I'd describe it as "Chico nice" -- casual and trendy, but not fine dining or especially refined service. The food was okay to good, but nothing memorable. We ordered the avocado toast, chicken sandwich, a beer, and a sweet drink, and the total came to about $72. Everything was perfectly fine, just not the kind of food or experience that would make me want to return, especially for a birthday celebration. Overall, it's a decent spot for a casual lunch, but it didn't feel particularly special for the price.

The same ole same ole in most drag in Chico is dated. Sir Vix ran an amazing show I'll be glad to come back to! They just need to let the volume up and crank the feeling. Because it was alittle hot outside we were able to eat indoors with my well behaved pup! We shared the Korean pork ribs which were slightly crispy and flavorful! Very good choice! We also had a hazy beer and I had a glass of wine. That get very busy as soon as the doors open at 11am! For some reason my puppy seemed a bit scared of the noise so we packed up the food and left. Cailyn was very kind and understood my dog wasn't having it and needed to leave! It's a fun place with a great menu!

It's growing quickly yet it's a sweet quiet area from a thriving town. No crazy hustle and crowds! Burban Kitchen is very trendy with an open concept. They have a dog friendly patio! I got the roasted potatoes with carnitas and eggs. The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium which is my favorite. The potatoes were beautifully roasted while soft on the inside. The pico de gallo also seemed fresh and flavorful. My friend got the chicken and waffles and felt the chicken was well seasoned and crunchy while still tender. We shared the bam bam waffle, it was very sweet, the black berry sauce was a good tart taste to balance out all the sugar. I will say that although the food was delicious and fresh, the price was a little higher than expected. An extra side of syrup was $2 more. A side of eggs(2) was $5. I shared the receipt. My boyfriend and I shared the Mediterranean scramble with spinach. It was sooo good! Hash browns were nice and crispy as requested! Amanda was our waitress and she was very kind and accommodating! After being seated, It took close to 5 minutes to get approached by anyone and was asked if I wanted a drink. Ordered coffee and a water. Close to 10 minutes later, my waitress came by to take my order. I went to the restroom and returned to find my water missing but my coffee was still there. Food arrived fairly quickly. The hash browns were completely overcooked with no yellow potatoes at all, everything was beyond crispy brown. The toast was cold and /or stale. Never saw my waitress after placing my order. Had to flag down some other employee for a box for my sausage and jalapeno scramble and my check. Considering the amount of employees in this place, the service was terrible. No one was rude but service was non existent. No one offered to refill my coffee or even came by during the 25 minutes I was there after my order was delivered. $25 for a coffee and scramble I've been to Nash's plenty of times and this was by far the worst experience. Crossing it off my choices when I come to Chico. Side note: there was a beautiful car parked outside.

My guest arrived and the sever didn't come back for at least 10 min. But ok. No biggie. We ordered a soda and an iced tea. When those arrived we ordered food. My tacos came quickly and then we sat, looking at my food while we waited for the other entrée, the burger. 10 minutes later it shows up served by another server, no explanation or even acknowledgement that it took 10 minutes between me being served and my companion being served. Anyway our server was MIA for the rest of our stay. No offer of a refill for our beverages, no asking if the food was ok. Nothing. We stayed about 2 hours total and my normal policy is to double the tip because I have taken a table for about twice as long as normal. Unfortunately service was sub par. Oh and tea was incredibly strong not in a good way.
