Chicken Fried Steak, Scrambled Eggs, Hashbrowns, and potatoes

I always try the chicken fried steak and eggs at every breakfast place IF it is on the menu. Today i tried this place and it was good. The service was great. The atmosphere was the same as any other good breakfast spot. Will be going back to try that meat lovers omelette.

What a great spot for breakfast. We were able to go online and make reservations. We went around 12/1 on a Saturday and they weren't that busy, but it could be because they close at 2. I think earlier in the day they usually have wait times so I would suggest going later or making a reservation. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot so you don't have to worry about that. Plenty of setting room. Our waitress was very patient and talked us through the menu. She was probably the best waitress I have had in a while. Very attentive and all our food was right. I had the carnitas queso skillet. It had hash browns in but I substituted it out for country potatoes. I also got no onions. This meal was amazing. There was plenty of queso so didn't have to ask for more. I love cheese and this was the best choice. The switch to add potatoes was a great choice for me too. I'm not a huge hash down person and the potatoes were amazing. The waitress helped me pick it out. She said it was her favorite thing too. My friend also gets the same dish every time she goes there. I also had the cinnamon roll French toast. They were ok but not what I expected. They didn't use thick bread. It was fairly thin and I'm not used to that for French toast. Not a huge fan so wouldn't get that again, but they did taste decent. Can't wait to go back again and try some other things on the menu next time I visit.

    This is the place.

I got a $25 gift card to this place, so I went there. It was busy. Lots of folks in there seemed to be digging' the place. Lots of elder folk. It took over 20 minutes to be seated and 20 more to get my order. The pancakes were leather tough and rubbery. Inedible. "The Biscuits Gone Wild" we're crunchy and cold on the outside and gummy and cold on the inside... SALT ASSAULT in the gravy. The waitress brought me the ticket I handed it back with the gift card and just left hungry. They served me lousy nursing home food (cold) and wasted a tremendous amount of my time. I'll never go back there. See photos.

Spicy Chipotle burger I forgot to take a before photo. Yummy

The food was really good. I got the spicy Chipotle burger and the servers were really nice. The place gives me a warm 90's vibe. And the bathroom was clean and decorated.

Man o man!! This place sure hit the spot! It has such a "diner" feel to it, and these days those are far and few in between... at least in my neck of the woods. You have your typical Denny's or Shari's in the NW... but 'round here.... This IS the spot! There's such a variety on the menu, but first, got to compliment our waitress. Taryn was her name and she was ON it! She made sure we were comfortable, checked up on us regularly, and was very hospitable and took the time to chat with us. Gave us her best recommendations and all. The food... SO DAMN GOOD! We love our eggs in a variety of ways, with such a big family, what else would you expect? I can guarantee you, with an inevitable move into Tyler.... This place will quickly become a staple or "go to" joint. The pancakes, eggs, meats, and more importantly... the coffee is delicious! Love it! I'll be checking in just in a few days! Can't wait!

Jimmy's is amazing. I had the Biscuits Gone Wild and it was way too much food but I ate it all. I'll diet later.

There's plenty of nice local establishments, but some can be pricey and some are just more casual than you want. Scott Williams has perfected the restaurants of Tyler that are balanced between affordable and still quite nice. He got his toes in the water with FDs, before expanding into Javi's, Twelve, and now the fanciest of them all in III Palms. I thought of all those options, Twelve would be the most unique and tasty for my girlfriend and I. We went in an hour before they closed on a Sunday and were seated immediately. We weren't too hungry so we didn't expect to be there past their closing time, and we were ready to go. Our waiter was quick and attentive, bringing us water and helping us decide on drinks from the bar and our order. He also showed us their insane over-the-top whiskey menu. If you like whiskey, give Twelve a shot I guess. To order, I just got their 'Osaka Style' Pressed Roll while my girlfriend got a Sushi Bowl Salad. We got Sweet Potato Fries to share. As for drinks, I started with their Monkey See, Monkey Do, an impressive and firm beverage, while my girlfriend ordered their Destin Dream, a fun Pina Colada-like drink. It wasn't long before our food came out. The sushi was beautifully plated with some wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. I destroyed all the rolls. They were all very fresh and very high quality, which was remarkable for their $13.50 price tag. My girlfriend's sushi bowl looked insane. She ate most of it, but I filled the gaps and devoured the rest of it. The sweet potato fries were crispy and heavenly like all sweet potato fries usually are. I felt adventurous and I got a second drink of their Rose Garden, which was simple but flavorful. Compared to FDs, the menu might be a little more sea-inspired and more adventurous, but I think it leads to better, more unique food, especially with offerings like Oyster Rockefeller and a sushi bar. I also know Twelve does a great brunch as well, so keep that on your radar. Ultimately, as the bill came, the price was very manageable even with the alcohol. It's nice that you don't fully have to break the bank to have a nice meal in Tyler thanks to places like Twelve. I rate it a 12/10. Get it? hahahaha... RIYL: A slightly adventurous, but affordable night out.

There's a few different indoor dining areas, an indoor bar with more relaxed seating, an outdoor patio dining area, a live music mini amphitheater that had a solo lady serenading our Sunday brunch, and there's a large venue building and outdoor area off to the side. We sat outside in the patio area because the weather was perfect, and enjoyed the free show while sampling their brunch menu. Service was very personable and attentive, and I noticed it wasn't just our server. It looked like they put a lot of focus on making diners feel welcome, helping them navigate the menus, joking with the tables, answering questions, etc. The brunch menu had the greatest hits you'd expect and both of our choices came out quickly and tasty. Their cocktail menu has some great concoctions as well if you're looking for something spirited to go along with your eggs.
