This is an odd review but they really helped me out. My son (who is very young) found a ring with his friends on a playground. They all decided to try it on, he puts it on his finger, ring gets stuck. School nurse couldn't get it off, ice, olive oil, elevation, Windex, floss, all kinds of methods fail. This ring was never going to get taken off that finger in one piece. Finger is swollen, now we have a problem. Googled the issue, found that some Jewelers will cut off stuck rings. I had no idea, I don't make it a habit getting rings stuck on my fingers. I gave Ganem Jewelers a call, they offered to cut the ring off. We arrive, I am wearing jeans and covered in oil from work. This place is upscale, very nice jewelry. The staff was very kind, and they cut the ring off without any issue. They were kind to my son the entire time and made us feel welcome. I am clearly not the market this store is targeting, but hey, if you are in the market for some very nice jewelry, they even treat people covered in oil wearing jeans extremely well. Went in to have a different watch put on an old custom band and was told that it wouldn't fit. Took it to another jeweler in Gilbert and had it fitted in less than a minute with no problem. I just think the jeweler didn't want to be bothered with it because he felt the work was beneath him. James helped me get my engagement ring sized today, which was not purchased from Ganem, and he could not have been nicer. Generally when you bring something to a jeweler that was not purchased there, they don't want to be bothered. However, he went above and beyond to show me the diamond under a microscope, which I hadn't seen before, explain the entire sizing process to me based on the metal (platinum band), and so forth. I brought my Breitling watch to Ganem for battery replacement. They are supposed to be a Breitling genuine dealer. My watch was sent out for replacement (400 meter diving watch). I picked it up - all seemed ok. The next month I needed to update the "date" using the crown (dial). It did not work. I sent it back to Breitling myself. Very expensive repair. They told me there was No Battery service thru Ganem. They said the battery replacement not certified broke the crown. I do NOT trust Ganem. read more

Ganem came recommended by a friend. I took my Breitling watch to them a little under 2 years ago. They recommended sending it into Breitling to have a full service overhaul at the Breitling factory. I got it back, the watch worked great and I paid $600. The problem is Ganem never sent it back to Breitling. They DID have someone work on it, however, when I had another issue with it this year and did send it to Breitling, I uncovered the fact they Ganem lied aobut having sent it in. Breitling had no record of ever having serviced my watch. That to me is really shady. read more

My fiance and I worked with the manager, James, to find my perfect diamond and then design my engagement ring setting. We seriously worked with him for about 8 months to find my perfect pear diamond. He brought in so many stones for us to review and never once did we feel pushed or pressured to chose a stone. James listened very well and was patient. Quinton is a gem! I grew up in Ahwatukee and have always known about Ganem. My parents have been going for years. But when it was time to buy an engagement ring, I unfortunately no longer lived in the state. I sent my parents details about a ring I had been shown elsewhere. For a second opinion, they brought the diamond specs and a picture to Ganem. Quinton took a look over everything and immediately sensed a bad deal. We connected over the phone the and over email the next day and for the same price point I had been given on the first stone, Quinton was able to find something 10x better in cut, clarity, and color! He was 100% honest and trustworthy. Communicating with him was a breeze - especially given the circumstances of being out of state. He sent tons of pictures of the stone in the various stages of the setting process to put me at ease. Once we were squared away on the stone and setting, payment was very easy and the ring was shipped overnight with the GIA certification and a notarized appraisal for insurance. To make things even sweeter, we met with him when we were in town to get the ring resized and try on wedding bands. Not only did we get the ring resized within the short time frame we were in town, Quinton took time out of his day to show us anything and everything we wanted to see, even though we were still months away from making that purchase decision. I am shocked. I lived in Phoenix 20 years ago. Ganem was THE BOMB! I dropped off my Omega watch after they had it for two weeks or so, to have it cleaned, serviced, battery changed and the clasp replaced after years of wear. After around a. $875 bill I picked it up and it was beautiful. It's a beautiful doorstop. The watch does not keep time. So they have been nice enough to offer me to return after my trip to examine why it's now not working, I'm at the airport at this moment, to check it out. This is a simple thing, watch cleaned... check, clasp fixed ... check, battery in... check, watch keeping time, oops. Now I have a doorstop on my arm for a week. Almost a $1000 for a watch that doesn't tell time right now. Let's see how it goes when I get back, in the meantime the scramble to fit them in before the airport and the charges has made me a bit disgruntled because I get to wear this doorstop through out my trip. read more

I went here to get my watch battery replaced. It was what I consider to be pricey ($16.25 after tax), but they were very speedy and didn't make me feel judged when I walked in in flip flops and shorts. I had called ahead of time to ask about how long it would take and they told me they were swamped right then, but it might be as fast as 10 minutes.
