There's a little bit of an identity crisis inside but if you can get past that, the chop salad was fresh and loaded with toppings, the tomato basil soup was delivered with a balsamic flourish on top, and service was solid. Lola's is a place you need to go to. They look like they love what they are doing! They put out a great product. We had the Grilled Cheese (3 different cheeses), French onion soup and the Yardbird sandwich. We also had the homemade potato chips too. My wife said it was the best grilled cheese she has ever had! The French onion soup was perfect. The Yardbird sandwich is huge! Grilled chicken on a fresh bun with bacon, cheese, lettuce, onions and tomatoes. You will have a hard time eating it all! Wow this place is a whole vibe with big bold flavors to match. Rockabilly, 50's diner, and buddy holly are words that come to mind. I had the Ruben and lemon dill potato salad. Very good but heads up it's a German style potato salad. We shared the kicked up chips vol 2 and wow so much flavor. My wife had the mob boss and it was the better sandwich of the too. Excellent brunch! My husband brought me here yesterday for my birthday and we loved it! They were still serving brunch so we each tried the Eggs a la Texas. It was delicious and cooked perfectly! Lola's is another one of those accidental finds that turned out to be a treasure! We were looking for a brunch place and happened across Lola's while we were at Walgreens. We love trying new places so we decided to give it a try since it was right next door. What a find! They serve brunch on the weekends until 2, and they have an amazing menu for brunch and lunch - it was so hard to choose!! We ended up with a B.E.L.T. (Bacon, egg, lettuce and tomato) and the breakfast tacos. The BELT was beyond yummy - served on homemade sourdough bread that was to die for. It was so good I had to order a loaf of the bread before we left! The tacos were good, but I was disappointed in the bacon crumbles they used on the tacos, and my potatoes, while tasty, were drowning in grease. It was good, but not amazing. I will definitely be ordering something with the bread next time. You could put a shoe on that bread and it would still taste good!! The wait was long, but we had amazing live music happening while we waited and that not only made it bearable, it made it enjoyable. Ramoth Gilead has quite the talent and a set of pipes to rival one of my favorite singers, Darius Rucker. To him, I give 5 stars!! I'm a fan now! Overall we had a great experience and had it not been for the bacon and the great potatoes on what I ordered, I would have given 5 stars as well. Lola's has a lot of options on its menu. I got the Italian Beef sandwich, which, although tasty, was a little difficult to eat. The beef is cut a little too thick so it makes for a bulky sandwich, but the toppings are good and the bread is great. I ordered the slaw as a side and it was a bit disappointing; it was quite dry. Really not much juice/sauce whatever you want to call it. There was none left in the bottom of the bowl, let's say that. Value is good, staff is nice. Ok well this time I didn't read the other reviews to see if there were any specific complaints to look into - I just went there and ate. And with that, I can tell you that you can ignore any complaints - this place is awesome. A nice space with great service and phenomenal food, all at great prices - seriously, who complains about that? On its worst day, Lola's will be worth whatever trouble it may be to get there. So you know, I ordered the Shrimp Po Boy (comes with hand made chips) and a cucumber salad and it was too much food for one person, under $20 out the door. Recently visited Tyler and had lunch here, based on Yelp reviews. BLT was terrific; loaded with bacon! The TABC was also really good. I had the roast beef panini...good, not great. Homemade potato chips and lemon-dill potato salad were excellent. This place is big, spacious, very clean and filled with lots of memorabilia on the walls. Went by today for lunch. My stepdad got a Reuben, said it was delicious. I got the Mob Boss, wanted to try something different than the last couple times I've been there. The chips as always were delicious. They make a good margarita, my stepdad said the Bloody Mary was good as well. My sandwich was ok, not great. The prosciutto was thick and very tough. Saturday at 2pm. Place was busy but not completely packed. Front counter warned us it would be a 20 minute wait for food. Got our food in 35 minutes... Layout and decor of restaurant is good. Placement of order counter in relation to seating is not ideal. I had an Italian Beef; wife had the Bleu Bird. I got the cabbage slaw; wife got homemade chips. Positives- portion size is good; bread is great (although wife says the onion roll overpowered her sandwich in general (but she liked the bread itself). Cabbage slaw is great! Service was friendly. My sandwich gets 4 out of 5 stars. Wife gave hers 3 out of 5. Negatives- chips were crunchy and not oily but in dire need of salt/seasoning. Wait was LONG for a sandwich. We were very excited to go and try the Ramen! But it was so hard to decide between all the other…read moreoptions they had! Service was great although we did go at an off time, around 4:30. Grandmother got the orange chicken and we all tried her fried rice and we all wished we had gotten a side of rice too! Husband got the Ichiban ramen and enjoyed all the meat and toppings. Although he tried MY black garlic ramen and said that broth was much better! Very cute anime decor inside, wasnt a huge fan of the music but Im not a top 20 kind of person. Highly recommend this yummy food to everyone!

I visited during off hours between lunch & dinner, so there was no crowd whatsoever.

I chose the spinach salad with pecans, strawberries and bacon. Second choice was the chicken salad. Third and final choice was the french onion soup. I wouldn't try anything different next time! Everything was fresh and delicious (see picture). The Manager came around and took a picture of our party and was just the Best! The fireplace on a cold winter morning was a plus for sure. The hot coffee is always good and we really enjoy it but the first cup is nearly always lukewarm warm. This was the case at this location and a staff member had to bring a newly brewed one from the back. I would expect during lunchtime that the coffee area would be better monitored but that is not typically the case. The dining area was clean and we enjoyed eating our lunch. It is annoying that employees on break are allowed to take a booth, leaving paying customers to hunt for a clean table. All in all, a good lunch and we will return, always hopeful for those continuous improvements that management can make to make dining in more pleasant experience.

Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Now, here's what you should absolutely order if you go here. Do not skip the pretzel with a side of beer cheese or the desserts. The pretzel is like the old Auntie Anne's pretzels in the mall years ago - only a thousand times better!! I will never come here and not order this again every single time. If you like huge, fluffy, salty, crispy on the outside pretzels, this is THE place to get them!! 10 out of 10! For dessert, we got the trio dessert (can't remember the name), but it came with 3 different skillet cookies, topped with ice cream and whipped cream and it was sinful how good they were! We got the chocolate chunk, the caramel and the strawberry shortcake. No words. Just drool. Lots of drool! Super cool guy was working the bar as well. Very knowledgeable about their beers and some others that compare nicely. I also had a drink called the lucky ducky. It comes in a little bathtub with a yellow duck floating in it. It was super tasty. We were so full that we were miserable. lol I'm a good way. We will all be back. I also bought the lucky ducky bath tub to take home without the drink of course.
