Great food. My personal favorite is biscuits and gravy with fried taters. Pam likes the pancakes, bacon and eggs.

Absolutely delicious breakfast! I had the country fried steak, sliced potatoes and scrambled eggs with cheese, service was fast and extremely nice. Restaurant is actually very large inside and was very busy! Highly impressed and we will be back!

sat down for an early dinner on sunday. greeted and sat almost immediately. service was quick and friendly. server recommendation was the blackened catfish and that's what i had i chose the green beans and french fries for my sides and it came out rather quickly. fresh, hot, and flavorful. i didn't think i was hungry when i sat down. but shortly after my first few bites i realized i had finished. fish was tender and seasoned perfectly. the fries were crunchy but lacked salt. the green beans were great although they had a bit too much juice, and the bacon if crispy would've been an excellent addition. overall everything was great and i would definitely come back.

This place is great. It's an old log cabin turned into a restaurant. The decor is great. The menu has a pretty good variety. I've been going here for years and am always so impressed with how busy they stay. Even when busy though, service has always been good for me. I've liked everything I've ever tried... except the frog legs. To be fair, it was the only time I'd ever tried frog legs and I don't think I'd like them anywhere. The friend I was with loved them though! It is awesome they have them on their menu. They have a lot of southern favorites like fried green tomatoes and Kentucky hot brown. Some of my top favorite things of theirs are their ribs, their buffalo chicken wrap, their onion rings, and any of their breakfast food. I also love their salads as they make their own croutons and they are fire! Their ranch is good too. If you are in the area, they are definitely worth trying.

We went to the Log Cabin on our way home from Big Bone Lick. We were hot and sweaty from hiking, it was over 90° that day and was hoping to cool down, but it was extremely hot in here. I am not sure if that is the norm. Our server forgot to bring the hot slaw that I asked for, but after thinking about it as hot as it was, it probably wouldn't have been the best thing for a hot person trying to cool down. It was a lot busier this time than it was the first time we were there.

This place is the real deal. The prices were amazing, portions were huge, and the food was delicious. I usually strongly dislike biscuits unless they're drowning in gravy, but I put butter and jam on their biscuit and it was the stuff of dreams. Buttery and fluffy and sent from heaven. The service was also top notch and our glasses were never empty during our meal. Can't wait to come back and try their legendary pancakes!

I have eaten at this establishment several times the food is always outstanding your old country breakfasts like grandma used to fix. The service has always been outstanding and the price is very reasonable. The facility is very clean and very neat considering it's an old old cabin. I highly recommend eating any meal at this establishment.

Log Cabin has long been one of our favourite little restaurants over the years. It has underone some changes in that time but the great food and classic environment have remained in place. On this occasion we started with a sampler which had a good amount of their appetizers. Included were cheese logs, potato skins, and chicken tenders. The tenders were pretty good as were the cheese logs/sticks. My favourite of this group were the loaded skins which had cheese and bacon bits and of course sour cream for dipping. Really good. For my main course I tried the Open Face Roast Beef With Mashed Potatoes. It waa covered with a delicious brown gravy that brought the whole thing together and made it a really fantastic dish. They really piled the delicious roast beef on which was nice and their mashed potatoes were one of the better one's that I've had. The service was really good and rounded out another delicious lunch at Log Cabin.

Outstanding! Stopped for lunch and this place seemed to be out of the way in the sticks...I was wrong because when I pulled in the parking lot was packed, the restaurant was packed and I ended up sitting at the bar along with several other single serve patrons. I had the liver and onions which seems to be difficult to find. This was an outstanding offering. I would come here for this or several other items off the menu. It seems this place really knows how to put it out. Service was also exceptional with several servers checking in on me. Go out of your way and stop in for a meal.

service was horrible. First time here. Menu actually brought me here. Wanted to see if a good recommendation for our 6-10 lunch group that meets weekly. The food taste was definitely a 5 star, sides could've been hot not warm. Chicken cooked to perfection. The service was the problem and it wasn't even busy

The Goetta is a regional dish popular to the area comprised of sausage and potato fried like a smash burger. It was packed full of flavor and was nice and crispy. A must get was the biscuit and gravy. Unlike the southern style which is usually thick and creamy, this has amazing seasoning, plenty of the sausage crumble, and rich texture. The biscuit underneath was soft and savory and paired very well in this dish. The filet and eggs were perfectly cooked and had good flavor. There were a lot of diced potatoes on the plate to enjoy which was also well seasoned and crispy. Lastly the big easy omelette was very good. I do like the fact it was plated on top of a piece of toast. The biscuit and gravy along with the omelette gave a very strong New Orleans feeling. The cocktails also hit their mark. Local distillery Riff was the maker of the bourbon for the mule. I'm not sure of their lineup but it compared to Bulleit Bourbon. Very stable in the cocktail without being overpowering. The hard truth was a coffee with a punch and a great way to start a vacation morning. The restaurant was deceptively large from its outward appearance. There is lots of seating available and the tables moved swiftly. The large garage style doors allowed for full fresh air circulation and opens the brightness from the natural lighting. Being a corner location they were able to maximize on the opened interior dining experience. Overall 4.7 out of 5

The space is open, bright and well decorated making it very inviting for brunch. You order at the counter from the menus placed along the wall then food is delivered to your table. The various brunch items all sounded very inviting so I was having trouble deciding what to order. So I got a recommendation to try the Shakshuka. Not sure how to pronounce it but when it arrived it was just the right portion and quite tasty for brunch. It's a bowl with a red pepper sauce and feta cheese and kale along with eggs sunny side up. The dish is served with pita so you can do a little bit of dipping in the tasty sauce. To accompany our food we selected the mimosa service and bloody mary pitcher. A pitcher is just perfect for sharing. And the mimosa service was delightful. The server arrived with a bottle of Prosecco and small carafes of orange, grapefruit and blood orange juices to mix yourself. The food was fresh and tasty with prompt delivery of our food to our table. Not quite a full service restaurant since you have to order at the counter but still a nice experience located downtown.

It comes with a bread option, so I went for one of their in-house biscuits with a side of gravy. The onions were a fine dice and well sautéed in my omelette, which was perfect! And the biscuit was just as yummy as I remembered. Good things to note: You pay at the table, with the option to do tap/Apple pay , which I greatly appreciate. Don't forget to get a couple of biscuits to take home and later enjoy with butter and honey.

What's striking about the restaurant itself is how quiet and calm it feels. Not to say energy is low or it's so quiet you feel self-conscious talking; it's just that nothing about the experience feels rushed or accidental. As expected, the bread course was phenomenal as was all the food we enjoyed! We opted for the wine pairing along with dinner, which results in about 1.5 or 2 full glasses over the course of the meal. The sommelier did an excellent job introducing and explaining each wine, as well as why it was selected to pair with each course. All told, a lovely experience and one worth repeating--and not just because the menu changes every season.

I was the odd man out because everyone else ordered the Spring Manhattan. Judging by how quickly everyone's drinks disappeared, I'd say they were all very tasty. I was a little unsure about mine at first, so to make sure the quality and taste were consistent, I ordered a second, and it definitely was not a mistake. I ordered the B+G biscuits (which are made by hand according to server in the hotel) and gravy with an extra egg. Others at the table chose a variety of dishes, including the CVG, Cobb Salad, Bagel and Lox, and several other selections. Based on the clean plates all around the table, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My wife ordered a sample of banana bread, and I was fortunate enough to snag a small bite, it was excellent. After we had all finished, everyone agreed that my niece had made an excellent choice for her graduation celebration brunch. Fried Chicken? Libby's gots the goods!…read more I've been here a few times now. A lover of fried chicken who is always on the hunt for the good stuff, Libby's does not disappoint. Located just over the river in Covington, KY, Libby's is only a few blocks walk from some of the happenings in Covington, like the Madison Theatre and Madison Live. There's a decent pay parking lot right at the intersection just across the street from Libby's. I went for the fried chicken and that's what I got.... both times. Libby's is nowhere near me so it was worth the 40 minute drive to get there the first time and an easy go-to for the second time around when I was going out for the night in Covington. The fried chicken is super crispy, full of flavor and moist and delicious. Libby's crushes it when it comes to the fried chicken. Here's the thing - I got sides both times. The chicken, being the feature of the meal, was so good that I don't even remember the sides that I got. I can say though that they were good. Libby's is popular. So, plan on a wait or, if available, to take a seat at the bar. Libby's isn't huge but they have space to take on a larger table of people to small high-tops for two or, again, for one or a few to grab a seat at the bar. The staff is friendly and helpful. We never wanted for anything. They were on top of it without bothering you. Would I go back? Cluck yeah, I'd go back. Remember when I said "Libby's gots the goods"? I wasn't kidding.
