They were able to refurbish an old Masonic ring I inherited that was in really bad shape it made it look good as new! I also brought them a concept for an engagement ring. Lorin and I discussed the concept and he had great insights and additional ideas, and in the end he created something truly spectacular (and my fiancée loved it!). Most recently I went there to have a custom ruby ring made for my fiancée and same as before they were super helpful, insightful, and created exactly what I had in mind. A little over a year ago, pre-pandemic, I was looking for a reliable place to take my watches for adjustment, battery replacement, and the like. As a watch collector, I frequently need bracelets sized. Since my former jeweler in Chandler retired, I'd been using the mall shops and putting up with their exorbitant prices for the simplest jobs. I was fortunate to find Day's less than a mile from my home in Tempe. Lorin immediately impressed me as a good guy, very knowledgeable about his work, and providing services at a reasonable price. On my last visit, my wife and I met Ginger as we brought in a ring for restoration. Equally pleasant and friendly as her husband, it was an all around great experience with a quality business. And the ring looks beautiful, too! Day's will be getting our watch and jewelry work from here on out. This has always been our trusted family jeweler. They are family owned and the store has been around as long as I can remember. Professional, lots of knowledge, and great smiles. I brought my wedding ring in to have the prongs tightened and the stones cleaned a couple months ago. When I picked it up, it was better than brand new. I will be back this week in fact just so they can clean and fix my prongs on my ring again. My line of work makes me move my prongs out of place a lot and it's nice to know I can always bring it back to be repaired instead of loosing my stone. What a great experience with Day's Fine Jewelry! In short, they did a wonderful job repairing my platinum engagement ring that had become scratched and was no longer round. Not to mention the stone was loose and I needed to have something done to prevent it from spinning. They made this ring even better than new! Now I would expect that from any jeweler, but my situation was a little unique....you see, I live in Mexico and had come up for my 1st vaccine and had thought I could get my ring repaired before I left (silly me!). They couldn't fix it in the time I was there, but could have it done when I returned for my 2nd vaccine. Although I was nervous leaving my ring, I did it. Then my flights for my second vaccine changed and I could only pick my ring up on a Saturday, but the store would be closed. I panicked, but Loren assured me he'd meet me at the store to pick it up. Talk about being a little nervous, but Loren was true to his word and met me at the store! Now THAT'S customer service! This place is so terrible !! Went in to get my Movado watch battery replace, when he replaced the battery, some how he pushed it to hard that the crystal face broke. Plus they put cheap battery in.
