Truly magical store located in downtown Scottsdale. There are several stores that feature pieces crafted by Native Americans. However, the difference between them and Native-Bay is when my group and I entered the store we were immediately greeted by Rosalie. This greeting was warm and she was considerate of what we were looking for. Rosalie demonstrated great patience and, more importantly, educated me on the skill of crafting as a way of life for many tribal groups in Arizona, including the Hopi and Navajo. I selected two sterling pieces for my father and uncle with the intention of them becoming heirloom pieces. I purchased a lovely natural turquoise necklace from this company on Amazon. The necklace lays beautifully on my neck and the craftsmanship was exemplary. The only thing about this necklace that would have made it better for me was if the turquoise was a bit bluer and less green. One of the things I find truly amazing about this company is that it supports Native American craftsman. I was sitting in a hotel lobby in Scottsdale after a fantastic first leisure trip to the Southwest. While waiting for the rest of my party, I was browsing Amazon and found the pendant with Kokopelli and the sleeping beauty turquoise and could not resist the impulse purchase. Lucky for me! The pendant is larger than I expected and beautifully crafted, it also arrived quickly in packaging suitable for a gift - but I kept it for myself.
