First time here, ordered breakfast. My husband had Pozole and I had the breakfast burrito. Both were delicious and the service was great!

The service was very good but the food was not what I thought it was going to be. It lacked that Mexican spice and a little bland.

Interestingly, they were…read moreplaying Cuban jazz and salsa--pleasant, but I found myself wishing for something like Selena y Los Dinos or Emmanuel Cortes to better match the vibe. The agave spirits selection is underwhelming, though that may be influenced by visiting the day after "Gringo de Mayo." The chips are comparable to standard "restaurant-style" options you'd find at a grocery store. The quesadilla is a bit unusual--there's no integrated mix of cheese and protein. Instead, the components are kept separate, which explains why the menu describes it as "baked." I initially thought that was odd, but it makes more sense now. The ranchero beans are overly salted, with little depth beyond that. While there appear to be other seasonings, they don't come through. The rice is plain and unremarkable.

The food, the cheese dip was cold and tasted like condensed cheese soup with a few colors and no flavor, the food came out hot but the rice was so dry it was like rocks the taco was ok the cheese enchilada was the best thing on the plate. The tamale tasted like a premade shipped in kind the chicken enchilada was wet tasting . Oh may I add the chips were cold and stale. Needless to say I've benn to Mexican restaurants all over the south and I'd put this one in the top five of not to go to again. I went here on the yelp review and boy I was severely Disappointed
