Freshly baked and so soft! Catalina Empanadas - homemade empanadas and the sweetest owners! Dogs love them too! Prices on the same items vary from farm to farm so it's best to walk through once before you make your selections. There are a few bakeries represented, and usually a few dairies. You can also find local pickles, honey, jams and salsas, soap, and even some snack items. Tip; if you park in the garage by library you have half an hour for free. Good luck with that though....

D'Angelo Italian Market is located a few blocks away from the Princeton campus. It is a corner store with some street parking around, along with a parking garage right across the street. I have been told parking is strictly enforced by the city around here, so make sure to pay for street parking when you go. The inside is that of an Italian deli and market, but more. There is seating inside, and also some outdoor tables. There is not table service, but you order at the counter and then can enjoy your meal. We had a part of 7, and were able to push a few tables together inside to eat. They have a ton of deli options, but also have baked goods, breads, and pizza slices that you can buy from the counter. Additionally, there is a large menu of other food items that are made to order. There are also cooler drinks to choose from. The staff were all so friendly. It appears they know their frequent customers, and they greet them as they come in. Though I was a new customer, I felt welcomed and thought all of my questions were answered in a kind manner. We ordered several items, with one being the Eggplant Rollatini for an appetizer. This was so good, as I love eggplant in Italian dishes. It was filled with cheese, but still crispy and delicious even in all the sauce. We ordered more rolls than what is on the menu since we had several people. Additionally, we sampled several of the pizza slices - Margherita Pizza, Parmigiana Pizza, Vodka Sauce Pizza. I enjoyed each of them. The crust is thin and crispy, as you would expect from a place like this. They were all good, but the classic Margherita was probably my favorite. For my sandwich, I got the Turkey Supreme Hero. It was really good and had a ton of meat on it. I love a good turkey sandwich, and this was exactly that. After seeing what the sandwiches on the rolls looked like, I probably would have gotten that instead of the Hero. Nonetheless, it was still very good. Our table got some other items, like the Princeton Tiger Hero, Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries, and a Pepperoni Roll. No one had anything they did not enjoy. Did not get the chance to try either the desserts or any of the all day breakfast items. The next time I visit, I would definitely want to try some of those menu items! Like I said, I very much enjoyed my first visit to D'Angelo's. Everything was delightful, the staff were very friendly, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the shop. It's right next to Princeton's campus and the Battle of Trenton Memorial. My husband is a big fan of all the Signers of the Declaration, and unlike a more restored house about the people who owned the house, it focuses on the Stockton family who lived here and the American Revolution and a special exhibit. We were actually here for a few hours since there's a lot of signs to read and a lot of Richard Stocktons who lived in the house, followed by some governors. When I went, there was also a really interesting exhibit on Ma Bell and the history of telecommunications upstairs. This was a great historical site, a cheap price, and a nice space. Would love to come back when the garden is in bloom, and I will look out for future exhibitions as they rotate in.

It's nice to see so many community based activities happening and how celebrated wholeheartedly in this gallery. I'm a big fan of the tiny pricks project. And the opening of this show had presentations and speakers by the staff. Their style is very admirable. They seem to really cherish the local people who took the time to read such lovely pieces for this project. The pillowcases had embroidery. And it really told a little story of the artist. Perhaps it's something they appreciated in there in their hometown, or maybe it's some thing that concerns them , like the war going on in Uzbekistan, or the changing seasons, or concern for recent loss of Woman's Rights in The States. And it's embroidered so that seems so wholesome and so feminine and time engaging so every piercing of the fabric is so personal. Nice venue. Nice folks.
