    Ice Cream Sundae

The Hot Fudge Sundae was delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions.

I'm glad to see an ice cream shop in this area, especially by a brewery! Like all Lolly's shop you can expect some good quality ice cream. Today's vegan ice cream option was a sorbet and coconut chip. I chose the coconut chip and it was yummy. The shaved chocolate chips throughout helped the ice cream not be so "coconutty". There's seating available and ice cream cake and pint of ice cream to go as well.

Birthday ice cream cake from Lolly's

I recently purchased an ice cream cake from Lolly's for my adult daughter's birthday, and it was nothing short of perfection. The cake was actually offered for Valentines Day, but they kindly piped on a Happy Birthday with my daughter's name. The first thing she said was how beautiful it was! We all enjoyed it tremendously. I knew they had great ice cream, but don't sleep on the cakes--they are fantastic!

Cold, sweet treats with staple and rotating seasonal menu options. Ask for samples to find your fave. I've had the coffee, candy cane cookies n cream, and gingerbread -- all delicious. Also offer milkshakes and bottled drinks. All prices on par w other ice cream spots; I'm fine supporting a spot on Colley Ave in Norfolk (Colleywood). Merch, on street parking, and gender neutral restrooms available.

Lolly's, for me, provides excellent ice cream. Their service is top shelf, too - this location is as consistent as the Lolly's at Loehmann's Plaza. My go-to flavor is their Cookie Monster, but when I came in on 11/29/23 with friends I changed it up and got their Flavor of the Month - CandyCane Cookies n Cream. It was delicious and hit the spot after dinner at Alkaline. This Lolly's location's only drawback is the lack of parking. They don't have their own parking lot - you'll have to park on the street (Colley Ave). So you may have trouble, depending on time of day, finding a spot near the building. Because of the parking, I typically opt for the Loehmann's Plaza location instead. Still, both places offer delicious, refreshing and homemade ice cream and their employees are always so nice. Thank you, Lolly's! JV

Some of the best ice cream I've had! The coffee flavor was the perfect balance and the warm brownie sundae hit the spot for me. The staff was kind and helpful, and our service was gave. The indoor space was cute and clean. It seemed like a perfect spot for a hang out or celebration.

We visited a couple friends in Virginia Beach and I am SO happy they brought us to Lolly's. They are big fans themselves so they definitely hyped it up a lot.... It surpassed my expectations! Lolly's is a super cute ice cream window with some tables and umbrellas set up for enjoying your ice cream in the sun. I loved the old-timey beach feel it has. All of the flavors sounded good so it took me a while to decide. Ultimately I went with a scoop of coffee and a scoop of peanut butter jelly. The coffee was good. Not my favorite, but still creamy and delicious. But the peanut butter jelly... damn! If only I could recreate those chewy peanut butter chunks at home. I am so sad I don't live in VA. But maybe it's for the best because I would be getting wayyyy too much ice cream if I did!!! We all were so excited about our treats that I forgot to take photos.

Went here right before 5pm on a Saturday, & it was empty. So take notes, since I hear it tends to be really busy at night! I was really wishing they had the ube flavor, but unfortunately they didn't have anything too special. I settled for the pina colada sherbet, & it was decent nothing mind blowing though. It was $4 for the mini, I believe $6 for a small. But I felt a mini was plenty! They have indoor seating, & a bathroom for customers as well.

I'll always be a huge fan of ice cream and this creamery did not disappoint at all! Probably one of the best and most memorable ice cream spots I've had here! They have a few ice cream options to pick from, while that can seem like a bad thing and that they don't have a lot of variety.....I see it as that they have carefully handpicked a nice assortment of flavors to specialize in and to really hone in on their quality. I appreciate ANY place that chooses to go this route! It was love at first sight when I saw that they had a Cookie Monster flavor. I forget what specifically is in it other than chocolate chip cookies but tbh that's all I really needed to know! I grew up loving Cookie Monster the character from Sesame Street and I thought it was cool that this ice cream resembled the character - so definitely a lot of sentimental value for me. My friend got a milkshake and to sum up his review, he described it as "It definitely brings the boys to the yard". Idk about you, but I'm convinced just by that!

Ice cream Cookie Monster and cookie butter s'mores

Amazing ice cream, some of the best in the 757. Workers were very nice and calm!!!!! Love the Cookie Monster is alaways available

    Kids cone is huge!!!

Real deal ice cream shop. Homemade and always a very polite and hard working crew. Been there several times never disappointed.

Very nice girls at the counter and explained the flavors. I got the salted pretzels based ice cream and didn't like the texture at all! The pretzels were like blended into the ice cream super fine but just made it taste like saw dust or soggy pretzels. My husband's butter finger was better tho.

We popped in to check out the newest Lolly's location the Saturday of opening weekend (we couldn't pass up a chance to possibly win free ice cream for a year!). They were understandably busy but Joey and the staff were working hard and keeping things running quickly and smoothly. I love that this location actually has some indoor seating. We didn't snag a spot on this busy night, but I think it should be easier to do so at a less busy time. We've tried most of the Lolly's flavors at this point, and though Carrot Cake is one of my top 5, I had to try the famous Takes the Cake, with Texas Sheet Cake, caramel, and Pretzels in a chocolate base. It was really delicious, but the cake chunks were a little more dense than I ultimately would prefer... or maybe would just have liked them in slightly smaller chunks. It was still tasty though. I did a mini on a "fun colored cone!" and they suggested putting it in a cup due to the caramel, which I appreciated. My husband got the Golden Oreo Fudge which was also rich and delicious! Cookie Monster is always a staple, and great for those who love cookie dough ice creams. Parking is a little tricky on a weekend evening in such a busy area that relies largely on street parking, but we still found a spot. It might just take a minute or require a short walk, either of which is worth it to us just having a Lolly's so much closer now!

Our party had about 7 ppl, I want to say it took NO LESS than 20 minutes to serve some darn cookies. It took forever, the girl was the absolute slowest, at a snail's pace is still too fast for her. Anyways, I ordered the cinnamon dolce cookie and it had a little filling in the middle. That cookie was amazing! I would go TO A DIFFERENT location but order it again. Because the line was so long, we had a chance to join the rewards and got a free basic cookie. Because of course the cookie I wanted wasn't ready and the wait was 15 mins, I opted for the snickerdoodle which was just OK. The cinnamon dulce is on the money. But, this location was so slow that literally half of the line got frustrated and left. I want to say it was at least 3-4 left the line while we were there. 3 stars because the cookies were good, the location was clean and the young lady was nice/professional.

First of all, we waited for about 15 minutes to even be acknowledged. There were two employees there. One was doing something in the back and could only be heard (not seen), and the other one was taking her sweet time talking to the customers who were in front of us. I thought we'd be acknowledged once they got their ice cream, but instead she prioritized the online orders. Finally the other employee came out, but she worked on online orders too. We still weren't acknowledged at all. I would have appreciated if they at least said, "We'll be with you soon." We were finally able to order (no apology for the unreasonable amount of time we had to wait). My husband got his ice cream first. He went outside while I waited for mine. As soon as I joined him, he told me that he had lost his appetite for the ice cream. So did I. They overfilled the waffle bowl (we only ordered the medium size), and the ice cream was served to us MELTED. It just kept dripping out of the bowl. It was also over-mixed. We were only able to get a partial refund (we spent more than $10), because they said they don't offer refunds on the waffle bowls. I don't think I'll ever return to this location. Avoid the disappointment, and go elsewhere. I would give 0 stars if I could.
