I LOVE this place. I love it so much, I convinced my partner to drive an hour and a half away so he could order the Mob Boss (a hefty Italian style sandwich with prosciutto and mozzarella etc...) and I could once again order the Nero (basically a chicken Caesar salad wrap but way fresher and more flavorful than wherever I thought made a good Caesar wrap prior.) The staff is always friendly here and if you're into rockabilly/retro/vintage/pinup style, they have some super cute merch (I got a tie-dye shirt with a retro pinup image of "Lola" on the back that's so cute I might ask to be buried in it.) They serve "adult beverages" as well with a separate bar area than where you order takeout/dine in or out. The alcoholic drinks are THICC. As in, if you order a double, it's Texas sized and you best prepare yourself lol the mixed drinks are very good, they don't lean towards watery or too sweet, they're just right. The ingredients are fresh tasting and my wrap was very well balanced in terms of the ingredients (some places are too lettuce heavy.) From what I could tell of my partner's sandwich (as he was devouring it), it also appeared his sandwich was balanced as well. No over abundance of one ingredient over the others but a very cohesive blend of everything that was included. Overall, like I said, LOVE this place and wish there was one in Dallas. Best chicken salad and dill potato salad in town. The bread is buttery and has an amazing crunch yet soft and I'm not a huge bread fanatic. Just about everything we have tried has consistent quality but try the chicken salad for sure. We usually came on Sunday when they did have a singer. Wow and wow This one is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a small shopping center in downtown Gresham , they have a groovy little scene. Lots of outside space and games. The staff was super helpful and led me to why I am writing this. THE REUBEN!!!!! It is all that and a bag of their homemade chips. Great sandwich I hate to even say his but the bread could have been a bit more crunchy WHITH THAT SAID this is a SOLID 9 out of 10. Lola's had a recent ownership change. I love to support loc as l business, but I'm updating my review to reflect my experience today. I always get the Mediterranean Turkey. Today, my bread was not fresh, not toasted and the sandwich was dry. The Turkey was cold too. The taste was so different than I remember, I had to reread the menu description to see if they changed the sandwich. These are not the cheapest sandwiches in town. I want to keep supporting them, but will think twice before coming back. If I do, it will be for a different sandwich. read more

I have never been to Lola's.prior to my trip, but wanted to support a local establishment especially during this time. I ordered the Lola burger as I consider myself a cheeseburger connoisseur. I ordered to go so I was informed to go to the bar. When I finished saying I wanted the burger and proceeded to say I wanted veggies as my side, the guy taking my order walked off to go put in my order. I told the girl standing there with him that I wasn't finished and she told him what I wanted. My order didn't take long, maybe 10 minutes. I live within walking distance, so I didn't take me long to drive home and it was still hot. The burger was put together sloppily and started to soak, hence why one star is removed. The flavor of the patty was good and had a good size. It was good and could see myself ordering again despite the mishaps. read more

First visit today. Tried the Mediterranean. Not much meat in it. Bread was tough and dry. Flavor was just okay. Had the potato salad with dill as the side. Potatoes were hard/undercooked. Taste was ok but needed salt. My son had Cuban and he said it was good, and it looked good! Other son had a burger and he said it was good. Waitress gave us chips to replace potato salad and chef agreed it was undercooked and he comped our sandwich. So that was nice of them. Chips are awesome! Warm, fresh and lightly salted. I really want to love Lola's, especially with their great new location. I ordered the chicken salad, the toasted bread was saturated with butter and the chicken salad was dripping (literally) with mayo. Chips were greasy. All in all, it was a messy and disappointing lunch. Prices seem high to me, $10 for a sandwich and $3 for the chips and drink. I'd like to start off by saying I will definitely be coming back to try other menu items as I was very impressed with the options available. The ambiance is great, waitstaff was helpful and attentive, and the overall concept is very cute. Loved the decor. I ordered the Yard Bird sandwich. Ingredients seemed quality and it tasted good. With that being said, I assumed with this being a gourmet sandwich shop to some extent that my onion bun would be toasted...but it wasn't. It needed to be. This is a big sandwich with layers of food on it and it needed to be cut in half, but wasn't. I couldn't cut it in half myself with only plastic knives available. There was also no buffer between the sliced tomato and the bun which made the bottom of the sandwich completely soggy and halfway through I stopped eating it due to the sogginess. I will pay closer attention to what I order next time and try to bypass the issues I had previously. I think this seems like a great place, but I also thought it was fair and only constructive criticism to share my true experience and opinion. read more

It has the perfect ratio of goat cheese to sun dried tomatoes. And the fresh greens with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar adds that special touch so it's not too rich. It's a party in my mouth! This place is super yummy and super clean. They have so many tasty options and their staff is willing to make you happy with their selection. My husband got the Roast Beast it was Tasty but looked like slop. That would be our only complaint. Their Greek salad and grilled shrimp were super yummy, the homemade chips were awesome. Lola's is delicious! You will absolutely want to get their hand-cut potato chips. You can do half a sandwich and a side. The half of sandwich is still quite large. I got a whole Heaven Can Wait and took half home. The bread didn't get soggy in the fridge and was still just as good the next day. read more
