A piece of glass my pupusas.
    Milton M.

Really disappointed. Ordered takeout through Yelp/Grubhub since this is one of the few Salvadoran spots open late. The food tasted great--until I bit into a pupusa and found a piece of green glass. That completely killed the experience. I picked through the pan con pollo, which was okay, but the glass was a total dealbreaker. Grubhub refunded us for three pupusas, but still--super disappointing. The flavors were solid, but foreign objects in your food should never be an issue.

Amazing food, friendly service! So friendly that the staff gave us a bottle of Chardonnay and a toy for the little one! The shrimp and Popusas were made fresh and seasoned to perfection definitely a must try!

First time trying this place and very disappointed. We ordered a parrillada, since when do parrilladas look like soup??? Porque tiene caldo, plus we waited over 30 minutes for this and when we confronted them about it, they asked if we could wait longer for them to replace it. Not ok. Not coming back here.

Worst place ever they don't follow sanitation rules and pupusas are 4.00 too much so I guess arroz pupusas are five dollars

Most flavorful and softest pupusas I've ever had. Haven't eaten them anywhere else since I had them here. No comparison!

Traditional Salvadorean Cuisine in the SFV!…read more Our first time trying Salvadorean food at this family owned restaurant in Reseda. Carlos gave us some great recommendations so we ended up trying pupusas for the first time. It's made with a homemade corn dough. It's thicker than a regular corn tortilla and stuffed with ground pork and cheese. They have a variety of fillings. You can add salsa roja, a flavorful tomato-based sauce or habanero sauce. Served with Curtido, a tangy, fermented cabbage slaw. So crispy, cheesy and filling. It came burning hot - I could barely hold it. But, I would definitely order this again! We tried Desayuno Típico, a traditional Salvadoran breakfast, which came with casamiento (beans and rice mixed together), Salvadorean style chorizo, fried plantains, 2 eggs, avocado, fresh cheese and Salvadorean style sour cream and homemade corn tortillas. If you're craving authentic Salvadoran comfort food made with love -- this is the spot!…read more The pupusas were perfection -- handmade, and stuffed generously with rich, savory fillings. I got the beans one, soooo good! Crispy on the outside, soft and melty on the inside... chef's kiss. Paired with the fresh cabbage salad and salsa, every bite was full of flavor. The pan con pollo was just as amazing -- tender, well-seasoned chicken with fresh veggies and bread that soaked up all the goodness. So hearty and satisfying! And don't skip the atole -- warm, comforting, and perfectly balanced. It felt like a hug in a cup You can truly taste the authenticity and care in every dish. Portions are generous, prices are great, and the overall vibe is welcoming and comforting -- like a home-cooked meal away from home. 10/10 Highly recommend if you love flavorful, authentic Salvadoran food.
