The vibes were immaculate, let me say that to start. This breakfast was so dang yummy. We had the million dollar bacon as an app and weirdly it was kinda cold but otherwise everything was basically perfection. My biscuits and gravy were honestly delightful even though the biscuit itself was slightly dry, with the gravy it was perfect. I had a yummy coffee drink too with caramel crunch. My boyfriend and I went after a 5k and I guess we all had the same idea. The wait time wasn't too bad compared to other places. We stayed and the 30 minutes went by fast. The hostess was super friendly and upbeat. She made the wait better just by her positive energy. This was our first time trying first watch. It was definitely worth the wait. The waitress was super helpful and patient with us. She walked us through the menu and let us know of what was seasonal and what's available year round. We both really enjoyed our food. The vibes were chill. It wasn't too quiet or too noisy. The wait time for our drinks and food wasn't too bad. Our server was very attentive as well. First let me say AMAZING EVERYTHING! The waiters and waitresses are consistent which I love! We are becoming a regular. We have switched from dinner dates to more quiet breakfast dates together, and we are now only coming to First Watch! We LOVE it here! The food is not what some will expect, I understand! It's on the healthier side, but this is so much better for all of us! First Watch is setting the standard for better, cleaner, HEALTHIER eating! Their eggs come from a farm where they are not left in a small cage all day but rather they free range. Owning chickens myself, chickens have complex emotions and yes, they are super kind animals, so no, I'm not vegan, lol. I eat bacon and it's amazing here. But I love that they don't buy caged eggs. Prices a little higher? That's why friends! You are getting what is being sourced! We love it here, and it's quieter for us to enjoy and friendly faces!!! We are blessed to have this in town! I love first watch. We have been multiple times and I've never been disappointed by the service or the food. I was a little disappointed by the table cleanliness today. The table, s&p shakers, and chairs were all sticky. You gotta wipe everything down after every patron. For that you lose one star. But I will always come back as long as the food is on point. The million dollar bacon is always the highlight of my breakfast but the avocado toast with the mounds of fresh smashed avocado doesn't ever let me down either! On this busy Saturday morning our party of three was seated quickly, and our server was friendly and attentive even though she, and everyone working, was very busy. I love that they gave us a carafe of coffee. That's convenient, especially when things are busy. Our food arrived surprisingly fast. My Bacado omelette was excellent. I couldn't detect any dressing on my greens, and when I said so, extra dressing was brought immediately. The table shared the delicious lemon blueberry cornbread, which was delish! First time to visit. It was busy but understandably so due to the holidays. I wasn't sure what to expect but it was worth the meal. First I must commend the wait staff from the greeter to the cashier. All were professional and always quick to serve and had smiles which is something you can't fake. Great place for a breakfast or lunch. Our group had both due to the time of day. No one complained about anything they ordered and mine was fresh and delicious. Something for everyone on the menu. I noticed it was a lot less busy around 1 pm. There was plenty of parking but with a packed parking lot it was full and a very short walk to the door. Bathrooms were CLEAN. Could use a few more benches outside while waiting especially for those who can't stand long. I will put this place on my list to go back. :) read more

The staff is super friendly and very helpful. We went on a Saturday morning and boy. Was it packed our wait time was 45 minutes plus so if you do have somewhere to go, please try to get there early. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. they have so many combinations of pancakes and different types of eggs. Everything was just so fabulous. I ended up getting eggs Benedict, which was cooked to perfection and runny just how it's supposed to be. The pancakes are very fluffy and the syrup is very sweet. It's like a Texas eatery with tables and chairs and very nice wooden finish on the walls. I can't wait to go back and try this place again next time I'm in Texas. read more

Dirty glass, not once but twice so I used a coffee cup for my water. Kids food came out before mine so they were mostly finished when I started eating which was the wrong meal. She ordered me a veggie burger but I asked for a turkey burger. Couldn't find our server most of the time so the other servers and the hostess helped out. Born in TX and moved to CA when I was 10 years old to return to TX - Tyler specifically because my Mom has lived here for 25 years - and pleasantly surprised to see a First Watch here. The one where I lived in San Mateo, CA is average so I was excited to see this one surpass it leaps and bounds. I was actually hesitant to go there for brunch today but knowing how much my Mom loves this place, I went with an open mind. Isela (I hope that is the correct spelling of her name) was our waitress and she was a happy breath of fresh air - so sweet and genuinely happy to be at work and provide outstanding customer service. She was the best waitress I've had during my month long return to eating out in the last month I''ve been living in TX again. The coffee, food and inside decor were also awesome again in comparison to the First Watch locations I've been to before this one in CA. As a regular influencer / food critic / reviewer, I can honestly say this is an outstanding place and I highly recommend it AND will be back! First, let me say I've always had excellent food and decent service here, but today neither was up to par! The server set down my $3.99 coffee, and didn't pour it into the cup. The food comes out and my breakfast sandwich has 1/2 brown avocado slathered on it. Ewwwww! Had to scrape that off. We asked for separate checks and she brings us 1, saying the register is messing up in the back. When I say I wanted to pay via my phone, she says she can go to the front register, so..... why didn't she do that in the 1st place? When she left to do that, I had also asked for a to-go box. She finally came back with the tickets, but no box. I asked again for a box, she heads to the kitchen, then stops on the way there to clear off a table, delaying our departure even further! My friend's million dollar bacon tasted like a peppery, chewy meat stick, not crisp like normal. When the cashier asked her how her meal was, she said it wasn't as good as usual. Went in for breakfast and was surprised with the servers rendition of what I asked for. Over medium is an uncooked egg to them. Dry toast is buttered toast to them. Coffee was not hot. The only thing good I can say about this place Is that when I asked for well done bacon it was definitely well done. 15 minute wait at 10am on a Saturday not too bad. Waiter was very sweet and attentive. I ordered the shrimp and grits with a soda for brunch and paid for my friends birthday brunch. She got a soda and I think the farmhouse hash.. ended up being about $40 for us both. She really enjoyed her food and mine was great! I'd have to say today was a bad day dining at First Watch. I had the chili chorizo omelet with a side of French toast. My wife had the classic eggs Benedict. My wife's Benedict was cold. I mean the ham felt like they pulled it out of the fridge and slapped it on the order. Also, my piece of French toast was cold and wouldn't even melt the butter on top of it. I've always had great meals here but today was not one of those days. Y'all need to take a look at what's going on in the kitchen.
