Came here last night with my mom and toddler. It was about a 10 minute wait which was bad at all. We were sat at a booth/chair combo against the back wall. It was comfy. I did see that there was like community seating tables which seemed odd for covid times but whatever people are comfortable with I suppose. Our server was very kind and quick! We ordered guac and chips to start. My mom ordered 3 fish tacos, I got the cheese enchiladas and my daughter got the kids chicken tenders. Everything was super good !! Had the grilled ribeye tacos and tbh best tacos I've ever had. Mocktail was 7.5/10. Service was nice and the wait wasn't too long tho it seemed like they had a full house. Interior was pleasant and it seemed like everyone there was having a good time. read more

Waited 30 minutes and wasn't served wasn't even asked what we wanted to drink and the employees were very rude.

Start with the trio salsa. If you like spicy HOT, try the tres chili salsa for sure! Served warm. At this visit I had the Shrimp and Brie quesadilla. The grilled shrimp were perfect and the dish was filling and sooo creamy. But you need to like chutney. It is a unique addition to this entree. My husband had the Ceviche. Amazing! I'm from out of Town visiting my son, he introduces me to all the places here that he's learned to love. This Local Lime spot is way better then expected. It's definitely a higher end place food wise with a chill atmosphere. The beer selection is great as well. The unlimited fresh nacho chips (con queso) is like the oyster crackers of Mexico. A nice selection of taco choices... inside, outsides and all arounds lol wash it down with a local beer and it's the perfect spot for a casual or romantic date... yet also for a family affair. The service was attentive... food took a lil long so the waiter made sure we were taken care of. Food came out sizzling and so good. Definitely a go to. read more

Great venue! Visiting on business with a group and this was lunch. What a AWESOME choice. Easy in and quickly seated with 9 in our party. Wonderful selection of lunch items, salsa (the mango salsa was phenomenal). Live the unique chips. Fish tacos were a hit among other dishes. Everyone left satisfied. This was a 4 day stay in Rogers so lots of meals. The consensus for the week was Local lime was in the top 2 of all restaurants. Great job folks. I'll be back. read more

Passing through town and craving Mexican. We went early and were seated immediately, but later there was a long line--no reservations here. Two nights later we went at more common dinner time nd it was chaotic and my friend couldnt even find hostess to put in our name. The night we did get in--you have to buy salsa which is always a shock to me. But the 3 we tried were good--especially the mango and the green chile. My cousin had spinach enchiladas and liked. My mom had chicken fajitas--also good. Nice that you could choose flour or corn tortillas. The chips --made from their own tortillas-- were way too good. My wife and I tried Local Lime based on Yelp reviews and proximity to our hotel and shopping. We were a little disappointed that chips and salsa weren't included, but decided to buy the 3-salsa and chips offering along with the queso blanco. We were glad we did! The salsas were delicious, and way beyond the garden variety freebie we've come to expect. We had the mango, zucchini and verde tomatillo salsas. The chips were house made, strip style and were as delicious as the salsas. They were so good that we decided to go back the next night just for the salsa and queso. The first night we shared the combo fajita - steak and shrimp. We absolutely loved it too. The second night I tried a fish taco and was not disappointed. DELICIOUS! read more

I absolutely love the food & the atmosphere at this place! I have a few different items on the menu & I am never disappointed. My favorite item is the Dixon Chicken Enchiladas. If you order any of their tamales make sure you really like a lot of masa, because their's has a lot. They have tacos for everyone and a menu that will wow the locals and visitors alike. $5 margs during happy hour are just a special touch. Let's talk tacos. We all love tacos and the tacos local line has to offer are flavorful and the sense of quality is there. You should not compare these to the flimsy street tacos made from ground beef out there, but we're talking tacos made from RIBEYE, just to cite an example. There's shrimp, fish (cod), ahi tuna, pork. They're all worth a try. If you're a tequila connoisseur, this is also the place for you. My only minor gripe are the sides. Most people will include rice and beans with their meal, which if you look at the choices, that's what you'll end up selecting yourself. But hopefully they can provide more variety on sides in the future. read more

There are numerous styles of 'Mexican' cuisine and my personal preferences lowered this recommendation. It is a nice place with reasonable spacing between tables. It has nice decor and doesn't have the cheap feel that we sometimes experience. Service was solid and timely. Chips and salsa are not complimentary- you buy an order of chips for $4.50 and then select 3 types salsa from a choice of 6. The chips were not greasy but they were cold, slightly thick,hard and had little flavor. We tried a tomato salsa, 3 pepper and verde. All were quality ingredients but all had limited flavor. Even the ground chiles was nicely prepped but had almost no punch. The taquitas and carnitas taco were good but not memorable. Guacamole was fresh with little flavor. The top shelf margarita was interesting. It is prepared and served up in a martini glass and finished with a spritz of Grand Marnier. Slightly sweeter than norm but a fun presentation. For many people this could be a favorite but for me I found the food well prepared but lite on flavor read more

We got the salsa trio to start which I would definitely recommend. Zucchini salsa was a group favorite, followed by tomatillo and mango salsa. Chips were fresh. Our table had someone order chorizo tacos (10/10), chicken tacos, and ahi tuna tacos. All were really good and ahi tuna was fresh which I'm always worried about. Margaritas were delicious all around. Went on a Thursday night and there was a 30-45 minute wait. Once we were seated our waitress was very nice and super attentive. I ordered the carnitas tacos, queso, and a frozen margarita. I have friends who love this place but I'm not impressed so far. I've tried the restaurant 4 times and haven't found anything that really stands out. The guacamole and salsa are not a positive for me. I love guacamole and will not order it again here. It tastes like it came out of a can. Salsa is average at best. We love local lime however if your going to ask how you want your ribeye cooked when ordering the fajitas, then at least get it close. I have this meal often and when I request medium rare 80% of the time it is beyond well done. Very disappointing because when they get it right it is wonderful. I love coming here to meet up with friends after a long week. The food and drinks here are good. I dont know why they got rid of reservations when there is still COVID. Most diners d9nt have yelp so they may not know there is a waitlist you can use. Even I didnt know till I got there that they have a waitlist option on yelp. It's also freezing cold out and since people cant gather and wait inside most hang outside or in their cars...I dont think that's an efficient way to run this. There needs to be a better way. Now to the food: I had the delicious local lime rice bowl which I loved! Its fresh with lots of veggies. Drink: i tried their new blood orange margarita which was good Dessert: the apple crisp was warm and yummy paired with the icecream. Service: our waitress was attentive and came around multiple times to make sure we were good and very accommodating. Overall, I enjoyed dining here although we waited about an hour for a table which was at the bar area. I would suggest people get on the waitlist in advance before getting there to lessen their wait time. read more
