This review is exclusively for the GM Garrett…read more We are patrons that visit once a week, so I'd safely say we're regulars. We order the same thing every time and greatly appreciate the service, the quality of food, the vibes, and consistency, up until this evening. The service, quality of food as always was superb as expected. It was around a quarter past 9 when we signed the check and we were finishing up our drinks when someone whom we've never encountered before came out with the demeanor of an annoyed bouncer and announced in a loud and intolerant voice that they are closed and we need to leave, surprising us and the other table of 4 next to us before promptly turning his back. I was shocked as I had always known FTT to close at 10pm. I asked our angel of a waiter if I was confused as I thought 10 pm was the closing time and she confirmed they switched there hours 2 days prior. The feeling I was left with after this encounter with the GM, especially being the first time meeting him, turned the pleasant night into a spoiled evening and bitter taste in my mouth. Having been a loyal customer for many seasons and established great relationships with many servers I am extremely disappointed in this encounter with the GM and hesitant to continue my loyalty because of it. He seemed to be more concerned about having to pay the employees overtime than ensuring proper service with its patrons. If you want a sure fire way to loose customers, keep this tool as your GM, otherwise please consider looking elsewhere. Love everyone else at this establishment, this review is singular in whom it's directed, Garrett is the ONLY negative aspect of FTT.

THIS is great Tex Mex place to eat!!…read more Portions are huge, the three salsas they bring out are homemade and each unique enough to keep dipping more and more. Our waitress was Brenda and she is our new favorite person. Inside is a bit dated but it's clean and feels just right for a local restaurant. ( and not a touristy comical Mexican place) Will be back !

Long time customer of la hacienda, we used to love them, went there today for To-go dinner for my…read morewife and I. Ordered a chicken taco salad, cheese dip and 7 tacos al- la-cartart I thought. Looked at my receipt I was charged for a full meal on 3 of the taco's and and 2 half meals on 4 tacos and then charged a to-go fee on each of the so called meals. So because each, including the taco salad was a so called meal I was charged for rice and refried beans I did not get. All in all I paid $30 for 7 tacos and $23 for a chicken taco salad and a small tub of cheese dip. I understand they are basically charging .30 cents on each star foam tub for Togo. But all 7 tacos could have fit in one tub. And to be charge for full meals while buying individual tacos. I've been there many times and never disappointed but this makes me not want to go there. On top of that after getting home 4 miles away. The crispy tacos were soaked in water from the flavorless beaf meat leaving the shells floppy and soggy, the street taco's soft corn tortillas were steamed with a nasty soggy dry grainy texture, not flat top grilled at all. The chicken taco salad had hardly any meat, no beans, but had a ton of lettuce and sour cream. The only thing that tasted good was the salsa and cheese dip. Not worth the $53.00 spent at all!!!

Went here for a team building work lunch. This was my first time dining here and I really liked…read morethe decor and overall ambiance, but it was really busy and fairly loud inside. There were 8 people in our group and they ended up seating us outside which wasn't a problem as it was warm and sunny. Once seated our server took our drink order quickly and followed up shortly with taking an order for appetizers. Which also came out fairly quickly. Our server then took our entree orders. He returned three or four times to replenish/refill drinks for the females in our group but ignored me and the other male in our group, until we asked for a refill. Our entree's took about 20 - 25 minutes to come out and there were several minutes between the first and last to make it to the table. In the business district of the town where most of their lunchtime weekday customers are workers on lunch break they need to be getting the food out the kitchen quicker. As for the food presentation was nice. Everyone's dishes looked really fresh and appetizing. Two of our team had the shrimp taco's and they was so much moisture in them they ended up eating them with a knife and fork. Another two on our team had the Quesabirria. They said it tasted good but had more cheese than Burria. As for my own dish, I had the poblanos with steak, which is three enchiladas covered in a poblano sauce with a side of rice. The portion was a reasonable size but the steak was chewy and while it wasn't bad the poblano sauce just didn't impress me. It was just plain in flavor, with not much poblano flavor. Like I mentioned earlier we were seated outside. I was about two thirds the way through my meal and found a small black hair in the sauce. Where we were sat was pretty breezy so I cannot say if the hair came with my meal or if it was blown onto my food, but it was not the best end to what I would call a lackluster meal.
