OKAY SO, this is a really difficult review for me to write. We REALLY wanted to love this place, and we were so excited when it joined the Canton scene. HOWEVER, I am just not that impressed! The prices are way too high for what you get, and while the food is tasty, the portions are too tiny to match the final bill you'll get at the end of the night. The wings were delicious, but the serving size was almost laughable for a $13 appetizer. The service was just not good at all either, especially for a weeknight visit. Decor is really cool, but we felt a little too close to the people next to us. I will say that the steak with chimicchurri was outstanding. Other than that, I really can't think of a reason we'd return, not when there are so many other places with outstanding prices, food, and service now in Canton! If anything changes, we'd try again but until then, it's a "no thanks" for us. read more

We started with a Moscow Mule with Black cherries, and from their list of cocktails, a very refreshing "Canton Cooler". Canton's new hidden gem. The food is amazing! Bang Bang shrimp, so darn good! Had the Steak and Frittes, the chimichurri is on point. Parsley, a little red pepper and just the right amount of garlic. Perfect compliment to the marinated hangar. Fries were cooked perfectly! A charming trendy little place in the heart of down Canton Ga. There is parking on the street and plenty of public parking lots close by. An old building that was rustic restored with trendy decor live entertainment and a see through kitchen make this a pleasure to dine. The service is top notch from host to servers to kitchen. You won't be disappointed. The food came out hot, correct and the presentation and taste was awesome. The cost was in line with the area and priced right for this delicious food. The appetizer was the Bang Bang shrimp fried and marinated with a sweet chili sauce and lemon aioli was tasty with many flavors. The cumin crusted tender pork with chipotle sweet potato was amazing cooked to perfection. And the bartender created one of the best Brandy Old Fashions I've ever tasted. Amazing food and has the perfect special events large room. We had our son's rehearsal dinner there 11/12/2020. Contract was not complicated and special requests were easy accommodated by Ric and the owners! Everything was perfect and we had plenty of room for social distancing. Great fresh food, service and bar. A Friday night out with family led us to try something new- Canton is quickly becoming a treasure with its walkable setting. Move over Roswell, there's a new kid on the block which isn't as crowded and dare I say, giving a good run for the restaurant selections. Upon arriving I was a bit concerned, it was fairly empty with a lot of waitstaff seemingly hanging around having a good time. I thought it was a sign that it was not a busy spot- always makes me nervous it may be a bad choice in the making. Bathrooms checkout- clean and easy to find. A table set towards the back for our table of 8, we met Aaron our server who was a wealth of information and suggestions. Aaron is a keeper- if you like attentive service, real suggestions- he will not steer you wrong. Request him if you can. Let's be honest, I can be intimidating- I love this camera and good food! Appetizers- bang bang shrimp- delicately crispy, standard Asian feel- yum! Bork belly, fluffy, great texture and a citrus slaw that paired wonderfully- not overly grizzly, excellent choice. Mussels- this one here is the jackpot! Tender mussels, white sauce? Red sauce? Nope! Creamy garlicky sauce-wonderful, and as an aside- you can ask for extra toast, they'll keep bringing it as long as you keep asking- Now I could have stopped here with a bite off each plate, but you know- Friday night out and nowhere to be sooo.... Dinner- I had the steak frites, tender skirt steak topped with chimichurri for a nice acidity. Crispy fries and an intentional or unintentional wilted lettuce with a mild vinaigrette- so good! Lots on my plate here, with plenty of steak to take home for seconds. Brother in law ordered the same- not a fan of the chimichurri, if you're on the fence get it on the side but I personally loved it. Hubby had the grilled veal, I'm not a veal eater- I took a bite, excellent, along with his potatoes mashed and Brussel sprouts with a sweet peppery glaze. Sister ordered the snapper- delicate white fish, with bok choy- only drawback was it was light on the salt, but to be fair that's the safer bet with seafood! Nephew- pizza sans the ricotta- safe choice for the picky patron- but looked crispy, fresh and artisanal. Niece 2, lemon chicken with potato pancake, yes it was beautiful. Yes it was tender. Yes it was a gentle lemon sauce. Yes I took a bite. Yes I'd order it myself. You can't go wrong with this plate. Niece 1 and birthday boy- shrimp tacos and steak tacos- both plated well and they enjoyed it. Also plenty for leftovers too. Everyone had to go leftover but the veal plate- hubby wasn't chancing someone eating his leftovers. Birthdays get a complimentary creme brûlée + Ordered a full creme brûlée for the table- it was slightly mealy, flavor was on point - Go for the fried chocolate cake- flourless chocolate cake rolled in graham cracker and deep fried. Crispy outside, gooey inside with a scoop of ice cream. Fantastic +++ By the time we left the place was packed with a live jazz band at the front. We went there tonight with another couple who had been previously and spoke highly of it. The food was outstanding, the service prompt and courteous and the menu just right. Unfortunately, what we had hoped would be a nice dinner with close friends turned into a shouting extravaganza as the music (which was good, by the way) was so loud it was nearly impossible to hear each other. Even our waiter mentioned it was quite loud and had asked for it to be lowered. Will we go back? For the food and atmosphere, certainly, but most likely we won't just because of the music. There are enough choices around town that I don't need to go back to this place. The attitude of the red headed guy upon arrival was insulting. He may have been just a host but I got the impression that he was the owner. I'll spare you the off-putting details. Great...we're off to a lousy start and I've not been seated. Last time I was here (I believe in 2nd chances) there was a smell of what i can only describe as a combination of dirty laundry and bleach as I passed the bar into the main dining area. Since I feel unwelcome I think I smell it again. It may not have been there this time...but it stinks anyway. Service was not bad, but not intuitive or appreciative either. The food: I had shrimp tacos. There was so much dressing on the slaw that I questioned the attention to detail of the kitchen staff overall (especially if they report to the guy at the front of the store). My friends (there were 7 of us who have agreed to not return) gave mediocre reviews of their meals as well. What a shame. LON had promise. This place will stay busy for awhile until they run out of 2nd chances and/or the growing number of choices makes them irrelevant. read more

My first experience wasn't a very good one. NEVER in a MILLION years would I have expected BACON in bread pudding! Being that I don't eat pork, this was a very very very bad thing for my stomach! The menu said "premium ingredients"... I would have NEVER imagined that was pork! Also, I ordered Bread Pudding and Fried Chocolate Cake... the menu stated it came with ice cream! The food here is absolutely delicious. It was great ambience for a Valentine's Day date night dinner. The live music was also incredible. My only issue is the upstairs seating area is not covid safe at all. Tables are not socially distanced or marked off as no seating allowed due to limited capacity. There is also no requirement for patrons to wear masks. My wife and I came in with masks on and were gawked at like we had three heads by all the patrons. The bar was totally packed with people sitting and standing- no masks. There were people standing around shoulder to shoulder near the door, waiting to be seated- no masks. The food is delicious and all, but I don't know that it's worth dying for. We made sure to be seated downstairs where seating does seem to have been spaced out for social distancing. We were far more comfortable down there and could still hear the great live music. The service was top notch. There was a gentleman going around table to table, possibly a manager (I don't know) making sure people were comfortable. He had great energy and was incredibly hospitable. read more

Not my favorite place to eat. The manager can only handle one thing at a time. We had reservations and he was doing something on his IPad and with only one hostess on duty ( she was seating another couple), manager said someone will be with you. Overpriced for what you get. Tables are set up very close to your neighbors on each side, so you can hear all the conversations. One group of four was discussing brain surgery to relieve pressure, and gave all the bloody details quite loudly! The manager didn't like it when I sent my linguine with clams back. My clams were not cleaned properly ( sand still in them!). The manager came to the table and stated that the clams come in to the restaurant pre-washed. Obviously not washed well enough. After I sent them back and refused to order anything else, the waitress got an attitude, like she didn't want to be bothered with us. My husband order an individual size pizza ( he shared , so I had 2 pieces ). We won't be going back anytime soon. Note to the Management: Don't make excuses to customers, just do the right thing and apologize. read more

The interior embraces the historic roots of the building, and manages to fashion the decor with that industrial chic look. The staff is attentive, friendly, accommodating and professional. I brought my mom, son, niece & nephew here for large, and fortunately the high-top galleys at the back of the restaurant were unoccupied; we needed the extra space. The kids split two of their pizzas, which are Neapolitan/wood fired oven style with fresh mozzarella and thinner crust. I had the burger, and for being a 2 patty burger I was surprised to find that they cooked it perfectly medium-rare, as requested. My one critique, the burger patties didn't seem to be seasoned with salt or spices. That is not to say that it wasn't flavorful, as the fried onion strings and the tomato jam definitely brought that, but it would have been nice to have their slight sweetness contrasted with something else (side note, the bun is toasted just right to compliment the onions' crunch texture). In closing, I really want to give 4.5 stars instead of 4, but they aren't quite a 5 star yet. read more

New to this area we found this on Yelp and tried it for Sunday brunch. We were seated promptly outside on the back deck which was great. The view is not much but the weather was fantastic. The waitress was excellent. Prompt service and good information about gluten free items for my wife. I ordered bourbon based mixed drinks which were made to my specification. I had the steak omelette special and my wife had a Trout special. We always ask for server recommendations and the food did not disappoint. Fresh, local and delicious. Went here for the first time this week and was really impressed. Beautiful interior, attentive staff, and many excellent offerings on the menu. The bartender Luke was very welcoming and kept my glass full as needed, making me feel right at home. At his recommendation I tried the mussels...and he was spot-on, they were incredible. If you're looking for a place to impress a date or anyone else, this is easily one of the best I've had the pleasure of visiting and dining at in the Canton area.
