I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience here was so disappointing I feel others should know. We ordered three separate dishes -- steak fajitas, a steak burrito, and a chicken chimichanga -- and all were so salty they actually burned our throats. I had to send my burrito back, but we felt bad sending everything back, so we didn't, even though they were all practically inedible. When we told our server, she admitted they've been getting a lot of complaints about the food being too salty for the past month. Clearly something needs to change. The salsa tasted like plain canned tomato sauce with zero flavor, and the tortillas they used on the burrito looked and tasted like the kind you'd grab from Walmart -- which honestly should have been my red flag the moment I saw them. For the prices they charge, I expected fresh, flavorful food, not this. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. read more

Came here on a whim with my mom. We were hungry and excited to try this place out. I'm not sure if we came close to when they opened, but there was no host so getting seated was a little awkward at first. But we did get sat. We got complimentary chips and salsa that were so yummy. I ordered the birria tacos and my mom ordered the tacos. Everything was SOOO GOOD. It all came out fresh and exactly what we didn't know we needed. The food was flavorful without being too heavily spiced/spicy. I would definitely love to come back and would suggest if someone was wanting some yummy Mexican food. I have been twice to this location. Only once to the Springdale location. I liked the food and service in Springdale. I am so excited that the Rogers location is open and I loved the food and service! The staff is so pleasant and the food is over the top! Very authentic! Our party of 4 adults and 2 children under 4 were accommodated. Chachi our waiter was great. The birria tacos are outstanding!Guacamole-perfect. Salsa-perfect. Paloma drink-perfect. We were seated at 5:30 on a Friday and there was a line out the door by the time we left. Thank you Alejo family. We will be back. The only mention to fix is to put a Casa Alejo sign on the door that enters the restaurant. You can see the sign on the building when pulling up to park, yet it is confusing which door to enter because the shade canopy covers the building sign when you arrive by foot. read more

We went there for dinner. Got there about 9:30, and had great meal. We ordered the Ribeye fajitas. Our server was Meredith. She was very good in that she was engaging, described the dish and how it was prepared. Very friendly. It's nice to see that there are still servers that know how to make you glad you went there. We stopped in after a Razorback game and were seated right away. Really cool decor with a casual upscale feel. Salsa and chips were immediately delivered and kept full. This is the worst lunch I've had in a long time. I am honest with my food but I must say that this place was outright bland and sad. The prices were absolutely outrageous. I ordered the shrimp ceviche and the chips with the small guacamole. Overall I payed almost 30 dollars and I was disappointed. The guacamole was not fresh and was browning, the shrimp was mushy and tasted frozen. I also got the margarita and I only ordered one. It was very watered down and refused to finish it. read more

Big disappointment. The place looks nice from the outside, but the food and drinks fall flat. The menu isn't authentic to Mexican culture and feels watered down for non-Hispanic customers. Our food was bland, cold, and the service lacked attention, even after we mentioned celebrating our anniversary, our server disappeared and let our drinks run empty. The drink menu was so limited that the only cocktail option offered was a margarita. If you want authenticity, good service, and real flavor, go somewhere else. read more
