Don't do it. I am beginning to write this as we hit minute…read more35 of waiting for our food. As an Ohio girl, I was so excited to come to this location for the first time. We waited ten minutes in line to order, but that wasn't enough to warn us and it really didn't seem so bad. No warnings from employees were given to us about how long this would take. As we left the register towards the seating area, I counted 7 unbussed tables- we were forced to sit at the only table without either ample trash or people. I only saw two employees, neither of whom moved with any urgency- more of a lazy afternoon pace. The table of teenagers next to us exclaimed to one of them, "What is going on in the kitchen back there?!" Don't get me wrong, everyone was kind, just...not at all service-oriented towards a very hungry crowd. I did finally see some tables "bussed," but they were not wiped down or disinfected in any way. Which doesn't give me hope for the cleanliness of the rest of the place. At minute 45 of waiting, my husband went to ask what is going on, but had to wait in a line to do so. At one hour, we finally got to the register and said, "If you haven't even started our food yet, we'd love a refund." We got a refund. Hallelujah. They were kind about that But that also means we had waited for our food for an entire hour and they still hadn't even started it or come out to explain- nothing. Not even an apology. What we did get was a quiet resignation. We felt really bad for the girl working the register. I rated the food 3 stars bc I know it's good in Ohio, but we didn't actually ever get any served to us. But the worst part is knowing a place I love from Ohio is failing me. An hour and a half (30 min round trip and an hour of waiting) of my life I'll never get back.

3 Stars - Good Pho, but Cleanliness and Service Were Major Problems…read more You and I Kitchen - Sandy 8528 S 1300 E Sandy, UT 84048 Visited: August 13, 2026 I decided to give You and I Kitchen a try because I believe its Yelp rating was over four stars, which, after my visit, I find pretty hard to believe. I ordered the Rib Eye Steak Pho ($15.45), which was essentially a rare beef pho, and that was definitely the highlight of the meal. If I were rating the restaurant strictly on the pho, I would probably give it four stars. The broth was flavorful, the beef was good, and overall I enjoyed it. Unfortunately, just about everything else brought the experience down considerably. The biggest problems were the lack of cleanliness and the almost completely absent service. No one voluntarily came back to my table to check on me during my entire meal. Anytime I needed something, I literally had to get up, walk toward the back of the restaurant, find someone, and ask them to come out. I had to do this for water, my iced coffee, and even some extra green onions. That's simply not acceptable table service. I also ordered the fried pot stickers, 5 pieces ($7.95). They were okay, but there was really nothing special or memorable about them. The Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk ($5.95) was also disappointing. It tasted watered down and lacked the strong, rich coffee flavor I normally expect from Vietnamese iced coffee. My food subtotal was $29.35, plus an $0.88 credit-card surcharge and $2.58 tax, bringing the total to $32.81 before tip. I was actually leaning toward 2 1/2 stars, but the pho was good enough to pull the overall rating up to three. Even so, between the cleanliness issues, nonexistent attention from the staff, mediocre pot stickers, and weak iced coffee, this was a pretty disappointing visit. I doubt I would return, but if I did, it would probably only be for the pho--and I would go in with very low expectations when it comes to service and cleanliness.

Knickerbockers Deli…read more Location: Cottonwood Heights - 6322 S 3000 E, Suite 130, Salt Lake City, UT Date: September 23, 2026 Price: About $12-$13 per sandwich First time trying Knickerbockers Deli, and I stopped in because it was close to my hotel. Really nice little deli with a friendly staff and noticeably fresh ingredients. I had the BLT on white bread ($11.25) with a half order of fries ($2.75), and everything was fresh and tasty. We also tried the Smoked Turkey & Veggie sandwich ($12.50), which was another good choice. A 20 oz. soda was $1.95. Our total for everything came to $31.74 including tax and fees. Nothing overly complicated here--just fresh ingredients, tasty sandwiches, friendly service, and reasonable prices. I told my wife that we could have about 40 croissants for that price if we were in Paris. C'est la vie! Look for a chain - Its pretty good.
