    Quesobirria Tacos

The atmosphere upon entering was warm, cozy, and inviting. We were promptly greeted by the host and seated quickly. Exposed brick, the warm wood from the modern chair design and table tops, along with the lighting really made us feel at home and at ease. Our server was friendly and prompt. The Quesabirria Tacos were well flavored and the meat was incredibly tender, but the consommé was the standout of the show bringing all the flavors and nuances together. Others in the group ordered the flautas and the pastor tacos. Excellent food and excellent service!

Since Yeyo's was temporarily closed, the fellas and I were on the hunt for some good Mexican food in Bentonville. After doing some research, we came across this spot, and let me start by saying--it did not disappoint. They led us upstairs, where we were served water immediately (always points for me) as well as chips and salsa. The salsa wasn't your traditional kind; for one, it had a deep brown color, and instead of a tomato-forward taste, it had a bold, smoky flavor that seemed to come from roasted peppers. It was different, but absolutely delicious. We also ordered queso, and honestly, it was one of the best I've ever had--extremely creamy, incredibly rich, and just overall excellent. Now, for the main course. I wish I had turned the tray around to show the little bowl of onions, cilantro, and consomé that came with it. But let me tell you, I have dreamed about this Quesabirria since the night I had it. The service was also excellent extremely sweet and helpful.

Had a quick lunch here today. The 5 mini fish tacos were cute and filling. I could have used about double the amount of the chipotle sauce, it was definitely not too overpowering. They were accommodating of my cilantro allergy. The location was great - right off the downtown square (adorable in itself!). We were some of the only patrons on a weekday for Sunday lunch. However, we heard some life stories from employees instead from them talking in the kitchen. Loved the interior decor, but found it so strange how difficult it is to just get into the table. The table legs are just a few inches away from the end of the bench. Very uncomfortable and strange. Was a little surprised by the card surcharge - seems unusual when everyone uses cards.

We chose to get take out on Valentine's night. Our order was accurate and very well presented for take out. The flautas are so full of incredible shredded chicken. Our birria burrito was filled with lean flavorful meat, avocado, beans and rice. We got all of the sauces on the side and all the food held up very well on the drive home. The quality of food is outstanding and portions are large. There was a small house salad in our bag. Other than that there are no sides so if you need them be sure to order them on as extra items. We didn't feel we needed more. They entrees are very filling.

My love language is tacos. And at Azul Tequila, I can honestly say they speak my language. Next time you find yourself hankering for some local Bentonville Mexican flare look no further than Azul Tequila. You'll love the atmosphere, Frida Kohlo, and ode to Mexican American paintings. This spot hit the spot while I was looking for a quick dinner with some friends. I loved the salsa and asked for the extra spicy that packed a powerful punch of heat. My cochinita pibil tacos were just delightful and plenty of food for just me. It came with traditional horseradish, cilantro and lime. I devoured the cochinita tacos. Would definitely recommend this spot. The service was prompt and food came out quickly. Make this your next spot for tacos and tequila.

Super nice service!!! We were looking for some 100% natural agave tequila and the margaritas they made for us were so yummy. It was refreshing and it was so smooth. I finished my drink so fast lol Margaritas (4.4/5)

Right in the heart of downtown Bentonville. We were looking for a margarita and some delicious Mexican food! This place has it! We were seated promptly and chips and salsa kept flowing. Our beverages were topped off if they got low and overall everything was fast! Thank you Raul for the amazing service! The portion was huge and the food was delicious!. The chabelita special was loaded with chicken, rice, grilled veggies and it was served with a cup of cheese dip that was decadent! TRY THE ESQUITES! You will be happy you did. I had the server Raul bring me the Jamaica margarita....the best!!! you can thank me later if you try it! Every bite had me getting fuller and fuller.... Holy smokes I left super stuffed! Thank you for being awesome! Our girls loved their quesadilla and chicken split/shared by both of them Huge portions and awesome service! We will return when in the area. Respectfully, Bryan Yukon, Oklahoma

The food was 10/10 as well as the ambiance and the service. I got the birria tacos and they did not disappoint. The michelada was huge !! I was only visiting but if I live in Arkansas, this would be my go to spot.

We had nice and attentive service. I ordered the Santa Monica club, which is actually a wrap. But was delicious and was able to swap out my side of fries for the Esquites which were also good. My husband ordered the pork tacos with black beans and rice, also delicious. Very pleased with this choice. And it's in a lovely setting right on the town square.

Literally across the street from the very first Walmart (Walton's), and whether you love 'em or hate 'em, it's pretty cool history. The food, you ask? Fabulous!!! The chips were homemade and crispy, with the house salsa being fabulous, we got their HOT salsa as well, which was super flavorful, but certainly not hot. Of course we started with Margaritas (The Hollywood), which infused pineapple into the drink and I could have downed 5. Had to drive back to the hotel, so one was sufficient. Yum! I had the Curry Chicken Burrito... what???! Curry in a burrito?? Incredible!! My compadre had some sort of chicken tostada thing that was also a hit. The ambience was upscale modern, but not too flashy with plenty of room between the tables. A gigantic thanks to Rosa for turning the 4.5 stars into 5! She was friendly, funny and efficient with a smile that brightened the night! Highly recommended if you are in Bentonville, Arkansas! Cheers

Interestingly, they were…read moreplaying Cuban jazz and salsa--pleasant, but I found myself wishing for something like Selena y Los Dinos or Emmanuel Cortes to better match the vibe. The agave spirits selection is underwhelming, though that may be influenced by visiting the day after "Gringo de Mayo." The chips are comparable to standard "restaurant-style" options you'd find at a grocery store. The quesadilla is a bit unusual--there's no integrated mix of cheese and protein. Instead, the components are kept separate, which explains why the menu describes it as "baked." I initially thought that was odd, but it makes more sense now. The ranchero beans are overly salted, with little depth beyond that. While there appear to be other seasonings, they don't come through. The rice is plain and unremarkable.

When we arrived at the hotel late, we wanted to grab a quick dinner and I had eaten at an Abuelo's in Orlando many times. Felt like that was a solid choice for us since we knew it was not a gamble. Rick was our server and he was helpful and friendly. He brought out their trio of salsas with hot tortilla chips that felt like they were made minutes before. Not sure if they are, but they did taste fantastic! I love their queso here, and they had a Diablo one that I hadn't had before but we decided to get the dip trio- queso, Diablo queso, and guacamole. What an epic decision! They came with more tortilla chips but also chicharrones which was sturdier and could hold up to the thicker Diablo queso and guacamole. I couldn't stop eating the salsa and dips. I chose to get a combination plate, with an enchilada, taco, and tamale. Rick mentioned they had a mashed potato side that was tasty- not expected for a Mexican restaurant but I decided to take the recommendation. Rick came through, honestly I could've eaten just the dips and potatoes and had been super happy about it. I overate, which was a problem but in a good way because I fell asleep immediately after we got back to the hotel. We were doing a crazy travel week where we were in 5 states, two countries for meetings, so not a lot of rest. It's part of a chain but this one was clean, friendly, with great execution on the food. Rick was clutch with more salsa and chips which in the end was my undoing but I didn't care. Visit here and make sure you try their dips, and the mashed potato side which may have been one of the best things I had all week. Dead serious! The next time I go I'm going to ask for no rice and beans and just get these crazy mashed potatoes. Thank you Rick and Abuelo's for reminding me that every now and then, going to eat at a chain spot is still a good thing.

I got the grilled chicken burrito bowl and I have to be honest, I've never seen a bowl quite like this. From the initial presentation of the bowl I wasn't sure if I would like it. The chips seemed random and the only think you see if mixed greens, cherry tomatoes and pickled onions so I was like where is the meat?! Once I started mixing everything in the bowl together I found the chicken and rice hiding at the bottom of the bowl. The bowl was delicious and the chicken was marinated perfectly. So good! I think my only note is that it would be great if the chicken and rice were placed on top instead of hidden at the bottom of the dish. This is an upscale Mexican restaurant, so expect to spend more money than is necessary.
