great little farm to visit and if they still need volunteers to weed, I'd definitely recommend it!

I happened to find this place while wandering around Princeton New Jersey while my daughter was at soccer camp. They have sign practically telling you to stop by, so you can't miss it! Right on the side of the road, they have a little parking lot adjacent to a little shop where you can get bundles of lavender, lavender infused honey, and lavender lemonade! Most people who were there got some lemonade and some paid for entry into their farm. You could also get a cup of food for any and all the animals at the farm! Once you paid for your admission into the farm, you could see their lavender fields and their animals! It is a small mom and pop business and you can tell they put a lot of hard work into their farm! If you have a chance to check them out, it would be worth the visit! If anything, you must try their lavender lemonade!

The last market is on November 21st for 2024. We visited on Halloween for their special Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest and it was so much fun! Cute pups took the stage and everyone was a winner! The live band emceeing was great and very funny introducing all the pups and the crowd was lively cheering them on. The market is located in Hinds Plaza right in the middle of downtown Princeton and is a beautiful spot to browse all the vendors selling a wide variety of goods including these we said hello: Khloe's Paw Pastries - homemade dog treats with human grade ingredients! Freshly baked and so soft! Catalina Empanadas - homemade empanadas and the sweetest owners! Dogs love them too! Longview Flowers - the most gorgeous flowers and bouquets based on seasonal availability! Lost Bread Co. - my eyes immediately darted to the seedy sourdough and it was love at first bite. So many fresh baked loaves to choose from! Small World Coffee - they specialize in coffee, hot and cold caffeinated beverages, pastries and more with 2 locations in Princeton. Nutty Novelties - gourmet and flavored nut butters! They make cute gift bundles! And so many more... Come visit: Hinds Plaza (right in front of Witherspoon Grill) 55 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ 08542 Paid parking is available on the street and in the Spring Street Garage right next to the market. If you are still hungry after noshing at the market, Witherspoon Grill allows leashed dogs on their patio!

I came for one item, and I found it at the stall for Fruitwood orchards( peas!) there are about 3 other good local farms here too. Prices on the same items vary from farm to farm so it's best to walk through once before you make your selections. There are a few bakeries represented, and usually a few dairies. You can also find local pickles, honey, jams and salsas, soap, and even some snack items. Tip; if you park in the garage by library you have half an hour for free. Good luck with that though....

I was really thrilled to see the "Tiny Pricks" art project /exhibition come to Princeton…read more Only to find out that it originated here. It's nice to see so many community based activities happening and how celebrated wholeheartedly in this gallery. I'm a big fan of the tiny pricks project. And the opening of this show had presentations and speakers by the staff. Their style is very admirable. They seem to really cherish the local people who took the time to read such lovely pieces for this project. The pillowcases had embroidery. And it really told a little story of the artist. Perhaps it's something they appreciated in there in their hometown, or maybe it's some thing that concerns them , like the war going on in Uzbekistan, or the changing seasons, or concern for recent loss of Woman's Rights in The States. And it's embroidered so that seems so wholesome and so feminine and time engaging so every piercing of the fabric is so personal. Nice venue. Nice folks.

All of the dishes were excellent.  Also had a side of Fioretto Cauliflower $12 that was creative though not too plentiful.  Really appreciated that they list the farms where they source their ingredients.  The beers were superb, Hazy IPA, Bohemian Pilsner and Keller Pils.  The sports bar has a different menu with more of the types of dishes you'd expect at a brew pub. It is however dark and less inviting. In part that's the rub here. As much as we appreciated the quality of the food and gorgeous setting the fact that it is part of a brewery becomes somewhat irrelevant. We had beer because we were there but the dishes begged for wine. I'd have preferred a beautiful beer hall rather than the full fine dining experience. Just a bit too upscale for a brewery. Service was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. .

This time, we were there to just hang out at the bar, so we went down to the basement, which is really nicely decorated! I opted for one of their brews, I think a dark lager, which tasted pretty good, though I didn't end up finishing it. I got to chat a bit with one of the bartenders, who was really cool and helped me out a bunch with some much needed water! I think his name was Herman. Pretty chill spot in my opinion, would come back for another outing with friends or colleagues.
