There looked to be a decent amount of seats, it wasn't busy at all when we got there early on Sunday morning. The service getting seated was nice but our server wasn't very personable, my husband is a good tipper so he still left an appropriate tip (I would have left less based on her lack of friendliness). We stopped in here for breakfast. Because we heard they had a gluten-free menu and we weren't disappointed. We were the first people to get there and the first to get our order. We were seated right away. I ordered the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes, which were gluten-free and they were amazing. The bacon was crispy. The sausage was great. My wife and I decided to try this spot for brunch while traveling in Williamsburg. While it seemed very crowded, the wait was really short. Our server, Chaney, was excellent. She gave us several recommendations before we settled on the biscuit beignets and apple fritter French toast. The atmosphere was filled with light conversation and was not noisy at all. This came as quite a surprise given the crowd. The restaurant is actually larger than it looks at first glance with a nice bar and additional seating around the corner from the mirrored portion of the dining area. We are planning one of their other locations closer to home. Definitely would recommend. read more

We were really impressed with this place. The food was great, service even better and we like the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. I really liked their version of Huevos Rancheros adding on chorizo and you can't beat their "Grand Mimosa". If you haven't been here, please try this place you will be totally impressed. The omlette was a pretty big size, filling and full of flavor. The French toast was amazing as well, just the right amount of sweet. I opted for a mocktail, specifically the strawberry lemondade spritzer. It was refreshing and not too sweet, I loved it! I also ordered a 1/2 order of beignet buscuits, which were ok. I'll start off by stating that we have been to other franchise locations in the last year and were excited to see a location open up in Tyler. We attended the grand opening, which ended up being less busy than I had anticipated, and I was glad for it. I had expected things to be a little bit rough around the edges due to it being a new location, staff, etc. Much to my surprise, things were buttery smooth. We were seated promptly, and the hostess was kind enough to indulge our request for a larger table, even though it was just the two of us. The interior is nicely decorated, and the colors and materials lend themselves to a bright and clean feeling. Our waitress was quick to seat us, and after taking our drink order, she immediately inquired about any potential dietary restrictions. After informing her about our need to avoid gluten (celiac), she notified us that they have a gluten-free menu and brought it to our table. She already seemed very knowledgeable about the menu and didn't bat an eye when I asked about modifying another pancake option to be gluten-free. The wait for our food wasn't long at all, even with how busy things had become, since we'd been seated. Everything came out as ordered, which is very important when dealing with a gluten allergy. Our food was fantastic and in line or better than some of the better ABE locations I've been to in the past. Our waitress was very attentive throughout our visit, always quick to offer a coffee or water top up, and management was very accommodating of our request to turn down the fan directly above our table. All in all, we were thrilled with our brunch experience, and we look forward to many more visits. PS: The gluten free options are plentiful, and on the better end of those offered at most brunch places. The gluten free bread is especially tasty, and this is one of the few places I can enjoy a sandwich with GF bread. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. When we (a party of 3) walked in, we were told it would be a 35-40 minute wait. Unbeknownst to me at the time, my son-in-law had put us on the waitlist before leaving the house...a 15-20 drive...and there were several empty tables when we walked in. We were finally seated and it took another 20 minutes for our waitress to appear. We ordered our beverages and when she brought those, she took our order, telling us she would put the order in "when she got permission". HUH???? Before we got our food, I went to the restroom and counted 9 empty tables....with people waiting to be seated. This place needs a reboot, with an understanding of business management. There were plenty of servers available.. I'm not quite sure what the issue is but it's always best to seat people and explain they are short staffed (if that is the concern.. didn't appear like it). Extremely dissatisfied with the experience my party and I had here today. We arrived at the restaurant at 1:00 PM and were seated by 1:12 PM. We had to wait even though over half of the tables in the restaurant were empty, including the bar which only had 5 people seated and the outdoor patio which was completely empty. Our waitress promptly took our order, which included two Lemon Mascarpone Pancake breakfasts--one with scrambled eggs and bacon, and the other with a fried egg and bacon--and one Traditional Day Starter with scrambled eggs, toast, and house sausage. However, our experience quickly deteriorated from there. Approximately 10 minutes later, at 1:30 PM, the waitress returned to inform us that the restaurant was "out of pancakes." I fail to comprehend how a breakfast restaurant can run out of something as fundamental as pancake batter, which is both simple and inexpensive to prepare. Disappointed but understanding, we reviewed the menu again to select alternate options. When we attempted to place our second order, things went from bad to worse. We requested another Traditional Day Starter, only to be told that the restaurant was also out of sausage. Not just the house sausage, but all meat options except for bacon. This included the andouille sausage, maple apple chicken sausage, and ham. I then attempted to order the Apple Fritter French Toast, only to be informed that all French Toast options were also unavailable. At this point, it became evident that the restaurant was ill-prepared to fulfill even basic menu offerings. Frustrated, I politely asked to speak with the manager. While I understand that the waitress is not responsible for inventory management, her response--rolling her eyes at my request--was unprofessional and only added to the frustration. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, a Hispanic looking, middle-aged female approached our table, claiming to be the manager. She did not introduce herself by name, and her attitude was immediately defensive and dismissive. Rather than listening to our concerns, she repeatedly interrupted and spoke over us, making excuses instead of taking accountability. Her lack of professionalism and complete disregard for customer service were appalling. She offered no apology, no solution, and no effort to salvage the experience. Had the restaurant been upfront about its depleted inventory when we arrived, we could have saved ourselves over an hour of wasted time and gone elsewhere. The fact that the restaurant was less than half-full at the time, suggests a deeper issue with management and operations. In contrast, other restaurants in the area are consistently bustling with customers for Sunday brunch, a clear sign that this location is struggling to meet basic standards. This was only my second visit to this location, my first being shortly after it opened. Unfortunately, this experience has ensured that it will also be my last. Twice I have attempted to eat at this restaurant and never made it in either time. The first time the wait was hours long... and I still do not understand why. I was told I needed a reservation. OK- not made, obviously, but disappointed. Today I attempted to eat there, and I was told they did not accept reservations. Hmmm. I put my name in and was told 5-10 min. 20 minutes later having watched 3 tables leave with at LEAST 4 other tables open, I asked about the wait. I overheard a server tell the hostess to not seat one more person- what?!!! There was hardly anyone there by this time. Apparently the backup was in the kitchen. I placed my order using Another Broken Eggs website and catering menu option which ended up being ezcatering. No problem- I used the information provided by the website and placed the order indicating it was for 30 people. When the order was picked up we questioned why only 2 pans and they indicated one order for 10 is a 1/2 pan. What we got in the photos is not even a 1/2 pan. I called to ask how this was supposed to feed 30 people and the managers response was that she just follows the directions given to her by corporate. She does not control the portion sizes or look at the total number of people being served. I questioned if she could not work with us at all for a credit or something vs. A bad review and she said it was not fair to put a bad review for the store when she was just doing what corporate told her. My mother and her friends went to this establishment 8/27. They had poor service, they had to wait over an hour for their food to arrive, and the food was cold when it arrived. The worst part about it is my older mother and one of her friends got food poisoning, and are really sick today. I contribute our bad experience to very poor management. We waited one hour and 10 minutes for our food. When it did arrive it was not hot and eggs were all cooked incorrectly for our entire party. Our server was friendly but there was no update on what the delay was by her or manager. in fact people were leaving and the ones staying were complaining and no manager came through to greet customers and explain. They just kept asking if we wanted refills on coffee drinks (non alcoholic) and charged us for every refill; these could have at least been compted lieu of the long wait for food. Mine was really good I had no complaints; I would recommend that they make the potatoes home sliced with some peppers. Again mine was defiantly 5 stars. The restaurant tables were about 40% occupied when we arrived. Despite this, they said it would take 30 minutes to be seated, so they clearly have staffing issues. We were seated in about 15 minutes. When we got to our booth it had sticky syrup on the seats (thank goodness we noticed before sitting in it). Once we ordered, it took our food 45 minutes to arrive. We had a very simple order (chicken and waffles, an omelette, and a 2 egg breakfast), so no reason it should've taken that long. Our waitress was also absent for long periods of time while we were waiting (i.e., 20 minutes). Most of the food wasn't bad, but not good enough for us to come back, especially with such a long wait time. Additionally, we asked for no mushrooms on the omelette and it came with mushrooms, and our english muffins were completely untoasted. The bartender Morgan was great. The drinks were amazing our server. Susanna, she's the epitome of what you want when you think of customer service in the food industry. Candace, the general manager running the establishment, needs to take a few courses on what professionalism is. Never in my life have I gone out to eat and witnessed a manager, completely belittle and dismantle an employee. To make things worse, she completely disrupted the positive environment Susanna had set, by scolding her in front of our whole table. Candace lacked class, etiquette, and frankly I have no idea how she even landed the manager position just based off of what I witnessed yesterday.
