Close to home and just what we were looking for. Late Oct and still lots of apples on the trees…read more Sadly lots on the ground too and people who just can't but help to act like animals. Aside from that it was a fun outing with the family. Only about 40 months from home. Great fall weather and the picking was fun. We finished by going to the market which was a nice treat. We got some fresh, hot apple cider donuts and some other sweets. I'm glad we have this place a try. Typically we drive hours for the same experience. The apple prices were by the pound. I think $1.79 or something like that.

We arrived around 1pm and the orchard was not over crowded. Plenty of space to walk around and their peaches/nectarines tasted amazing. It was like nectars from the gods. Lol. There are free parking and entrance and their peaches/nectarines were $1.89 lbs. Very reasonable in my book. It's cash only so make sure you bring plenty of cash. When done, you should also visit their store. There are plenty of baked good and other delicious things to buy and they had a tasting station so that was cool too. Definitely don't leave without buying one of their pies. I brought half of their peach pies and my roommate and I loved it. Would I come back here again. Hell yesssss!!! This will not be my go to spoke going forward. It's only about 1hr-1.5hr from Brooklyn.

"We are a real working farm; we have activities that I used to do when I was a child. This is not…read morea fall festival." This above statement couldn't be any more factual. This place is a REAL farm, operating since 1860, and is simply magical. You will find only the most wonderfully friendly staff, the most sincere pumpkin patch that Linus would be proud of, and a memorable day outside in the beauty of nature and what makes farm life, farm life. For $5 per person, you are covered for a hay ride to and from the pumpkin patch. A REAL pumpkin patch; not just pumpkin purchased and thrown in a field with straw. Like, maybe bring a small knife to cut these babies free to take home with you! The ride around was super cute with how they decorated the property (I won't completely spoil it for you!) and allowed you to take in the little changes in fall foliage peeking out. For $8 per person, you get access to pick your own flowers for $1 per sunflower and $0.50 per other flower variations, as well as a corn pit, tractor tire tower, obstacle course, basketball hoops, slides, and more. Our 4 year old absolutely had a BALL in the corn kernel pit and the slides really tested his bravery. You could tell the vibe was less about posing for the most perfect photo and more about just being together with family and friends. The two food trucks on location had responsibly prices pork rolls, hot dogs, apple cider donuts and drinks, whereas if you wanted to splurge and be a foodie, they had a BBQ food truck as well. Again, wonderfully friendly staff and the hot dogs have been approved by my toddler. Cash is much appreciated here, even though they do accept credit cards. This is OUR farm now and I can't wait to come back before the end of the season!

The kids had a blast with all the activities, there was bowling, basketball, 3 corn mazes, a few playgrounds for the kids to climb on and a bunch of corn pits. Make sure to check out the pumpkin patch and pick a pumpkin, the ride is so nice and it's great to go to a patch where you can pick it off the vine. Pro tip- Get the apple cider donuts early the line can get long Pro tip- bring lawn chairs and extra snacks for the brewery next door

Cash only place but they do have an ATM onsite with small service fees!…read more At least when I went on October 1st. It was $20(Kinda Pricey) for entrance but it includes a good amount of things to do. I added a picture that lists what all is included. When you arrive, there's a hay ride that takes you to the festival from the parking lot! Very kid friendly and lots of photo opportunities. My favorite part was the corn maze and the pumpkin patch. There are a few things that aren't included in the price. I saw a pumpkin cannon launcher that was extra and it was pretty cool to watch! The food isn't amazing and a bit pricey but it's to be expected really at something like this! They had BBQ, lemonade stand, funnel cakes, Playa Bowls and one of the food trucks had seafood. Over all a good experience to visit once a year with larger group on nice fall day, support your local farms and farmers!

Always a fun time at Snyger's Farm Fall Festival in Somerset, NJ. Snyders has so much for kids to…read moredo. A huge slide with a corn pit, a corn maze, hayrides, pumpkin picking, food trucks, and so much more. Pro tips 1. Bring cash, they are cash only. $20 per person to get into the fall festival, there's usually a line because everyone wants to go, and if you forgot cash there is an ATM but the line for thr ATM seems even longer than the entrance line. Bring more than you think, it can get expensive, pumpkins are sold per pound. 2. Bring an extra bag. They do not allow large bags or coolers, however, there are food trucks, and if you'd like to purchase extra to bring home, the trucks do not have bags. It was difficult to walk around with several funnel cakes, drinks, candy apples, fried oreos etc without dropping anything. An extra bag would have been helpful. 3. Dress in layers. It gets cool quickly in the evening but during the day if it's sunny, it could feel comfortable or hot.

I don't think there was a petting zoo though, if that is part of your childhood memories (I used to go to Tice's & Van Riper's). Our intent was to get a pumpkin to carve (they are a bit pricey!) and some cider. We were blown away, though, by the market, which has everything, including a lot of "gifty" items (chocolate lollipops, coffee, fudge, coffee, etc.) and farm stand produce. We also indulged in the apple fritters, sold in a food truck outside. They were amazing! They somehow combined the best of a healthy, fresh apple treat with fried, funnel cake decadence. We decided that we will be coming here every fall from now on!

Grabbed some organic produce which was all excellent- didn't love that the conventional section was much much bigger and there were less organic options. The bakery though is what brings it up to 5 stars- first of all, wish I had my kids with me because they would have enjoyed the experience. There's a burger window outside, a little cafe inside, a truck 'play structure' outside for little ones with a little slide.. beautiful plants and trees for sale .. the most delicious smelling jasmine plant I wish I took home.. a plethora of truffle cheeses (and other interesting cheeses)... and best of all the bakery. The raspberry cream puff was off the charts amazing. So good that I took a picture of it after slicing to post here. There are things I'd skip (really expensive organic eggs for instance.. rather go to Whole Foods for those and pay less) but otherwise - worth a visit if you're in the vicinity !

However, once we parked and got our tickets, things started moving better. There was more breathing room. This is not a traditional farm where you can pick your own berries. They may have that option, but we went for the activity section that they created. There were corn mazes for all sizes, games, and activities for all ages. There was a fenced kids section for smaller kids that was nice. Food was disappointing. Lines were extremely long and prices high. I would recommend eating before going. While my initial impression of this farm Was stress inducing, I was able to relax once we got into the games and activities it offered. Overall, not what I expected, but a nice experience that I would recommend to others.

It was beautiful and there's so much to do. My only issue is how crowded it gets. Even waiting on line for food is insane. The food line is cash only btw. The second time i came i played to smarter. I started off at the pumpkin area and then worked my way towards the sunflowers and food after. Was able to take all the photos i wanted this way. We also did the corn maze both times. It was less crowded at the pumpkin area doing it this way bc most ppl go there towards the end to leave with pumpkins. Would def come back but try a weekday next time even if some of the family friendly activities are closed.
