This is another local place that Ive only just discovered. I love it. The only thing that puts me off going is the parking. You need patience. I get the Roast Chicken with Salad and fries. Don't be put off by the outside. This has got to be one of the best hidden gems in the Valley for food quality especially the salad. Its rather rough and tiny inside, but the food is worth it. I've now been about 10 times and only good experiences. Their little desserts are yummy and there is a good variety of other meals that I was really surprised about. read more

The chicken was excellent, but the fries were made from potatoes, not yucca which are way better. The green sauce was excellent. But I want me some yucca fries, hot and firm, to dip in that great sauce. I wolfed down the fries anyway, soggy as they were, because that sauce was incredible, I must have squirted a half-bottle on my food. Man, was looking forward to this place after reading some of the reviews on here. Finally got the opportunity to go, and as soon as I walked up I could tell the lady at register didn't want me there. But I was there an hour and 15 minutes before closing time, so I figured no big deal. There was nobody in line, even better, but as soon as I started telling her my order she cut me off and walked to the back. When she came back I said I wanted the half chicken. She said it was gonna be thirty minutes, I told her no problem. She asked what I wanted for my sides, I said rice and beans. Again, she says one second, walks to the back. She comes out and tell me, sorry, we can only do salad and fries right now. Really? Conveniently two things that take two seconds to make? I told them thank you and to cancel my order. Went to a bar, had a few drinks, and went over to Listo El Pollo thirty minutes before they closed. Asked the at their counter if it was cool to eat there since they were closing soon. I said I eat fast. She said not to worry and take my time. Then I gave the previous order and they brought out my food in ten to twelve minutes. It was amazing. First Time last time. Went on Saturday afternoon, 3:45. Parking is a nightmare!! I like just avoided three accidents just trying to park. Finally, left the dinky lot and parked 1/2 block away. Nothing to drink available without suger-so I went to the liquor store across the intersection for a Perrier. Nobody takes your order at the table. You must stand in line to order. Took 45 minutes to get our Picarones-a peruvian dessert dish which has a pumpkin type flavor and cinnamon syrup. I rate it average compared to other places.The rotissere chicken is also average- not a lot of meat. The Chicked Saltado(Tossed Chicken) had lots of dark meat-not my style. It's like an exonerated take out chicken plus other menu items but, people go to sit too. Way Way Noisy.They let the children play around with the utensils up front- watch out!! Hygiene Alert!! They got my take out order up within 10 min and had a generous portion of pinto beans as side dishes which I used for lunch the next day. read more

My wife and I love Lola's! Just be careful, because once you try the food here, you will be craving it all the time. We try to limit our visits to Lola's to about once a month, but it is hard. Anyway, the chicken is great, but I also like the ceviche de pescado and the saltados are great too. And the fries...I always order the fries. If I could give this place more stars I would. I found this place because of my boyfriend he is Peruvian and he was craving some seconds carne . I yelped it and I came across Lola's . This was back in November 2015. We have literally tried everything in the menu. This has become our Sunday's spot. We called they already know our names . The chicken is so juice and flavorful. Is really amazing how much flavor there chicken has. And how juice they are able make it . They don't take away from the chicken they just enhance the flavors. Don't even get me started on there SECO DE CARNE the meat again so flavorful , so juice , it just comes right off . The portions are also very large. There ceviche is another deliciousness . They know how to make things to perfection . Even there fries are delicious . If you've ever wanted really great, delicious and juicy rotisserie chicken Lola's is the place to go! Yes it is in a rundown strip mall with shady people all around but the chicken is amazing. I don't personally recommend eating there since it's not very big and you wouldn't enjoy eating your lunch with strangers jeering at you. I am Peruvian and I have had many Peruvian style rotisserie chickens in my time. This is by far the best and would never compare it to anything like El Pollo Loco or the ultimate disgrace to chicken, KFC. If you have ever had the pleasure of eating El Pollo Inka then this place is a must because the food is much better. Also, a favorite of mine at Lola's is dipping my fries in their green chile sauce.
