I stopped for lunch at Highland Square Deli. Wow! What a Reuben!! It was so good. The highlight was the rye bread. It was slightly toasted to perfection. The sauce was on the lighter side which kept the sandwich from becoming a mess as I was eating it. The beef, sauerkraut and cheese were all in balanced in the right proportions. The sandwich came with chips also. This Reuben stacks up with the best of them! I ordered for carry out and had my meal in about ten minutes despite the restaurant being completely packed. Great, friendly, quick service in this small but bustling deli. It might now be my go to spot for a deli sandwich. read more

Stopped to grab a quick lunch with my daughter and we hadn't been since it used to be another cafe. We no longer live in the area and hadn't realized this new little gem has already been open for about 2 years!!!! We both opted for the sandwich and soup combo -she got a hot ham and cheese, while I chose the grilled cheese. We both got the smooth and creamy tomato basil soup. This place was really a pleasant surprise! We were looking for a brunch/lunch spot we could get to quickly and this popped up on Yelp. It was a perfect little cafe for lunch. It's small inside, but there's seating in the restaurant as well as outside on a large patio (it was raining when we went so it was closed). Service was friendly and the food was great. What a great place for summertime lunch! Entering the restaurant you get a sense you are on your patio!!! The air is refreshing and steps in the area are clearly marked. I am not in Fort Thomas very often. Every six weeks for a haircut. I will be visiting this place every six weeks It is so delicious. The cafe is cute and has a covered porch which is my favorite part. They serve sandwiches and salads and wraps. I ordered the chicken avocado wrap which tasted so fresh and light. We have really enjoyed multiple visits here over the last few months. The food comes out quick (especially nice when with little kids) and is still so fresh. Happy to note they have gluten free bread available. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We had a large party full of little kids for lunch and the staff/manager went above and beyond. This cafe was recommended while I was visiting friends for the weekend. It was a great recommendation for lunch. It has a parking lot and plenty of seating inside, porch and outside dining. You walk up to the counter, order, pay and wait for food. It was a tough choice but I went with the Chicken Avocado Wrap which was delicious. You get your choice of chips. Perfect choice for lunch. They have wraps, sandwiches, salads and soups. They also have a kids menu and wine, beer and seltzers. If I lived in the area this would be a go to for lunch. It was fresh, fast and delicious. Saw many good reviews and had to try it for myself. After looking at the menu, I was pleased to see they had shredded chicken for wraps and salads. I ordered a chicken club ranch wrap minus the romaine to go. When I got home I tried it and for the most part was pleased but I had to look hard for any cheese or bacon. In fact, one half didn't have either. They were allowing a young man to make the wrap - I wonder how it would have been if someone more experienced made it. read more
