Last night in the Rogers / Bentonville area and I wanted a good hot meal. Had an early flight the next morning so went for an early dinner. I'm glad I did. This place was packed. Luckily I found a single spot at the bar (yes, my regular seat) as the wait was probably 30 min for a table at 5:30pm on a Tuesday night. Bar was packed the whole time I was there and bar tenders were helpful. Would have appreciated a heads up that happy hour was almost over (4-6) to place another drink order, but lesson learned. Lots of good food and drink choices on the menu. While I am more of a bourbon guy, they had lots of tequila options and a really good margarita on the rocks with salt (they also had frozen margaritas) I went with the 3 tacos combo with 2 sides and really liked the carnitas pork and cilantro rice side drunk beans were ok. Definitely a hot spot to meet people for drinks or dinner. Just make a reservation or be prepared to wait. Unless your like me and can always find a spot for one at the bar. read more

Bentonville seems to have a large # of Mexican restaurants and Table Mesa is my favorite, but Local Lime gave it a run for its money. It wasn't too crowded on a Tuesday evening and we were seated quickly. The service was friendly and effective. I enjoyed the salsa trio, but was a bit disappointed chips & salsa weren't standard with the meal. I had the fresco bowl and added salmon which they were willing to cook well done with no challenges though the standard temp is medium. It was filling and fresh. I also had a good Paloma and the rest of the cocktail menu looked tasty also. Overall a nice casual dining spot to try. read more

Been meaning to come here forever and FINALLY got my chance. Always in the mood for Mexican food, I knew whatever happened would have to be good. Except it was BETTER! I loved everything I ate and wanted to try at least 10,000 things more. Here's what went down: Guacamole - amazingly fresh! One of the best I've ever had. Chips were homemade too. This was an excellent start to the meal. Local Chorizo Tacos - out of this world! Holy moly. Spicy with this luscious avocado creme on top. I couldn't get enough of it. Soooo good. Black Beans - these were a little spicy as well but had excellent flavor. Jicama Jalapeño Slaw - so nice! A great contrast to all the spicy things. Carnitas - one of the best hubby has ever had! (And he's had A LOT.) Crispy Ahi Tuna Taco - this was the only "meh" for my husband. He wasn't a big fan of the blue corn shell, for one. Tuna was seared and diced but it could've had more flavor. Good taco but not a fave. Beer Battered Shrimp Taco - very good! The shrimp was plump and juicy. Beer batter was delicious. One more layer of flavor would have been okay. Sauce on top was good, although the taco as a whole was a little dry. Maybe the slaw on top could be tossed in something. Spicy Pickled Veggies - these were surprisingly yummy! Carrots, cauliflower, celery I think all covered in vinegary goodness. Drunken Beans with Bacon - smoky pinto beans; an excellent alternative to refried beans. Loved them! Overall, everything was clean and fresh and you felt like you were eating healthy, although I'm sure that's mostly not true. Everything was presented in a pleasing way and looked so delicious. And of course, tasted even better. We will ABSOLUTELY be back! read more

LOVED this place! We ate at the bar and had a great time. It was actually very comfortable (in terms of ambiance, temperature, music, personal space), more comfortable than we probably would have been in the dining area. And it was fun to talk to the bartenders. We had a couple of bartenders and they were both great. Of course, the receipt says "bar" so I don't know their names, a taller young man and a dark haired young woman with blue eyes. Both were excellent on service. I mean, he actually moved the box of limes away to give us more space, I thought that was really nice, right off the bat. And she was also attentive and pleasant and really helpful with the menu and drink knowledge. So I can't say enough about how great the service was. But the food was equally good. My wife has a gluten allergy and this place not only has the gf items marked clearly, but they can also accommodate some things that aren't specifically marked as such. AND they note they have a dedicated fryer for the (corn/gf) tortilla chips. Enjoyed the salsa starter (set of 3) with fresh hot chips. I liked that the chips were more of the thin long style than the triangular. But the appetizer that was even better was the street corn. A complete winner. My wife's chicken tacos were excellent. Flavorful, moist chicken. I had the chicken adobe tamales with the cilantro lime rice and black beans. Check, check, and check - great, great, and great. Loved the texture of the masa, little shavings of jalapeño and the tomatillo sauce in the tamale (and the chicken itself, of course). Really enjoyed that tamale! Drinks were also great. Sure, they had plenty of margarita options (I got the premium, which came in a martini glass, it was very good) but also several cocktails and not a bad wine list. For a shorter wine list, the selections were pretty good. Particularly the Anne Amie Pinot Gris, that's a very good choice. And they have it by the glass or the carafe. Like that a lot! We would definitely return to this place. It's in a shopping area so plenty of easy parking too, but the food and the service are what will bring us back. read more

Great ambiance! This location is modern and hip. The food was excellent. We started with a trio of salsas. The mango- my husband's favorite, house tomato (mild spice) and the zucchini which was my favorite. Our 10mo. old loved the zucchini salsa too. The chips are homemade and pretty thick. My husband said "The Caribbean Shrimp Tacos are very flavorful! They are topped with a type of Caribbean mustard sauce that goes with the beer battered flavor. They came on homemade flour tortillas that are fluffy and light. Cilantro rice and smoky beans were great. I would try a different side other than the beans next time." The strawberry margarita was real, and not made with any type of mix. Great place for date night. I am gluten-free with Celiac disease, so I went with the Carnitas pork tacos on homemade corn tortillas and they were the best pork tacos I've ever had! The pork is juicy and the crema sauce with the onions added such a great flavor! I squeezed the lime over each one and took the tacos to the next level! The cilantro lime rice and black beans were delicious and I would order them again. The white queso is gluten free and I will order that next time. Overall, a great assortment of vegetarian and gluten free options like fajitas, tacos, etc. We will be back soon. read more

We stopped in for lunch, and informed the waitress of our food allergies, she was helpful but we mentioned dairy as an issure, suprised to see the enchiladas were covered, seriously had to have had a 1/2 pound of melted cheese on them. We should have sent them back but just scraped off over 1/3 pound off the top. I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and I finally got the chance to try it. I ordered online which was simple and easy. They text you when the order was received and when it is ready. I picked it up Curbside. If you're facing the restaurant, curbside is on the left side of the building by Dillards. You just need to call when you arrive. The food was good. It was packaged well. The only complaints I have is I asked for plasticware and only got one package for 3 orders. The black beans were a little too spicy for our taste but the taste was good. The enchiladas were a little smaller than what I expected but it was still enough to satisfy you. We ordered the Pork Carnitas Tacos, Dixon Enchiladas, Ribeye Nachos and a side of Drunken Pinto Beans and Market Corn. I was really looking forward to that Market Corn but was left slight dissatisfied. For me, it may have had too much Crema on it. The Drunken Pinto Beans were the best of what we ordered. I am going back and recommend you give it a shot. I'm looking forward to trying the fish tacos, ribeye tacos and fried chicken tacos. read more

Good local beer selection to sample while you wait, and there was a bit of a wait. Could be because the food was good. I had the fish tacos (cod) which were nice and light. Black beans were great, but not really fond of the cilantro rice. My other half had the ribeye tacos and they were pretty good too. Both taco options were good, and not sure which to rate better. Stopped in for dinner (arrived early on a Friday 5:00 hoping to beat the crowd). Covid wait outside not so fun in the winter, but they gotta follow guidelines. Lucky to have Annalisa as our server in the bar. She's delightful. My hubby had pescado Vera Cruz (fancy salmon served on a sizzling fajita platter) - it was cooked perfectly and delicious. The service was attentive even though it was a crowded lunch time. The queso was good. That's all I can say that's positive about it. Because of the crowd it was loud so it was hard to hear the waite staff. My wife had some sort of pork stew that she couldn't even eat after one bite. There were so many competing spices they were overpowering and the vegetables were unidentifiable. I had the salmon platter. It was overcooked and the mango salsa was fermenting. The lime rice seemed to be plain rice with lime green food coloring in it but no lime flavor. We went because we had seen good reviews. Clearly we were at a different restaurant. This is my SPOT. Whenever we have people come visit us we take them here. My fav items on the menu is the salmon plate, the grilled shrimp tacos and the Fresno bowl. Took forever to get our mixed drinks (she came back 3 separate times to tell us that they were working on our drinks) but the table next to us got theirs almost immediately after us and they were seated about 5 minutes after us. The food was really good. The salsas were amazing. I honestly have zero complaints other than the waitress and she wasn't terrible. Just moved a little slower than what I could see her coworkers moving (there was one guy that was basically running and she appeared to be casually walking). I visited this restaurant today for the first time. I am thoroughly impressed! First of all the atmosphere is really impressive. It is a mix of modern and coastal with a very clean feel. The food was absolutely fantastic! I ordered the fried chicken tacos with a side of these delicious beans and cilantro lime rice. The salsa trio was delicious also. Nothing was greasy at all including the chips. Everything felt extremely fresh. The portions were large and I was able to take home another full meal of leftovers . They also gave us a complementary piece of Keylime pie since it was my friends birthday. I highly recommend this place to eat and I can't wait to go back. read more

I've eaten here many times and it's amazing! Friendly service, good food and awesome drinks! I have a hard time picking a favorite dish. I'm currently obsessed with the New Mexico Veggie Tacos and their queso. (I have a major queso addiction!) The bar is awesome, but I'm partial to their margaritas, which are really good! Never got to eat there. After waiting for about 20 minutes, they put us in the bar at one of the tables that made you feel like you were sitting at a grownups table. The table was taller than the chairs were so you had to basically sit with your elbows at shoulder height. Not very comfortable. But although the tables were IN the bar area, they were still considered part of the dining room. Which is really dumb. So, needless to say, we left and went to PFChangs and had dinner in their bar area. We had previously had an appetizer at Local Lime , in the bar, at the bar, and really liked he ribeye nachos and the salsa and chips. But this time it was so full of kids (apparently Chuck E Cheese was full) that it is almost impossible to have an adult night out in a nice restaurant. read more

Came here on a sunday around 11:30 am and there were a good number of people here but we got seated right away. I really like the ambience here and that it smells like limes when you walk in. We ordered chips and guac but noticed one chip had a blue-green spot on it and wasn't sure what it was so we set it aside but the rest of the chips looked fine. When the waitress delivered the rest of our food, she noticed the chip and got us a whole new bowl and the manager came out to bring us more chips and free guac/salsa coupons which was very nice since we weren't even going to say anything about it. The tuna tacos were really good and i liked that the shell didnt fall apart while you ate it. The cilantro lime rice and drunken beans were also pretty good. The fresco bowl was well flavored and the chicken was tender and there was a little spice that added a nice kick. The portions are decently sized too, we left feeling very full. This place is just visually so appealing from the curb. I had researched some restaurants in the area and this one popped up as a great option. Whoever designed the interiors left no area unloved, wow! Had a great cocktail to start corpse reviver 13, complex and great flavor! Got queso to start and it was delish! Hubby had the ribeye tacos and while they had good flavor very gristly (drunken beans and cilantro rice - amazing) Tortilla soup, flavor incredible but maybe not put so many tortilla strips in the bowl they soaked up all the yummy juice! So, I sometimes avoid places based on hype, I'll admit. I thought I was going to Chuey's and was a little bummed when I heard we chose Local Lime. That being said, I should chill out on that because this meal was MEMORABLE. I texted my husband to immediately get it on our radar. Their price range matches Torchy's while delivering a MUCH better value (aka a much better taco). I did a la carte 3 different tacos and there were no misses. The Salsa trio we had was pretty good, not to best ever but the variety was fun and interesting. To top it all off, my tex mex Marg (at 11am on a Sunday because i'm a heathen) was a home run. Wonderful restaurant. I think it is local establishment but I know they use local products. Fresh tortillas and home made tortilla chips. They even had a dedicated fryer so those with celiac can eat safely. The atmosphere was relaxed and the decor was fun. We went for lunch and left super full! We had the pork tacos, ribeye tacos, queso and house salsa and we would have it all again!! There was plenty of food for my two daughters and I. Our waiter was extremely helpful and had great suggestions. This is a place we will visit again, next tine we will bring Daddy along!! Before we started shopping at the lovely Pinnacle Hills Shopping Center in Rogers, Arkansas, we had a great start by having lunch at the Local Lime there. The service was very good and quick. Chips and queso was fresh-made and great. I had Local Carnitas tacos, which was made with slow-roasted pork, pickled onion, cotija cheese, red pepper crema, and cilantro. They were served on local stone-ground corn tortillas. THey were served with two sides. I made an excellent choice! The restaurant is very nice and upscale. Dissatisfied with this experience. In my honest option Chipotle is higher quality and tastes better. Way overpriced for the quality of the food. I also found the bathroom to have a very overwhelming smell of chemical cleaners. The recurrent theme of this restaurant is it has some good ideas and concepts but the execution is absolutely terrible. Appetizers: They boast daily house made salsa but they just aren't anything I would recommend ordering. Flavor profiles are lacking and frankly very bland. I've had much better salsas from a jar. We ordered the "Queso Flameado" and it lit on fire but was so incredibly lacking in quality and flavors. Soon after eating my dad and I felt sick to our stomachs. Entrées: My brother ordered the "Fish Tacos" and was surprised to receive them fried. We referenced the menu and it did specify the fish preparation was fried. We gave it about 4/10 stars, although it was the best dish at the table. My dad and I both got enchiladas, chicken and veggie. We give them 2/10 stars. My veggie enchiladas were covered in what felt like an inch of cheese with only a tiny bit of filling. My dads chicken enchiladas were prepared the same way. I ended up eating my rice and beans and neglecting the rest of my food partially because of how unappetizing it was but also because of my stomach discomfort from the appetizers. The rice and beans just weren't great either.. chipotle has way better rice and beans. Positive: The homemade chips were really good and the decor/music created an upbeat energy and environment. read more
