Delicious pupusas at a great price. We ordered take out, and my husband butchered all the words, but the waiter was very patient and even explained what some of the menu items were. Definitely make sure you get all the pupusas with the cheese. My favorite ones were spanish and pupusa de loroco. Will be back! read more

Cinco de Mayo hell. Wow! 2 hours and 40 minutes and we finally get food and it's cold! I don't ever know how to review this. We walked in at 6.. Waited about 20 minutes to get a table. No worries..It's Cinco de Mayo. Grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a couple margaritas. The smell of the establishment smelt of stale alcohol. (I've been a bartender for years and know the smell well.. Comes from insufficient cleaning). But alcohol kills everything right? So drinks in hand we get seated with our group. They didn't have enough menus so we ordered more drinks and graciously waited for menus to become available. When we finally got menus, we ordered fajitas. An hour and a half passed by... No waitress. Mind you, other tables that came after us have come and went. We went to the front and said, what's up? We were assured by owner food was coming out. Several minutes later food finally came out (2 hours 40 minutes late!) And it was cold! I'm not paying $25 for cold food! I held the fajita meat in my hand, it was that cold. I sent it back. What a joke! Management... It's a holiday that is celebrated in America (Even though we were celebrating a birthday). Get it together! Have a small menu that's easy to get out in a timely manner at set holiday prices! Only reason I'm giving two stars is that we did enjoy the marriacha band. And the bathrooms were clean! I'm a guy who loves the oddballs so naturally I'm in a tiny, unknown restaurant and when they offer uncommon versions of the pupusas I like.... I'm sold. Camarones- Delicious Queso y Jalapeno-Please and Thank You The ensalada drink was a heaping, juicy pile o' fruit. They didn't bother to slice 'em small enough that they'd fit through the straw so they serve you a spoon too. It's more like a fruit salad in a cup than at any Salvadoran place I can remember. I've seen this place for over three years but have never tried it until today. I came inside on a Saturday afternoon, there a few folks inside eating their lunch. This place is a really cute hole in the wall family owned restaurant. I had craving for pupusas so that's what I ordered: pork with cheese and beans, squash, and spinach. Be warned that the 1.99 pupusas are pretty big, you can also get their 99 cent special which is the pork which is a smaller size but should fill you up with 2-3 orders. The pupusas was well made and was delicious. Just a warning tho, you might wait a bit since they make it to order which is great! . We really loved this place. Let's begin with customer service. We had amazing customer service while being there. I had ordered an horchata meanwhile we waited for our pupusas and I loved their horchata! Sooooo delicious!! We ordered the pupusas which was queso (cheese) and revuelta (cheese, pork and beans). I felt they weren't as greasy as other places. They have different sizes of pupusas so make sure you ask! We enjoyed the revueltas more than the cheese ones. It had perfect quantity inside the pupusa. We will definitely be going back! Parking is very limited so it can get a little frustrating when it is full. read more

Alittle but too much masa but it's still tasty and not super greasy. Don't get me wrong though they're still greasy but not as bad as other places I tried. The salsa is not spicy for anyone who's wondering but it is on the watery side. The only thing that makes it up is the curtido. It's pretty good and fresh! Over it's a solid meal. Amazing Salvadoran food, great customer service. They have the best pupusas that I've tried in the valley. It seems that they have a really high turnaround for workers since I always see different people, which is why I think some people have complained about bad service before. But with the team they have now, they've been really attentive and the food is fresh and delicious. Only downside is bad parking so I suggest parking on the street and walking there. It's a tiny little restaurant so not great for big groups but if you want quality, authentic Salvadoran food, this is the place to go. read more

Pretty chill spot to get some papusas. I saw they had a sign for $1.10 papusas. I got a variety of the bigger papusas that are $2.20. I had a craving for pupusas and decided to try out a local place. My boyfriend had seen La Paz before and we were in the area, so we stopped in and ordered 5 different pupusas to-go. The food took kind of awhile to come out, but we were able to sit at a table and watch the soccer game they had playing on the TV, so it wasn't too bad. The staff was friendly enough and brought our food out to us when it was ready. The pupusas were delicious! Very fresh, good sized (my boyfriend and I split the 5 and are both quite full now), great taste, and overall very good! Also comes with good amount of curtido and salsa roja on the side. There were a fair number of people eating dinner there when we went and the dishes we saw looked good too! Looked like fresh, handmade tortillas too.
