Came in around 3ish. Good vibes. Pretty busy during the 2.5 hours I was here. The barista Andrew was really friendly!

Really good coffee and pastry selection . The shop itself is cute and the line and wait for food and drink goes by fast .

We needed an afternoon pick-me-up after a full morning of errands, so we stopped by Lola Coffee--a local favorite--and it did not disappoint. The coffee was incredibly fresh, with beans that were clearly just ground, and you can taste the quality in every sip. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, perfect for a little scrolling or catching up on emails. A great spot to recharge in the middle of the day!

Needed a pick me up on a gloomy Sunday afternoon. Somehow, I easily found curbside parking nearby, right in front of Sosoba less than 150 ft away. I'm a sweet tooth and opted for the medium pecan pie latte, one of the fall menu drink specials, for $6. I didn't love the aftertaste of the drink that likely came from the pecan syrup. The interior was peaceful, especially with the ample natural sunlight and view of the cars passing by on Roosevelt. I stayed for a few hours, savoring my drink and staying hydrated with their self-service water station, doing work on my laptop taking advantage of their 4 outlets against the main wall. The restroom requires a key, found hanging by the entrance to the kitchen, attached to a ladel (it's hard to miss lol). I loved the sense of serenity here. The music wasn't playing too loud, and those that gathered came to socialize, read, and do work. It felt like a perfect community space. Didn't love my particular drink but am down to try other options, incuding their cafe latte likely with a different syrup next time.

Really good espresso, I got a latte with their spiced brown sugar syrup. Also got a brownie but wasn't anything special. Cute location with friendly staff!

Decided to check out this local coffee shop. Nice vibes. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a breakfast burrito. They had a breakfast burrito of the day special but I opted to build my own. I had a burrito with eggs, cheese, spinach and mushroom with salsa on the side. The burrito was delicious and I enjoyed my latte.

Came in today right before my nail app across the street to grab some coffee and a little snack and I am so pleasantly surprised! The coffee is great, the espresso quality is smooth and even with an extra shot, the flavors in my vanilla oat latte really balance out well! The staff are all so sweet and the coffee comes out QUICK-- like surprisingly quick! I barely finished paying and my drink was done! The chocolate babke knot I got to go was also sooooo yummy! They warmed it up for me and it was so melty, soft, warm and delish. Love the location of this spot too, on Roosevelt but in the suburbs area which makes it feel cozier than the inner city cafes. Will definitely be back!

A lovely coffee shop in historic downtown Phoenix. The staff were friendly and helpful with drink and food suggestions.

Definitely a cute coffee shop in downtown Phoenix, with delicious baked goods and a beautiful mural inside. Workers were kind, however, the coffee and drinks are pretty expensive. My chai tea latte was pretty flavorless, but the iced latte was delicious.

The coffee here is so delicious. They do this espresso whipped cream that they put on top of your coffee and it's delicious and delectable!! I had their version of a white chocolate mocha, made with oat milk. I came here twice on my trip in town to visit my daughter. all of the workers are so nice and so helpful, it's a cute little vibe inside perfect spot with couches and cute little tables and chairs. There was also an outside patio area as well.

Great coffee spot!! Loved my iced vanilla latte and yummy blueberry muffin. Lots of great drinks and pastries to choose from. Friendly staff and seating inside and out. Free parking in a lot right around the corner.

Cute little coffee shop on 3rd Avenue. Great place for a quick pick me up. Ambience is really cool and comforting, not to mention great coffee drinks and fresh daily homemade pastry. We will return

If you want coffee, they serve it... got the iced coffee but it wasn't very good. I would recommend going to a Starbucks over this place.

I've only heard great things and it was such a pleasure to make a visit. The interior is ultra modern, and art-centered. On a Wednesday morning, there was one staff member holding it down and a wait/line with about 5-6 people, so the wait was about 15-20 minutes in total-- including ordering and waiting for drinks. There was mainly only paid street parking options, but it wasn't hard to find any right in front of the shop. I got two drinks: Más and Abeja, to try their matcha and coffee, and really thoroughly enjoyed both. The matcha is a little bit on the milkier side, but I did enjoy that it was completely unsweetened, and leaned on the vanilla cold foam for a light sweetness. I think I enjoyed the coffee more personally, as the honey paired super well with the espresso and oat milk. The espresso is very good. I would come back if I was in the area, I just wish the parking situation was a little different!

I came in the late afternoon to this bakery/coffee house combo, and I was pleasantly surprised with the environment. Lots of natural light and easy-going atmosphere. It was a small shop, but still had good seating. I ordered a prickly pear espresso tonic and got a bag of beans as well. I had a great interaction with the barista and she recommended me some good beans to take home. The tonic itself was very refreshing, and I was happy to have it on one of the hottest days of the year up until then. Lovely vibes and the coffee is great. I think I want to come back to try their other espresso-based stuff to get a good gauge on how a flat white or cortado tastes. I'll definitely want to come back, especially to visit their larger location in Chandler.

Overall, this was a solid coffee shop experience with friendly staff, tasty food, and a clean space that made it easy to hang out for a bit. Inside/Outside - 4/5 The shop was clean, organized, and well maintained. Everything felt organized and efficient, which I appreciated. There was plenty of seating and a comfortable environment to enjoy coffee or get some work done. My only gripe is that the space felt a little too polished. It had more of a corporate coffee shop feel than the cozy neighborhood café vibe I typically gravitate toward. Nothing wrong with that, just a matter of personal preference. Customer Service - 4/5 The staff were nice and kind. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming, patient, and happy to answer questions. Service was quick, and I had my order in hand before long. Food & Dranks - 4/5 I ordered the Peanut Butter Shaker along with the Bacon & Egg Empanada. The Peanut Butter Shaker was smooth, refreshing, and packed with flavor. Definitely a fun twist if you're looking for something beyond your standard coffee order. Plus came with some extra protein. The Bacon & Egg Empanada was warm, flaky, and made for a great grab-and-go breakfast. Nothing overly fancy, but it hit the spot and paired well with the drink. A little small but definitely a great snax. TL;DR - Overall: 4/5 - Clean and organized coffee shop - Street parking - Peanut Butter Shaker was delicious with extra protein - Bacon & Egg Empanada made for a solid snax - Good spot to grab coffee, work, or relax - Only drawback was that it felt a bit corporate versus a cozy local coffeehouse - Would happily stop by again for a coffee and snack

Bad Ass Coffee...first of all, LOVE the name!…read more I stopped into the CityScape location in downtown Phoenix around 2 PM on a Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't crowded at all, and there was plenty of seating. I also loved the decor and overall vibe of the place. Such a fun coffee shop! But here's the part that really impressed me...if you order an iced coffee drink, they use frozen cubes of COFFEE instead of regular ice! Genius!! As you get down to those last few sips and the cubes start melting, your drink doesn't turn into watered-down coffee. Why doesn't every coffee shop do this?! The coffee is from Hawaii, and they have lots of different flavors and drinks to choose from. I ordered a medium iced sugar-free caramel latte, and it was delicious! The baked goods also looked so good and made it difficult to decide whether I needed one of those too. There was plenty of seating when I visited, the atmosphere was fun, and I really enjoyed my drink. This was definitely not your boring, everyday coffee shop. Their coffee really is Bad Ass!

Well, I finally made it! And of course, what did I order? MATCHA! Because if you know me, you know I love my matcha! I decided to try their Iced Matcha Latte, and I have to say, it was really good! The matcha flavor was enjoyable, creamy, and refreshing. My only little complaint was that it was a bit sweeter than I personally prefer. But hey, now I know! Next time, I'm going to request half the sweetness and see how that works out. Sometimes you just have to figure out your perfect combination! What surprised me was that they offer more than just coffee and tea. They also have breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and several other goodies on their menu. I wasn't planning to eat this time, but you better believe I'll be coming back to explore some of those options! The shop itself is cute, clean, and has a nice little Hawaiian-inspired atmosphere. I especially enjoyed seeing the photograph of the Kahanamoku Brothers, celebrating Hawaii's surfing history. Such a nice touch! And the staff? Wonderful! Everyone was friendly and welcoming, which made my first visit even more enjoyable. Another little bonus is that this location is right along my route to work. How convenient is that?! LOL! I can already see myself making a few more stops here. Overall, I really enjoyed my first visit to Bad Ass Coffee. The matcha was good, the shop was clean, and the service was friendly. Would I return? ABSOLUTELY! Next time, half the sweetness on my matcha, and maybe I'll grab a breakfast sandwich while I'm at it! Glad I finally crossed this one off my list, although something tells me it won't be my last visit!
